I have no idea what I just played, but somehow I liked it? I'm gonna have to process whatever the f*ck this was because gods....
Genuinely loved this sort of storytelling! Each character was so well-written and characterized, and the depth in terms of the ways people talk and react to your choices was... honestly surprising. Loved the little epilogue, and it works well with the theme, both in terms of gameplay and in terms of actual story and theming!
Really fun little game! Simple in design, but the extra mechanics made it fun. Very nice puzzles that felt good to finish. My main complaint would be that some colors are difficult to distinguish when you're colorblind. Maybe consider making a colorblind mode in future games, or build your games around distinct shapes instead of distinct colors?
I _loved_ this. So interesting and intriguing, and the music was amazing! The physics were a little bit janky, but that's the only complaint I have. Really, really excellent job with this game.
I loved the vibe of this game! The moment I realized you could ask characters about the items was a mind-blower. Was pretty hooked on the story up until the end!
Only real complaint is that I found a glitch that let me climb up to where I could see into the outside lol
You need to put the link to your game in, not the link to the edit page.
Edit: I was able to get into it via your Itch page, and it's pretty fun. I won first-try lol
Really nice visually, but I couldn't figure out what I was supposed to do. Was there anything outside of that first room? Also could use some sound.
I really want to like this, I think there are a lot of good ideas, but I couldn't exactly figure it out. And having to redo the tutorial every time got tedious.
Looks like the game doesn't run in Firefox, but it runs in Chrome just fine!
Very fun and chill! Though I realized at one point that my attempts to maximize my efficiency were all wrong lol.
A pretty fun Vampire Survivors-like. The mechanic meshed pretty well with the theme, I also did a "sort your inventory resident-evil style" type game. I will say that it felt a *little* visually noisy, and sometimes the mouse aiming was janky. But otherwise, it was quite good!
Level 3 pretty much just broke me and I never recovered. But this is _really_ cool conceptually! Lots of fun mind-bending shenanigans, and Level 2 was incredibly fun!
@initialposition Really glad you liked it! Yeah, if I had time, I'd probably have implemented something to save your layout on death, and probably some way to move things faster around the graph. A "teleport to middle" button or a "return block to its original position" button. Dunno, gotta think about it!
@agk Thank you so much! Yeah, I wanted to branch out into more non-linear levels after the 4 ability levels, but by the time I made the last one, there was an hour left. Maybe I'll go back to this sometime and add more levels!
The startup is a good point. The intent is for it to be a bit of time to reorganize the abilities. But in the speedrun modes, the startup doesn't even happen. Probably should have thought that part over.
Very fun game! I don't have anybody to play with at the moment, but on my own, it perfectly captured the vibe of frantically trying to move furniture with someone else.
I mean... it's not bad for your first game in Unreal, but it's also asset-flipped Tetris. The assets and their layout are aesthetically pleasing, but it would be nice to see that creativity and eye for visual quality put into something a bit more original.
I want to make it clear, though, I don't think you're a bad game dev, but try to do more than a clone next time.
Very nice for a first proper game! I liked how the difficulty ramped up for each stage, and the mechanics were simple but worked well together!
If I had to suggest anything for how to make it better, I'd say... focus on adding sounds and visual flares for actions in the game. When you touch an enemy, make particles fly off and make a sound play, that sort of thing.
Pretty nice idea, I just don't really get the platforming challenges. Great visual style though, and the atmosphere was really nice!
Decent use of the theme with the mechanic. That was an idea that I decided against. I do think the one challenge that requires timing a very limited resource got a little frustrating at times though.
This was so good, I love Draki so much now and I hope I can see them in other games! The art was adorable, the music was excellent, and I loved the little bits of backstory.
My only complaints are that a _couple_ times, Draki's dialogue was the same as the item description, and the game was a _little_ bit easy. Tanking through damage was quite easy to do with the dash. Still, really excellent work!
The .pck file is missing, so this is unplayable with the Windows .exe
I was able to open the source in Godot in version 4.1.1. So that works, at least!
