Cool game love how it looks and nice use of the theme. Can be annoying when an enemy randomly falls on you from the sky though.

I like the map in this game, too interesting, I feel that if the map does not have boundaries will be more interesting
Nice game, I especially loved the hexagonal environment and how the tiles rise up when you approach them, with really neat lighting effects.
Cool game! The mechanic was very on-theme, and the way the tiles move is great :)
First off, I love the visual style - the hexagonal tile grid and the way it rises/falls away when you move is really striking and fun to interact with!
You also stuck to the theme faithfully, so bonus points for you there!
My biggest game criticism is that I would have liked some enemy variety, and my biggest QoL criticism is that I would have liked something to tell me when the rules had changed (a popup notification, a sound effect, or something like that).
Great work though!
The board effect is amazing and innovative! The mechanic of switching rules is also interesting.
However, it can be hard to notice the sand glass. Some in-game effects such as light color or sound effects might help to demonstrate the time.
Yeah. Enemy variations and gui / sound effects was where my time run out. I was planning to add more rules and effects to demonstrate rule changes.
Nice game, really great graphics! (I had to use another computer, my notebook was suffering). Cool use of the theme. It's a little challenging but not too much! Seems you can cross the map limit to the right and go to infinity. Good job!
Really cool work on the visuals, and I can say it was pretty satisfying to slash a bunch of enemies. Nice job on this!
wow nice shaders, effects, style ... choice of font as well, fits perfectly ... I could spend all day just navigating this hex land just to feel the movement of the hexes.
Like the ground movement ! Got a glitch moving right ( it’s forgiven because iit is so cool )!
this game btw

I really love the hex-tile presentation of the game. Very well done!
Thanks for joining us today on stream and submitting your game. Had a lot of fun playing it. I don't know if it is the highest score but I got 4k just before I died. Here is the proof :p https://clips.twitch.tv/LaconicSplendidSquidRaccAttack-0Num8tmgcLugTLa0
Simple but effective mechanics. It can get a bit addicting chasing scores. The graphic style is really unique, I think it really pushes the experience to the next level. Well done!
Nice graphics, nice music, enjoyable. Overall a very good and quality game.
I liked the moving hex grid, I think that was a very good touch for the game world. It felt a little like Animal Crossing's cylindrical world in a way. I wish there had been a little more in the way of combat abilities, it was nearly impossible to finesse the combat system. Any time I could strike an enemy they could also strike me leading to generally very low scores. I think my best was in the 600's.
I really liked this game, the art and the whole world was really cool. Other then adding additional enemies or effects which would come given more time, my only suggestion would be to add some way of escaping damage like a dash. If you didn't want to do it that way you could add some healing option instead, maybe a vampire card or something. Regardless, really great game!
@mcnuttys Original plans was to have more options for combat like dashing, dodge and combo attacks make it feel more fluid but this is LD so time is.... Also vampire card is quite interesting idea.
Woowww, it is one of the best compo games i have played, if not the best
Nice visual style. Thanks for providing a Linux build! I wonder if there's a bug in it though since I see earlier comments mentioning music, but I'm not getting any here.
I would have liked some escalating difficulty. I know balance is awfully hard to work into 48 hours, and I'm sure like all of us, you have more ideas in the notebook than time to integrate them!
Cool stuff, the 2d visual of the character is great and the spawning tiles too, my only issue is that you have too many different visual styles. Some pixel art with lighting, some voxels, a wavy font and then huge solid pixel art for the rule border and the hourglass. And you probably know it already but you can escape the map to the right.
Gameplay is good, though pretty standard. The real winner here is the super awesome hex map! Would love to see something with gameplay more tied to it, rather than it just being visual candy. Very cool entry though!
the graphics are rad. Cool way to show fog of war in darkness around the map. I couldn't really find anything to the gameplay other then attempting to hit and run which was pretty boring. You have so little tools for dealing with enemies that the modifier cards don't really feel like interesting challenges
Really enjoyed the graphics and the level design.
Missing a bit of moody background audio, otherwise one of the best entries I've played so far.
If I had to point out one... "flaw"?, it'd be the attacking towards the top or bottom. I thought it was a bit difficult.
nice gameplay the rules get repetitive quite fast and even tho the sound effects are nice, it's lacking a usic for the ambiance the sprites are very good and i love the way the floor moves arounnd !!!
Nice Work!
