all 5! Best music and it looks like stylish
Was suuuper impressed everytime I saw a new environment, all with their own music (which are honestly very nice as well, fit the game well) and effects! and then a global ranking?! Not sure how you managed to fit all that into a game. Maybe some extra "juice" when destroying enemies could've been nice. Really good game tho congrats
Love the transitions between the environments. I didn't find the control scheme very intuitive. I think the shooting felt a little clunky. That said, overall this is great.
I'm really impressed by the level of polish on this game; animations, particles, audio, slow motion etc. are all things that are often missing from game jam projects. The game could have maybe started out a little easier; it took me a run to work out what to do, but maybe that's fine.
There were times where I was confused as to how I died, I think it was because of cars spawning right behind me. The headlights gave some indication of where cars would come from, but maybe there could be something to make it a little more obvious?
I also noticed that the enemies often just crashed by themselves; it's always funny to see that so I think you should keep it as a feature, but it would be better if it was a rarer occurrence.
Overall, a great game and I hope you keep working on it!
@josephgallear yeah some of the cars coming from behind can get you. You can move forwards so that you have more of a window to react to them when they arrive but yeah a warning symbol could be good to show spawn points
smooth, juicy and addictive with a good dificulty musics slaps too
A pretty hard game but great overall. Loved the fact that each level was a new environment and the music is sweet. Wasn't sure whether I was being stupid but didn't notice a way to avoid dead ends so unsure whether they're telegraphed in any way.
@machinescreen you can dash with RMB to jump over a 1 lane thick wall
fast paced and fun. needs a few difficulty tweaks. glad to see you on the stream check out my live review at https://www.twitch.tv/scalphamission
Really challenging! My kind of thing, the package system got a bit of getting used to but it's a clever way of learning upgrades, didn't really understand the combo system at first either, but it all came apparent! Thanks for submitting.
Thanks for hanging out in the stream and bringing your game!

I loved this game I had so much fun playing it! Face paced and entertaining. Something I think could use some work for the graphics is the black gears and black UI on the red, it was hard to read/could be a lighter color or more readable.
I loved the audio and thanks for adding a leaderboard, thats always a treat! Although would have loved to see my highest leaderboard there too instead of it being overwritten.
Great work!
I loved this game's aesthetic a ton! Only thing I'd say is either reduce or remove the slowdown when dropping off. Instead you could go for stylish text that swipes across the screen, maybe pair with an announcer. I'm not sure if I heard the reloading fx but it'd need to be louder. Additionally, I'd add an outline around the package text on the top left. The crimson forest level could also use more contrast as it was hard to see especially with the red cars.
I REALLY love the music and the game's a ton of fun, especially when it speeds up 🚗💥
That was FUN! Love the music. Such a bop~
Super dope game! Love the style and the soundtrack. Very creative implementation of the theme ^^
Super polished graphics and effects, looks great!
Cool little game. I think the hitbox for the undrivable parts of the tracks was a little too big in general. Along with that, handling was a little unwieldy which made things a little too haphazard and chaotic.
Shooting feels nice though. The sound effects and the music are bangers. Cool game
Nice rush of adrenaline!
Visually amazing, I really like the transitions and the simple but varied backgrounds! My only complaint on that front would be that the crimson forest is damn hard to keep an eye on raiders.
Music and sound effects are very nice.
The car seemed a bit too sensitive to movement, but I guess that was on purpose. The hitboxes on the scenery felt weird sometimes, at times I'd be really close to walls and it was hard to define the limits of where it was safe.
The power ups are nice, although fire rate is way more powerful than most of them! The slow down on package delivery is a very nice touch, it would be hard to guess the power up during movement, especially later on when it gets hectic!
Talking about the hectic part, it gets so so much fun later on when it gets faster and there's lots of raiders. The start of the game feels too slow after you reach farther in the game.
All in all, one of the coolest action entries I played so far! Congratulations! crash-courier.PNG
Awesome game especially given the time frame. The dead end paths were a bit harsh lol but that may be a skill issue on my part
I made it to 10# leaderboard baby!!! this is such a good game, the mechanics are really satisfying and the music/art work really well to give it a mood, I've played a bunch of games today and this is probably the best one by far, really good stuff, my only problem is that the dash isn't reliable, it's like I can't tell where I'm gonna end up which creates an uncertainty that prevents me from using it, other than that this game ROCKS!
@0x-void-x0 dash always moves two lanes over and adjusts to the center of the lane. Tends to be good to get over 1 lane walls but yeah with movement tends to struggle
Highest score was 2600. Pretty challenging game. Might be nice to slow it down a little more at the start and make the hit boxes a little more lenient so it's not so punishing, but I can see this being pretty fun with some practice.
Although couldn't achieve any bragworthy score, that game got me hooked. Wish it wasn't so punishing for losing hp (sped-up timescale upon dealing damage could be only temporary, for example). Also, some warning (UI arrows) of fast cars approaching from behind could have helped me survive longer, since they were the main reason I couldn't make it over 7000 (but hey, maybe it's just my skill issue :D). Other than that, a very good entry.
At first I was going to say that I didn't like the horizontal movement much, that I wish it moved in discrete steps, but I kept trying playing and... I kinda got used to it? Eventually I got a high score of 7222 points :) (I ended up not using the dash much, because I kept bumping into walls after using it, but that's more of a "me" problem 😅)
Jeebs! It jump-scared me when it loaded! The music is fantastic and I love the art style! It's super fast and very active, maybe even a little too much for me hehe! I think this is a great take on the theme!
Great LD entry! All: game loop, controls, graphics and music feels well polished. For my perspective for such a fast paced game, instead of having only 3 hits on the wall, better would a a nice, stylized hp bar that will slowly go down if player would drive too close to a way. That way game can push away player after it starts to hit the wall or player has time to react. Anyway, good job with the game!
Really enjoyed this game!! Gave me some old school "Spy Hunter" vibes. Loved the music and art. Controlling the car took a bit of getting used to but once it clicked I was able to hit a flow state a couple times. Thanks for bringing it to show us and play on stream!!

Super fun! Really enjoyed the feel of racing down the road while vibing to this BGM
Wow, this was a lot of fun, I love score attack games and can sit for a very long time just trying to improve my best score. The game feels very polished and juicy, both in terms of graphics and audio. I really appreciate when the controls are displayed when you start the game, this is something I want to do myself more often (but always seem to forget).
Top marks! :star:
MY SHIELD?!?! lol this was awesome 4/5
A real challenge that made me want to keep playing longer than I probably should have! A fantastic aesthetic that fit the theme really well. Music was also top notch! GG on fantastic overall experience!
Great game. I love the gameplay, This would totally fit in an Arcade. Love it
Very nicely made! The soundscape is tremendous - both music and sfx are just perfect for the setting, the mood, the game. They support the tempo and add a feeling of rush. Awesomely done
The shuffling biomes keep things interesting and aesthetics are pleasing. Twice the randomized generation kinda screwed me over, creating this long corridor without exit. Once I knew the way is closed, it was too late to back out.
Controls work well as well. Great work!
@fabula-rasa with the dead ends theres a way to jump over the wall using your dash. Dash moves two lanes in the direction you tap (with a or d) so you can jump over the wall separating the dead end from the rest of the road
pogggerrrsss
wish i could release my meat in the game but otherwise 5/5
@ategon Aaaaaa! That changes everything  Silly me!
Very solid arcade game :) had some challenge precisely controlling the car with A and D, but still manager to get better over time and enjoy myself. It seems you addressed a lot of my concerns in the post jam version too, which is great to see! Really good music by the way :)
the bgm is a banger, whole game is pro grade good job
How do I tell if I played the jam or post-jam version? I played at the itch link
@cheesepencil The itch has the jam version of the game. The post jam is currently password protected in another page as I prepare it for score chasers. If youre interested in seeing it early heres the link https://ategon.itch.io/crash-courier-score-build password: speedrun
ok thanks! Just want to make sure I rated the jam version <3 <3 <3
Music was fantastic. Art was on point. Shooting the bad guy cars was great. I think my only problem was the left right movement was a touch sensitive for me so I crashed quite a bit. However, that didn't detract from my overall game experience. I think this team did a nice job. I had fun driving my truck around.

played some more off stream #7 world is ok for now i guess
Nice game, good work!
I loved it, felt some "Jetpack Joyride" vibes for some reason – I am a big fan 👊
Audio / Graphics are really nice and I liked seeing different environments.
Whoa! This game was really intense. Maybe a little outside my comfort zone in terms of how punishing it is to control, but I respect the kind of game that it is, and I think you did a great job nailing the vibe and game feel. I really like the attention to "Last Stand" and the various environments and music in the game. The team's work really came together and it feels like a really cohesive product. Leaderboards and everything!
My only criticisms were how little onboarding guidance there is (though it's such a quick game, you can basically learn by failing) and how some deaths seemed unavoidable, detracting from the skill element. But otherwise this entry is hard to fault!
I enjoyed the music and how bad drivers the enemies were ;)
@adamcyounis Heya! As both the resident environmental artist and a longtime fan of your videos, that made my day and I really appreciate it. A lot of the deaths do seem unavoidable, but the overwhelming majority of em can actually be avoided by going over walls with the right mouse button dash, though it takes some experimentation to figure out. Thanks for playing!
Really solid arcade feeling! was the most fun game we've played in this jam so far congrats!
Very polished and fun experience! I liked that each upgrade felt pretty significant and meaningful, the spread shot felt very satisfying. The bullet-time and last stand were very cool mechanics.
There were a couple of minor things I think could be improved: - Hard to see the 'lanes' in Crimson Forest vs the other biomes. - More visual clarity on how dash works, I still wasn't sure how it worked completely after playing it 3 times.
I wonder how the gameplay changes if instead of freely moving on the X-axis, that left/right moved you between lanes instead.
This is one of my favorites I've played this jam. I gave it five or so tries, and my best was 13925. I think the balance could be adjusted a bit; I found the desert biome to be disproportionately harder than the other two, particularly with those really small gaps present in it. But overall, this is amazing---super polished and addictive. Great work.
Really challenging but cool to play! I like the concept and the execution, congrats for your entry!
