Like others have said the controls are pretty confusing to understand. I liked the graphics though!

Like others have said the controls are pretty confusing to understand. I liked the graphics though!
Graphics are great but i kept getting stuck so couldn't really play.
Amazing concept, I LOVE the song and love the timelapse webcam animation. I guess the fact that its just turn based tetris didnt really bother me, was just having so much fun with the concept. Awesome job :D
Awesome little puzzle game. One of the better uses of "sacrifice controls" I've seen so far!
Really nice sprite work! Reminded me a bit of actraiser. Nice little game :)
@jorgegamedev Thanks so much for the kind words!
The bonus level was originally the last level but i realized it was so incredibly difficult I had to cut it. I originally envisioned most of the game to be chaotic and difficult like that, but it ended up being more stressful than fun. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I've already got your game on my list, I'm planning to play it later tonight!
YES! I saw your blog post during the jam and really wanted to play this game but didn't find it until now. This is such a great original concept, I love it.
One of the few games I've given 5 stars so far. Great original idea and great execution. Nice job!!
Really nice game!
Graphics are great, balance is good, pretty hard though. Theres an impressive amount of mechanics for a compo game here, though I did find it hard to manage all of the abilities. Last fight was super intense. Nice work!
Incredible atmosphere, really nice work.
I think maybe the physics are not being scaled by the framerate or something? The sensitivity and speed is so extreme its kind of unplayable for me on my machine, unfortunately :(
Awesome graphics and animations. I found the hitboxes a bit difficult to figure out but honestly that is an issue I have in literally all beat-em-up games:)
I really like the atmosphere of the game. The look is cohesive and the sound effects are nice. It's got an instant immersion to it.
The controls felt great as well.
I think the only design limitation here is that the reapers can only really be dealt with by kiting at a very specific distance, since you both have the same melee range. Something about speed, hitboxes, or weapons need to be tweaked a bit, to improve that, but I'm not sure what exactly.
Overall cool concept and really nice job!
Cool idea :) It really made me want to play it with motion controls
Nice little game, though I found it to be a bit easy - maybe you could give the player slightly less health?
I like the number of upgrade choices you provided, that was a nice surprise. Could also have used some very minimal sound effects.
Nice work!
The sprites and animation look awesome, so nice job on that!
My main issue was as others have said, I found the controls so unresponsive that I had trouble really doing much at all in the game. You probably just need to interrupt and/or reset whatever action/animation is occuring whenever the player clicks. Would have liked to keep playing!
Great game design. I like the option of multiple difficulties as well.
You also did a good job of visually hinting where interesting paths might be without making it too obvious. Nice work!
Absolutely love the sprite work and the 3d stuff as well. The music is cool and the whole thing has an awesome feel to it. I mainly struggled with the controls, didn't really feel in control of my character very well and wasn't exactly sure what to do. Nice job still though
I think this is a nearly perfect game jam entry honestly. While the game itself is quite simple, the audio, graphics, and mechanics all directly support the theme and concept, which is a rare thing to pull off well in limited time. Amazing work!
Super hard! I like the sword mechanic though, and cool job on the theme.
LOVE IT. Always wanted to make a command-driven game. The keyboard sounds are a great touch!
Like others have said auto scrolling would be a really nice thing to fix. Also you should make "A:" or "cd A:" work to switch to A drive.
Nice work all around!
Simple but solid. Nice job
Loved this. Great to see more of an experience than a game in LD, its pretty rare, especially with procedural music too. Pretty much just enjoyed the ride the whole time.
Good job on both concept and execution. Graphics look nice and it was fun to play.
Its extremely hard to balance mechanics on a game jam due to time constraints, but its a bit confusing about how to play optimally, but I suppose thats part of the fun!
This kind of game really makes me wish there was a "Gameplay" or "Mechanics" rating because I'd easily give it 5 for that. The movement and shooting feel really precise, snappy, and fun.
Nice little arcade shooter that had me wanting to play again. Good work :)
Good concept and impressive amount of progression and mechanics for a compo game.
Overall I think there's not enough action going on and the game felt a bit slow, though maybe that was just at first. The attack animation needs some work too, it might be bit too slow.
Nice work overall!
Impressive first game. Nice work. So hard :O
Cute toy graphics! The perspective also looks pretty cool but makes platforming a bit hard. Would be nice to have some audio for sure though. And it wasn't clear what the penalty for the baby crying was as it seems he just cries immediately after you give him a toy but it doesn't seem to matter -- i think the mechanics needed a bit more fleshing out.
Decent little platformer, I like the colors a lot. I had trouble understanding what to do with the cats though -- I took them all to the machine in the lower left but couldn't seem to do anything beyond that.
Nice work though!
Solid game, the effect of the buildings moving with the camera looks great and is a good solution to the problem of how to have skyscrapers while still seeing the ground easily.
Awesome game, you should enable the graphics category because this deserves a high rating, it looks wonderful!
Cool idea and executed well. The graphics look really nice and are consistent, and the audio is good too. I noticed i could sort of stunlock the zombie for a long time, not sure if that was intentional, but ended up quitting after 10 mins or so because i felt like I could go forever, so perhaps the difficulty needs to be turned up a bit.
Nice game overall!
I dont really get how the sand and water items work so i only really ever built wood bridges. But the idea is really cool and original, really nice work!
The combat feels really great, genuinely challenging and fun! The intermission screens where you talk with an opponent were sort of confusing though, none of the dialog options seemed to do anything and I had to wait a couple minutes before the next fight. I could have been doing something stupid though.
Nice game overall!
I love that you made cutscenes, thats a lot of work for compo! The animations were really cute too.
As far as the game mechanic, its actually quite clever to combine a rhythm game with a shooter, but i think there are some problems that arise since the movement of the ships youre trying to shoot is not synchronized with the music. I think with a bit more attention and tweaking you could really make it work though.
Nice work!
Really fun and addicting, the fxare simple but effective, especially like how the wall lights up. Nice game!
I loved this game! The graphics are nice and consistent, its well designed and balanced. Its really challenging but not too frustrating.
My only point of small feedback is that the fruit on the trees was a bit too hard to see at first, you might want to make it stand out more either color or size wise.
Really nice job!
Addicting game, great look, really hard but i wanted to keep trying because it was so fun!
Interesting idea for a game. It actually looks quite promising, but personally I found it confusing trying to determine exactly how to catch the rabbits. At first it seemed turn based and you needed to force them into a corner, but eventually I ended up being able to catch them by moving multiple spaces and they didn't seem to move for one of them? Not exactly sure.
The gameplay concept and graphics are nice, though, good job! Unfortunately the music cutout for me in the beginning which I would have liked to hear, im on Chrome on windows 10.
Really impressive game actually! Thought it was going to be a simpler runner until i beat the first level. Also I absolutely love the aphex twin-like acid/techno track on the second screen :)
Really wonderful graphics. Needs audio of course but thats ok.
The mechanics could use a bit of balancing - the attack seems much stronger than the projectile weapon.
But solid gameplay overall having to balance between fighting and charging the portal.
Strangely addicting game, simple concept but really well excecuted! Obviously the physics can get a little bit finnicky but thats part of the charm of these types of games.
Nice color palette and mood for sure. I found the platforming controls a little difficult as i kept sticking to the edge of platforms, but overall nice work.
Best game i've seen all jam so far. A complete experience, feels like a classic, easy 5/5.
Simple concept which is executed very well, easy to understand, right level of difficulty, consistent and tasteful art presentation, what else is there to say?
Fantastic work, great game.
This is amazing work for your first jam! I'm really impressed. Simple concept but well done with the different platform types and awesome that its procedurally generated as well. I like the music too.
The main piece of feedback is that the player movement just needs to be a bit more responsive (more acceleration?) and less physics-y to feel fun i think. It would be good to feel like you have more control over the player.
Wow i really like this mechanic especially when you gain the ability to control the delay, pretty original.
Good challenge level, not too hard but still tough.
One small point of feedback, you should let your music track play consistently instead of stopping and restarting it every level -- if you finish levels quickly the player doesn't get to enjoy the full music you created!
Super cute game, simple but effective; nice job!
Great clicker! Ending was hilarious. Really good for first entry as well.
Really fascinating game concept that I don't fully understand. I think like others have said the amount of explanation and text that you have put into the post here really needs to be a preface to the game, just simply having the verbatim explanation text in game as a tutorial would be huge.
Super original though, i love it.
Nice job on this one, im really impressed with the turn based stuff, it feels like a complete game. Like you said its pretty hard, needs a bit of balance. I also couldn't figure out the pistol...does it need ammo??
Nice work overall!
LOL i was not expecting the bezos bullet hell surprise, that was a hilarious (and impossible) ending. Nice job
Nice one! As others mentioned I really appreciated the tutorial as well. Voiceovers were funny and a nice touch. I think the game was straightforward all it might need is a little arrow/compass pointing to the delivery target, which can be hard to keep track of when flying high.
Really good looking game, good execution on a solid concept. I found some difficulty with the thrusting when buying the main thrust upgrade, the ship was constantly spinning, but I probably just needed to change input modes. Nice work!
@cheesepencil working on it - will post one today hopefully!
@cheesepencil Added
Cool game, i like the spraypaint looking asteroids/nebula! For some reason the music is really quiet though??
Awesome concept! Its like a blend of puzzle bobble, araknoid and ikaruga. Great game.
I love the enemy boost mechanic and the fact that you can do it multiple times to climb, really fun! Nice job.
Really awesome game idea, its pretty fun to place ramps while you're driving, i like the dual keyboard+mouse control.
Fun game! I found it pretty addictive even though I'm really bad at it, I kept trying but couldn't get very far. I like the sprites a lot. I think a couple tweaks to the controls could make it less frustrating, mainly being able to cancel the drop or at least flap while aiming the drop. Overall nice job!
I absolutely love the character portraits in dialogs, hilarious.
Love the look of this game! It looks like a much better version of the aesthetic i was trying to go for on mine, i love the grass especially!
Simple but really solid game, love the rocket league controls, was having a lot of fun trying to go fast and make tight turns and stuff :)
Animation of the player character actually looks pretty great, i love the smooth camera movement too. Only wish is that the jump height could be controlled by the amount of time the jump button is held.
That was fun! I agree that having to return all the way to the bottom maybe gets a little tedious, but i still enjoyed playing. I loved the song too.
Good concept and well done even though its mostly leveraging AI, you used it well here :)
@rohanmoon Fair enough! You did a great job with it. I am perhaps a bit salty and undecided about AI use still :)
This game has immense potential, its extremely polished for a jam entry. The atmosphere, audio, visuals and mood are really well done, it looks *fantastic*.
The problem I have is simply that the game is not fun yet, mostly because its a bit too slow and the controls are a bit janky. I think if the mechanics were simplified a bit and the controls given some love, this could easily be a top 10 entry. Really nice work everyone involved on this project.
Nice game! I finished it. I love the look of the sonar texture, its really nice. The game would have benefitted hugely from a simple flying or sonar *ping* sound effect. But nice job overall.
Really love the look of this, nice job! The controls feel pretty good too. I was little confused on how to best optimize the cube for the ants, but it was a fun simulation to watch.
Wow, really nice visual style, especially all the pixelated particle systems. Cool concept, funny enough I did a very very simple match 3 platformer for a different theme way back. Yours is much better :P
Nice work! I love the spotlight lighting and the acapella music :)
Dude this is so hard. Great idea though
Really good concept and presentation both, especially the audio, I love it! I couldn't figure out the use of the rapid fire weapon other than killing myself.
Not enough devs try to do dynamic music/audio in games, keep it up!
Spot on aesthetic. I love the visual distortion and chrom.aberration filters. Heavy netrunner vibe too.
Might be nice to explain in the description you need to click and drag your hand rather than just clicking.
Love the concept and the mood, but yeah it was really really hard :O
Love it! Especially the look if it, nice job on that. I've always wanted to do planet-based movement like this in Unity but could never figure it out.
I noticed that reverse steering is backwards from what you'd expect.
