Excellent game ! The puzzles are super smart and theme fits perfectly. Huge props !
Puzzles were really fun to solve and also enjoyed the idea of the dragon and lanterns. Adds a nice twist to what would normally just be a puzzle game. Overall really nice job and well done!
Nice puzzle game, would have loved to use right mouse button instead of middle ^^. Fitting relaxing music, matching the asia theme. Overall very nice game fit the theme
Really nice twist on the classic 'snake' gameplay. The 3D aspect adds a whole new dimension (lol) to the style of game.
It would have been nice to have a prompt to rotate the camera on the second level, I didn't realise that was a mechanic and failed numerous times. However, I really liked that you paced the game (not requiring the camera turning on level one to ease the player in). Maybe some boundary type thing to show where the edge of the cube was, it wasn't a huge deal but once I thought I could wrap around the edge of a building, but it wasn't possible because it was the edge of the level.
Sounds were great, little bit of VO made all the difference. It got annoying after like level 4, but it's a gamejam so I can't really complain. I think it's better that you had something in and occasionally it made me chuckle. "Why do humans live so close together" or something along those lines.
Graphics were simple but effective, it felt nice and polished and interactions had a nice reaction to them. Maybe some animation as the head moved to a new square and the body moved along too? But that's just nickpicky polish improvements.
Nice little game, enjoyed playing it, felt very zen.
Really fun and puzzles were not trivial. The only thing I would have loved is an undo button somewhere.
This was a cool puzzle game. The theme seems loosely tied into the jam but I can see the direction. Overall I enjoyed the puzzles and thought the game in general was really chill. Nice work!
The level design was great! I got stumped a lot and had to really think before moving through the levels.
I liked it. Sometines I didn't get why you weren't able to move in some directions but since there are arrows to show you the possible directions it was fine. It felt like the more complex levels had several ways to approach them wich is a nice touch and it striked a good balance in terms of difficulty. An undo button would have been a great addition, but it was enjoyable anyway. Good job!
@hi-im-greg: Thank you for the feedback, very helpful. Will remember to add more prompts to the earlier levels in the game. We weren't able to add the boundary in time but we felt that the arrows were an okay failsafe. We were hoping to record a few more lines of voice overs to make it less repetitive but I think we didn't have enough time in the end. Thanks for playing!
@jmartinez-gamedev and @chusmimax: Dang, forgot the undo button. You're right, it would be a good QoL buff. Thanks for the feedback!
Good puzzle game. I can see how you utilized the theme by making the invisible outer boundary for each puzzle. I think some of the previous commenters didn't catch that detail that really ties your game in with the theme. That's unfortunate because I think it is a great use of the theme and a good entry. The mechanics work well, and I Long Long's voice. It adds a nice touch.
Ya s'ell jopy
Very simple and interesting concept, great job to all! The levels were designed well, and the game was very optimized for a 3D web game.
Cool game! Perfect for the theme! I didn't fail even once though, haha. But I had a good time playing it, looked really good. Especially considering the limitations of godot4 in browser. Well done! Very funny menu with the head bobbing! XD
actually, the game concept for this theme is really good. I was stuck for a while when clicking the arrow direction and after a while.. boom u can rotate the entire object with middle mouse click, it totally changed the game feel. next time i should read the controls description before playing the game.
Decent runtime on this one! It took me a while to figure out what exactly the rules were on where you could and couldn't move, but once I did, I had fun with it. The voice clips, I'm afraid, don't do it any favours. They just play too often.
Pleasant time killer. Good job! One tiny feedback point: it is sometimes hard to distinguish walkable tiles from non-walkable. I was often making a strategy just to find out that you can't go where I initially wanted.
@john-gabriel: Sorry about the voice clips, we wanted to have more but couldn't ship it in time. Thanks for the feedback.
@mnemosynevl: That would be a really good QoL feature. We wanted to make a boundary for the levels but we didn't have any time at the end. Thanks for playing.
I really enjoyed the game; it's quite simple but has its unique twist. The gameplay is quite original, in my opinion. Keep it up. I won't mention all the shortcomings and bugs in the game as they have been described above
