Overall I liked it! The characters controlled a little weirdly (I occasionally found one of the dudes getting stuck, and it wasn't always clear to me what way I should be moving a character, though usually in a fun way) and I think maybe more leninent time limits would be better, but I really liked it as both a single player and a co-op game

I was thinking: PIVOT! PIVOT! Really fun game, good job. The art is good and I like the music, the controls are hard to do alone but that was the point I guess. :D Good game overall!

these seem like two cool dudes
@smoe Hey, thanks for playing (at least here it is very early morning). Yeah, we had some issues with the physics and there was no time left, to tweak the different furnitures. Often, it helps to move diagonal, i.e., press to directions at the same time.

Interesting concept for a space-management game! I played with a friend, and we found the controls to be a little difficult to grasp, but working together to move quickly felt fun. We clipped outside of the walls once for moving too fast!

This was an interesting take! It messed my brain up big time with the controls but it felt novel to play ^^

Interesting game! Very tough to get your head around the motion, but pretty satisfying when things go well. Tried the last level and only 1 piece couldn't fit, but it counted as a loss anyways :( - oh well! Good work!
@remus We are actually not sure if it is easier to play alone or in co-op. @byro They are - you can see it on the winning screen  @retrisma Cool to hear from some co-op experience. We hadn't really time to test it ourselves. Yes, the physics - we had a hard time to hack it in a acceptable way. Just pretend the floor is a little bit slippery  @khelian You just have to try it a little bit more often - believe, after a lot of testing, I can handle it now quite well
Thank you all for playing, rating and especially commenting :hearts:
Very fun game! I don't have anybody to play with at the moment, but on my own, it perfectly captured the vibe of frantically trying to move furniture with someone else.
@t-c Cool to here, that you tried the hardcore level - yes, it can be solved but the order is really important. Actually, we have some "almost win screen" but I think it only appears when you destroy some furniture with the door. I totally agree with you that we should value if you almost solve the level. On the other hand, maybe it motivates you to try it again  Thanks for playing and commenting
@syntaxxor Thank you - nice to hear that it provides the feeling of moving heavy stuff.
Wrapping your head around these puzzles is actually quite interesting, since you can teleport to any piece of furniture. I like having to work out the right order to complete the objectives based on how you might block yourself if you put something down. The gameplay is well-considered.
Controlling the game is a bit janky, sometimes I do feel like I get suck on nothing, and moving in two different directions doesn't work like I expect. It's definitely workable though, I could get used to the controls, but the AI images and writing are a bit offputting honestly.
The first idea that came to our mind during brainstorming was something inspired on "Moving out" too :). This is a great execution guys!
Man these graphics is tasty

This game reminds me how I helped my dad move some heavy things from garage in the childhood, very nostalgic and full of fun at the same time
@axelrod777 Sorry to hear that our images and texts put you off. But good to hear that you still liked the game itself!
@jacinto-mba Thanks a lot for your nice feedback. We also played Moving Out a lot and it is definitely inspiration for the theme.
@anton4ik-dev Bon appetit! :hamburger:
@khmhmm Wow, thanks a lot! I think this is one of the best things games can do - trigger good memories.

A bit hard to control but really original concept, I never saw that

AMAZING!
This was fun, liked the two player potential, graphics were nice - had a few times a sofa would go into the wrong place but was minimal, great job
@magalix Thanks for the Kudos  If you liked it, these guys here did a similar thing but way more polished: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/54/crime-critters-rob-the-british-museum by @pen-island-games
@byzilio Thank you! :blush:
@phillip-scott Thanks a lot! About the sofa...had you ever friends helping you with moving to a new apartment?
Really fun, good idea! Totally captures the whole moving experince.

Loved the concept of controlling two characters at once. I'm sure it makes for a great co-op game. The controls are a bit tricky and feel buggy at times. Otherwise, great job overall.
@stesim The buggy controls result from us not having access to your physics expertise this time
@scott-cooper Thanks a lot! We advertise our sometimes buggy physics and control also as 'the real moving experience'

Interesting. Took a while to figure out the controls. Right will always move the character to the right of the screen. For me, it would have been more intuitive if right moved the character to the character's right.
@hinesite Thanks for the feedback - this is a good point and we have added this to the description. We thought absolute movement would be easier, especially when moving two dudes with a fixed camera. But since this is not the usual way in games, we should have mentioned this earlier. Furthermore, we never tried relative movement, maybe this works better. We should try this...
Good game, want to keep going back to play to do it faster. Controls do take a little bit of time to master. Great job.
@rusty2117 Really nice to hear that you want to beat your time - we should definitely include personal high scores. Thanks for the nice feedback.
its always been my dream to be a dude like this amazing game dude

Haha, very funny game! Controls are a bit tricky, but that's the point! Loved it
It's that scene from Friends turned into a game, love it. With polish it can definitely be a Moving Out/Overcooked style game, great entry!
@golovco-adelina @yerkwell @hyper-ion Thank you all for your nice and positive feedback. :hearts: We definitely think about improving the game.
@golovco-adelina Maybe you should ask your friends if you can help them with moving

Oh god, I didn't expect the game to be hard lol it was fun though! The players move entirely too fast sometimes and way too slow other times. Not sure if that was on purpose or just part of Unity's default rigidbody setup. Good work though overall!
@cdunham Thanks for your feedback. Yes, we had not enough time to tweak the physics. We already had to introduce some hacks to prevent the furniture from rotating etc. So yes, the physics setup can definitely improved. On the other hand, I wonder if it is not part of the fun and he atmosphere to have not that perfect controls similar to games like gang beasts etc.

THis reminds me of the game Moving Out! I think you did a good job getting all the mechanics finished and multiple levels. I found the character inertia was annoying to deal with. Once furniture started rotating, it was difficult to keep track of which character was controlled by WASD and which by the arrow keys. I liked the music at the startup screen, but the in-game music got annoying fast. The visual indication that doors are about to close was a nice touch that adds some anticipation and stress (especially when you're wedged against the wall beneath the door and can't get unstuck!)
I think the timer should be more visible or have some sort of effect as time runs out. When I ran out of time I realized that I hadn't even seen the timer.
Good work, thanks for sharing!

Oh boy, this got chaotic real fast! With a little bit of understanding of the first characters movements, I managed to succeed! Yeyy
Good job, had a lot of fun. Now it is time to play with my favorite dude and test our relationship!
the movements was really difficult at the beginning. after that phase, i was getting used to it. I felt like the player movement was little be fast time to time if u pressed long enough. but yah, the game concept was really goo. loved the level design.
@burchyn Thanks for your nice comment  Never thought of our game as a relationship test, but good idea  Now that you say it - would be cool to introduce the profile matching aspect of your game into ours, so that you can choose from different dudes with different skills and behavior
@smiley405 You are right - we had not enough time to tweak the physics and so the dudes go rather fast with the smaller furniture. We want to improve this in a follow up, and maybe also introduce different floor types. Thanks for praising the level design.

@mar-zockmeister ohhh I love the idea! I do X 2 dudes crossover when?

What a fun mechanic! I think you nailed theme the most with this one. I can imagine playing this with a friend would be so much fun, though with a more lenient time limit ksdk. I think the timer would have been better if it counted up instead of down, that way you encourage players who want to go fast while not hurting the ones who wanna think harder and map out the room as a puzzle. x) One think I thought was a bit weird too was the trophy object, it felt a lot heavier on one side then the other, maybe it was intentional but it just felt like there were problems with the collision. Anyways, these minor things aside this was a really clever game, well designed levels and really fun mechanic, that's easy to understand but hard to master! Good job!

@burchyn With respect to the story, could be the second part of I do - after the successful wedding, the freshly married couple wants to move into their new home.
Hey @fupi thanks so much for your nice feedback and especially for your drawing. This honors us so much that you took your time to draw our Dudes. :hearts: Counting up is really a good idea, maybe in combination with a star system to honor the fast players. You are right, the physics of the trophy is a little bit weird but I actually loved it the way because it somehow resembles a cheap trophy with a heavy stand and also is a little bit different to the other objects. But in general, the physics itself and also the parameters of the objects definitely need some polishing.
I mostly liked it, but the time limit felt a bit too strict for a puzzle game. The control scheme and how it's used to rotate the pieces was clever, but having to deal with that, the time limit, and figuring out the correct order is too much.
Well I'll be damned! What a brilliant mechanic and application of the theme! Truly top tier! I unfortunately had a bug on level 3/4 where a door would no longer open after it crushed an item. I also picked up the controls unnaturally fast. I can't imagine why! Great game guys!
@someoneman Thanks for your feedback! Since you are not the only one mentioning difficulties with the limit, it seems like we were to used to the controls and level during our play testing. I guess it's always better to let others test the game.
@pen-island-games Thanks so much for the nice feedback. I can imagine, why you handled the controls so easy. I would say, your game is a polished version of ours. Yea, the doors and the destruction of objects were some last minutes addition, which we couldn't test that much. :worried:

That's a cool premise, pretty funny xD I struggled a bit especially to rotate pieces to fit through the entrances, but I think the idea itself is nice, and I like how forgiving you made the placement, basically on corner of the couch touches the required space - you are good xD maybe even a bit too forgiving maybe? :) but overall I think the game is hard enough :D
Hey @kanity, thanks for your feedback. The easy placement could be also an obstacle in the more difficult levels, because it blocks your way if you are not careful. But it is really nice that you like it - I think you are the first mentioning the placement system.

the game is quite interesting, it was fun to play, everything was done well, both the controls and the game design itself
