Random asteroids certainly make space surgery challenging.
I really like your idea of managing your UI interface in the limited grid space you have. Very unique idea! It certainly added a surprising amount of pressure as you try to swap in and out UI elements, while also trying to be able to keep some visibility in the game itself to avoid the meteors. The overall atmosphere with the music and sfx were really a nice touch too. Well done!
The UI elements were cool, but I honestly found it kind of frustrating to line up the scalpel, and I couldn't figure out how to actually use it
Wow. Press F to to pay respects. Really nice entry. Loved the concept of limited space on screen with managing your "tools". Loved the style of stars. Music was great, helped get into game. Best game played so far this jam.
Great game! The art style is so cool! And the game feels really complete, with good looking ui and sound design. Theme fits really well too. Avoiding asteroids and figuring out how to play at the same time is a little frustrating. I wish it gives me more info about what each ui element does.
I'm a sucker for somber space games. The inventory screen space was an interesting take on the limited space theme and it definitely added a lot of difficulty in some of the scalpel cuts. The music and overall background mood of the game was sad but beautiful at the same time.
Great job!
I think the premise of recovering space pioneers was very cool, and I enjoyed the stylized graphics. Your take on the theme was really unique, although I would have been interested to see that play a larger role in the game. As it is, the limited space is really just an annoyance, but it would have been cool to have to design custom UIs for a specific purpose, making use of the limited screen space.
I did find the movement kind of frustrating, especially since precise control was required.
Very cool graphics!
Great Job! Really neat concept and I really like the theme. :D
super nb graphic and game play!
A very excellent game, despite being very tormented during the process of approaching astronauts haha. In addition to excellent Ui design and artistic style, the game shows outstanding attempts in gameplay. As the game progresses, it is recommended to collect more and more organs, which limits the player's vision. This creative combination of difficulty gradient with the UI placement is really great! niub!
I wish I could give this game ten stars for mood. Easily some of the best atmosphere I've seen not just in jam games but in any game. Also one of the best interpretations of the theme I've seen so far this jam. Despite some minor criticisms I have of the game such as the movement of the character, I consider this a must-play.
An innovative take on the theme. I appreciate the full-screen on play feature. I suppose some UI elements, the inventory especially, just won't fit in the central screen?
