Really like the old screen and glitch effect! Adds a nice feeling to it.

Gameplay is fun, and the puzzles are great and challenging. Gets really challenging after a few levels. Audio is fitting perfectly.

Great game. The controls could have been better though. Example of what I would feel is better: moving left, and right is AD, and W as jump, and then Space as shooting/attack. The climbing controls is fine :-)

Thanks :-) I did have plans for a 3x1, and 2x2 sized boxes. But I had some problems with the HTML5 version, and that took some hours to get up and running :-) I did think about adding an online scoreboard aswell, but I didn't feel I had the time to try it out because of trying out a new engine :-) But definitely something I'll look into in the next game.

Nice score, it gets quite a bit fast after a few extractions :-D

Just played through 6 levels, it began to get a little hard for my brain :-D Pretty cool game, very similar to your other puzzle games, but I like it. Always liked the screen effects you got going it fits really well :-) The last few puzzles requires some brains 😄 Anyways, another simple and very puzzly game from you, and smooth aswell :-)

Nice game, like the art and the FX :-) I experienced that there were a lot of empty rooms, more than 70% of the rooms I encountered had no enemies. Also shooting diagonally would be an improvement to the shooting controls. Other than that, it is pretty well made :-)

I like the visuals, but it lacks something in the background. The game art reminds me a lot of some other game, but I just can't remember the name of it. I was a bit confused as to what the values were on the UI, such as the value that went up overtime. One of them looked like it counted the amount of sacrified people, but not sure what the others were :-D

Fantastic game, smooth and the feedback when shooting/hitting stuff, and the explosions are amazing. I would say this feels like a polished game. With some story, balancing and some more stuff, this could easily be a game on Steam or some other platform. Reminds a lot of Bindings of Isaac but more fast paced, and round based :-)

Fun game, the controls felt nice and easy. I managed to complete it all in 1 go without sacrificing any crew members, so could definitely use some improvements on the difficulty as it was too easy. The movement could be improved with some air control, so you can move in the air :-) In the second room I sacrificed the skull by going in the previous room because I thought I had to go back. So because of that I had to restart the game. Maybe you could have made it so it didn't matter where the sacrifice was made, or maybe lock the gates after entering the next room :-)

Anyways, the game are really smooth. Nice and short game :-)

Nicely done game, the art looks fantastic, great audio, and the story makes sense. I really love these types of games :-)

The combat did however feel unresponsive, not always hitting even though I was right up their face. I did read what you wrote above and I understand the decision, but it just feels weird and unresponsive :-)

The overall game however is fantastic!

Completed the game on my first playthrough :-) There's a few things that I didn't like so much though.

As far as I could see, there were no way to see what each option did before pressing it, like what resources it would add or remove. But I suppose that is intended.

The text are not the easiest to read, even though I could read the words it was not pleasant on my eyes. It does however fit the game :-)

Overall, it was pretty cool and I really liked the concept :-)

@elderdeveloper Hi there, if everything is dark except for the UI. Could you try the windows version if you don't mind. To see if it's dark there. I only know 1 that has had that problem due to having hardware acceleration off in the browser, if I remember right, but it worked when using the Windoes version :-) It might also be some bug that I don't know of :-)

@doctormozart Thanks for playing :-) Before I released to the public It was possible to upgrade doing waves, but I removed that possibility due to having plans to make a UI for the upgrading that blocked quite a lot of the screen. So I thought that would be annoying to have popping up while in a wave everytime you went near it. I eventually changed the upgrade UI to be simpler and way smaller, and after that I didn't really think about it that much :-)

Haven't experienced anything with the movement being stuck or gliding tho, not sure what could cause that to happen :-)

@andreadbx Thanks for playing, really enjoyed watching your stream :-) My initial plans were actually to have a cemetery with a bigger play area, and where the camera would follow. But I thought it would take a lot of time, so I wanted to focus on polishing the gameplay :-) As you said tho, I could have made some tiny changes to differentiate the levels, but never really thought about it :-D

@jasacken Thanks for playing and the feedback :-) I get what you mean, the AI could definitely use some improvement. It is a very basic "Follow and attack when in range" AI. The waves could definitely also use some extra life to make it more interesting, they are very similar :-)

Any suggestions as to what I could have changed about their behaviour?

@derek-volker Thanks for the feedback :-) It is indeed very repeating, I wanted to make the AI more interesting, but I'm not that good when it comes to AI.

Perhaps a dash attack could help with their behaviour. So before they would do the dash attack, they would stop and charge back their scythe and shortly after charge towards you. That would require some actual countering and make it more interesting by keeping a lookout for those that is starting to charge.

Also some way to spice up the behaviour of the bosses could be special attacks that you would also have to learn to counter :-) I got so many ideas running through my head right now.

@josh-bothun Thanks for playing, and glad you liked the atmosphere :-) Yeah the combat is very limited, I really would have liked to make it better. Kiting combat is very boring :-) I could have improved it with some abilities and AI abilities.

Also I'm not experienced when it comes to designing combat mechanics. But I will definitely start to practice combat design, because that would spice things up and make it more interesting in my future projects :-)

@lilou-cormic Thanks for playing :-) I agree with the weapon range, with the 2 first upgrades you really have low range and have to find the sweet spot for where they can hit you. However the 3rd upgrade has a long range, never got to proper balancing those weapon stats. Thanks for the feedback :-)

@call-me-nutty Thanks for playing and the amazing feedback :-) I agree with the enemy types, could definitely use some more of those. I initially had so many plans for it but didn't have the time, like usually with these jams :-D I had plans for unlocking skills for each upgrade, but yeah never got to it :-)

The boss battle mechanics is nice, gets pretty hard as they hit hard after defeating a few bosses :-)

Art looks great and the music aswell :-) What the game misses is a bit of feedback flavor, like when hitting the boss it could have a kickback and a slight flash as a hit reaction :-)

Visuals, the sounds, and the voices are awesome :-D Gorth is just too demanding, I give him everything he wants but he's never satisfied :-(

There's a few things however, sometimes it doesn't always register when pressing the jump key nor does it always register when pressing the pickup key, and maybe removing the collision for the player on the items would have been good thing, would definitely make it easier to control :-)

@gamers-blood-entertainment Feels way better now, no more getting stuck or stopped by Gorth demandings :-D I still experienced a few times where it didn't pickup the items though, had to press a few times. But definitely an improvement! :-)

Something like missing inputs could be if it is inside a FixedUpdate or anything that doesn't run as much as Update. Not sure where you check for input, just a few tips if that's the case :-)

@gamers-blood-entertainment Ah I see, OnTriggerStay is as far as I know running at physics framerate just like FixedUpdate. The input checking would be better to put in a Update. So if you could do the Input checking in a Update method then it would be better and then it would always register when pressing the button :-)

Simple game, controls felt decent. However to increase the fun factor it needs more levels and a few obstacles :-) Also, after learning the AI it became pretty easy. The AI could use some tactical improvements, like the AI didn't move the other circle sometimes even though it would have been better.

Overall it was pretty good and fits the theme :-)

Simple controls, decent graphics, the road texture didn't fit in with the rest of it though. I played through the whole song, and I sucked at it :-D I just couldn't time the middle one a lot of the times because of the car obscured the view a bit. But when you actually hit a lot of nodes perfect, your car goes sky high :-D

I got 2003 in score. I always messed up when a lot of nodes came up :-)

There should have been small penalties when you didn't hit the node at the right time :-)

Cool game :-) Played it for while and it was fun. The tank movement felt pretty good. I rammed a tree because I thought I could ram it down :-D Models looks good, and I really liked the mix of racing and "war" where invasions would come while racing

While playing I discovered 2 bugs. Sometimes while driving, the camera would rotate so it looks behind me and zooms in, and then back to normal, even though I drive forward.

Bug 2 is the turret buy menu. It made a duplicate of itself somehow, like the menu got instantiated twice. I could close it with no issues though :-)

Not sure what is causing the camera shakes, It happened to me the first few times I tested it in the browser, but stopped at some point. So not sure what is causing it, as it does not happen in the game engine. The cause of death could be because of the hunger. If your hunger meter is full, you'll start to lose health slowly :-)

My first plans was to have spine movement so the gun points at where you have the mouse, but it was chaotic, and couldn't get it to work properly. So I scratched that idea, as it would have taken too much time to get it to work, as I still hadn't made all mechanics yet at that point. So I went with something simpler :-)

I already made the space a bit bigger, but it wasn't enough I see. It would require too many changes to make it even bigger, because of the way I have made the level. If I had the time I would have done it, but I'm heading to bed now, as I have to get up early for work :-D

@anthony-dunlap My first plans were to make it so you could point in the direction to shoot, but I had a hard time to get it to work with the body of the banana. So I went with something simpler so I wouldn't use up too much time on it. The hunger filling up quick was on purpose, or else it would have made the game too easy, as there's only 10 waves. But I guess it is a little too quick I suppose :-) They became cannibalistic when I made them cannibalistic ;-)

@thygrrr I would have made better aiming, but I went with something simpler for the reasons written above :-) Good question :-D

@paul-avallone That's really weird, I haven't had any issues where the controls got stuck or lagged, or any of what you described. I would love to make a much more polished version with different levels and such. But that'll have to wait till I'm done with the current game I'm working on with a friend :-) But when I get the time, I'll probably make a more polished version and put it out to something like newgrounds or anything like it, maybe even itch.io :-D Glad you liked the dancing banana though :-D

This is really cool, I played it for a while. Got fully upgraded, and to day 4 before I quit, as I couldn't find any opponents, and there wasn't a lot to do after. But graphics looks decent, and the cars looks awesome. Great job on this :-)

A baby turned blue, I thought it was an alien so I tried to shoot it, didn't work so I gave it some milk. Zombies came through the glass and killed us all.

The game was actually fun :-D I like the graphics style, and the game is cute and terrifying at the same time :-D Great job :-)

The only thing that was a bit annoying was my mouse kept going out of the window :-)
