WOW, What a mood! The character movement is slow but feels very steady, every step counts in this dangerous space. It's a little detail on the movement but it makes the game feel so complete. However, I wasn't able to breath when I picked up the little shark toy on the table. But overall, Good Entry!!

Great entry. Was a bit surprised of how fast the darkness came and how little time you have to get out of it.

Shift might not be the best keys for windows users :p
Great game! Loved how the player moved and animated. Dont really have any suggestions. Very solid game. Mood hits hard. There was no audio for me? Maybe there is ?
Really nice visually, but I couldn't figure out what I was supposed to do. Was there anything outside of that first room? Also could use some sound.
I really want to like this, I think there are a lot of good ideas, but I couldn't exactly figure it out. And having to redo the tutorial every time got tedious.

Got surprised when I first picked up items. Great mood!
As already mentioned, the breathing mechanic at the start triggered sticky keys. I loved the graphics and the mood this game has. Really creative idea and I think this was a good entry.

I missed that you could place the toy back down to produce light! After that I had a lot more fun :) This is a really cool interpretation of the theme! I'm a fan of the sprite work. Some SFX & Music would go a long way, but this is still really cool!

My favorite par about this game was the mood and the visuals - very cute walk animation!
I played it till the end, that last paper is dirty :P. The look and environment of this game is it's best quality, I also liked the eyes and slowdown as a mechanic, reminds me of Call of Duty honestly when you're hurt. But it was tough to beat this game, it was confusing to understand that the toy was something to pick up and put down, and I had control issues with breathing when near the toy (which made it hard to avoid the dark even more). I know you ran out of time and other people have said it, but this game is screaming for music and sounds, that would've pushed the mood even further.
I have to confess, the gameplay had me a bit puzzled 🤔, but I was genuinely impressed by the graphics and overall design. 🎮🌆
The art is very nice and gives off that cute yet horror vibes.
I probably have no right to say this given my own game has limited audio due to time constraints, But I think sfx(ex: breathing, muffled voices when the anxiety builds up) and BGM would really elevate the mood of the game. You did a great job capturing the feeling of anxiety and panic attacks while utilizing the theme.
Hey, feels like a great start! Like @syntaxxor I couldn't figure out what to do exactly even when the fish appears - I get consumed by the darkness every time (even when I *breathe*)
Could you provide a hint? Then I go back to the game and rate it : )))
What a really interesting idea that fits perfectly to the theme. The mood and mechanics work great together. My only suggestion is to make it so you don't have to do the tutorial again when you lose, maybe a checkpoint when you get to the second room too. Well done, really innovative idea!

@aweskybear You can press space again to put down the shark! It provides light and helps you traverse places. Hope that helps :>.
Cool application of the theme - I definitely see it. Visually beautiful and I love the writing and feel.
Shift to breathe didn't respond properly all the time which was a bit of an immersion dropper.
Would have loved to get some audio in there - feel like it would have made all the difference for bringing the aesthetic together.
Well done!

I didn't really manage to get the hang of the gameplay (it helped that someone wrote that you can put down the shark to get light, but the Shift key didn't always respond) but I can see that you had a really solid idea and I liked what I saw!
Nice game! Great graphics, mood, and mechanics. I really like the way you did the graphics for the darkness, it was much cooler and more creative than just using lights, and also fit with the theme better. Also like the tutorial and how you introduced the breathing mechanic, although I do wish that after already going through it once that I could have the option to skip it. Didn't really make it very far due to the amount of time it took to get going again, but everything looked good from what I saw. Well done!

The game was true to the theme in a very interesting way. I kept dying lol. The mechanisms were really innovative although as a windows user I had to keep turning sticky keys off due to shift key.
I wasn't able to finish but the game was really good! I think having some SFX would definitely help out on selling the anxiety feeling but overall the art and feel of the game were on point, great job!
