You are back! I kept checking your page every LD to see if you posted a new game and here you are! Sadly I won't be able to rate your game this time as my team basically gave up and dissolved due to being unhappy with the theme, and I can't make game on my own as an artist who can't code. Still super happy to see you continuing tradition of pico 8 penguin games named after Adele. I hope it won't be your last one. Honestly from your honest fan :D

Adelie is back! Looking forward to playing this ^^
very fun and steep learning curve, seals spawning one away from the igloo seemed a bit unfair at times and caused all kinds on panic to get there
i unironically was just singing someone like you before playing this.... good artstyle but its tough to grasp
This is a challenging but enjoyable game, well done! :)
I really like the art of this game and the integrity of the game is very high. You are really awesome!

Love how polished this game is. Graphics and sound are really great! Very challenging for me (even in more time mode) but still very fun! Guess I have to check out the other Adelie games as there seems to be a whole fan club  :penguin:

@bigwhiteshogun: Aww sorry to hear about the team dissolving. :( I'm really happy to hear people have not only caught on to the Adelie/Adele shenanigans but have also been looking forward to them!
Really polished and very tricky, good fun

I struggled to 'get' the game for a bit, but there's a lot of really cool stuff here with surprising amounts of depth. The movement mechanics were very alien to me- I've never really played a game like it... cycycling around to shift things in directions kind of reminds me of dialing with a radial dial phone, if that makes any sense. Anyway, the aesthetic is lovely, and even if I haven't had it fully "click" I appreciate all that is here. Great job! :D

@hacksawunit: Thanks for giving it a go! Yeah the movement can be a little unintuitive at first- it might help to picture it as a mouse-controlled [15 puzzle](https://static.jam.host/raw/b19/z/5f9ae.gif) where Adelie is the empty tile. :)
@meep I think my biggest confusion was thinking that, at first, the timer was for me to decide what my single move was, rather than a window of time for me to make as many movements as I could! After that it made more sense, although controlling a game like this was still very unique and challenging to my mind- of course, not a bad thing!

Interesting game, like the principale. Was really fun once you get the hang of it, nice idea the add the timer on the bottom that really spices things up. A really good jam project. GG.
Took the time to try your other games, the idea of having a recurring character is a cool.

I need to find better tactic for this game but nice game nonetheless.
Great Game! Love the P&D-type puzzling used in a different system!

@blazejmg917: Thanks! Was hoping a fellow P&D player would stumble on and recognize this. :D
Despite me being utter trash at this game, the adorable graphics and sounds and novel idea kept me playing! Once I figured out how to manipulate the seals and penguins I got a bit better at it, but admittedly not by much lol. And of course I gotta show love to a fellow Pico 8 dev!!! Great stuff!!
Great Job! I love the cute graphics and just overall how it plays.
Great to see a new Adelie adventure! incredible to see what you've put in WHAT?? 9 HOURS??? that's incredible! pixel art is super nice, permutation puzzle is a cool gameplay (i'm super bad at it but i love it haha!).
i wonder what would happen if you don't have a timer but a certain number of moves each turn. i think it could be a little bit less stressful, but idk…
Great game with the visuals and the gameplay. Alot of polish as well. But oh boy did it make me feel stupid, stupid and slow at the same time. Even with a gaming mouse there is quite easy to get lost in the sauce at normal speed, I wouldn't dare to try to play this with a trackpad. I guess I'm just too old.

@amarokczukay: A movecount tracker would be interesting, but might be hard to compare with the randomness of the seal spawns. There is an alternate ending though based on minimum turns taken- surrounding a seal with baby penguins makes it a good seal, which prevents bad seals from spawning in those cells. Completely filling up the empty space with good seals gets this ending. :D
Thanks for letting me play this! Excellent job!
Here's the VOD on YouTube to watch the gameplay, just skip to your chapter on the video! https://youtu.be/-eCnQ8GAhN8

This is addictively tricky! It's like a "missing tile" puzzle, but fast paced! I definitely need a lot of practice to get that quick, so I appreciate the "timeless" mode. A great pico title as always.
I'm really bad in your game but I like it a lot!
Good graphics, interesting game design and theme use...
Well done! Take a candy! :candy:
Ok, I had to set it to unlimited time, and then I started having fun, because it was indeed stressing! :D I only got to turn 5. Maybe I'm not a good penguin parent...
Very cool mechanics, even though I was terrible at them. Really appreciated the infinite mode which gave some space to figure out the mechanics in a less hectic situation. The aesthetic and theming were also both very good.
