LD40 — The more you have, the worse it is

Heart Of Stone by holgk 2017-12-05T03:40:24Z

A cool aesthetic, but the game was too easy and kind of slow at first. Nice take on a tower defense though!

No Name Ninja Game by mooncalf 2017-12-07T20:05:58Z

Game mechanic is pretty innovative! Tons of fun to play.

Air Pressure by zgragselus 2017-12-05T04:03:16Z

Great use of the theme! Liked how the difficulty came from how fast I could control the airports.

Work Master by asixjin 2017-12-06T15:47:46Z

Work assignments increase too fast when fighting viruses in my opinion. Felt like managing the two was kind of useless. Nifty game though.

Maurim: Unepic thief by bakudas 2017-12-05T03:32:51Z

Really good pixel art! Pretty fun too

The Darkest Light by zblah 2017-12-07T15:04:07Z

Good mood! The mechanic was pretty sweet too.

Trial of the Reaper by Cliff Lee CL 2017-12-07T03:56:47Z

Fun game. The tempo of the attacks feels very nice. One thing I will say though is that the Love meter has to have more pronounced effects. It didn't really come into play with me as there were always people to slice around.

A cozy winter walk by tinyworlds 2017-12-05T15:36:12Z

Aesthetic was really enjoyable. Game was relaxing.

Infirmiter by poetryoffear 2017-12-05T03:57:19Z

Controls took some getting used too, but it ended up a cool, challenging game.

The Will of the Wisps by adsilcott 2017-12-06T04:01:15Z

I love how the music changes shifts when different elements are in play. Really good design. I recommend editing some of the geometry so it is harder to get stuck on.

PullPals by eric-lathrop 2017-12-06T15:39:44Z

Fun game! Reminds me of Snipperclips a bit. I was able to drag the character around with only one arm so look into that. Cool otherwise.

CHRISTMAS PRIME by Greet 2017-12-05T15:24:56Z

Easy to play. Would be good if you could view the present information while you are holding it.

Power Surge by Mettra 2017-12-05T04:53:00Z

Spent the most time on this game out of all that I've rated so far. It is pretty fun! Graphics and audio are great. One issue I have is that it is hard to remove upgrades. Maybe right clicking on one will get rid of it instead of dragging it out of the ui?

Dungeon Boy! by nardandas 2017-12-05T15:13:34Z

Like everyone is saying, the lack of feedback during combat hurts. Interesting dungeon crawler otherwise.

Horny Bunny by Thomas FUentes 2017-12-05T04:10:09Z

Hilarious! Loved the sprites and all the little bunnies. Couldn't speed through levels like I usually do in platformers.

Amitosis by Pixel Maniacs 2017-12-06T15:55:02Z

Controls took some getting used to, but it ended up being a fun little arena game.

Venny is in Trouble by djosef 2017-12-05T15:20:08Z

Graphics are clean and well made. Had a problem with the HTML5 version where it wasn't letting me scroll down so I couldn't see part of the game.

Quantum's Rick by cortexdeveloper 2017-12-05T05:23:51Z

Cool concept. I beat it first try the first couple of times, but now I just can't haha. Great polish!

Mutation Situation by Don Fouts 2017-12-05T16:00:03Z

Like everyone is saying it is pretty easy to escape outside the map. Fun too.

Captain Capsize by Lance Krasniqi 2017-12-05T16:20:37Z

Art style is great, but the controls left me frustrated. Grabbing items from the water was weird. Great implementation of the theme though!

Rattendorf by NoAim91 2017-12-05T16:34:39Z

Really good art and audio. Was kind of confusing at first, but I guess that just comes with these types of games.

10 inches or less by Almost Panda Studio 2017-12-05T15:07:24Z

Unique puzzle game! Level design is on point and was surprised how well the idea worked

Sugarplum Summit by Michael Clavell 2017-12-05T03:42:35Z

@tan-kwong-yee: Thank you!

@ random anonymous: Good feedback, I'll have to re-balance it a bit :)

Sugarplum Summit by Michael Clavell 2017-12-05T12:40:23Z

@harark Thanks for the feedback! I'll pass that along to our artist and see what he thinks

Sugarplum Summit by Michael Clavell 2017-12-05T17:29:52Z

@mads try shooting its eyes ;)

Sugarplum Summit by Michael Clavell 2017-12-05T23:45:29Z

Thank you for the feedback everyone :)

@cameronjsamuels We have the game over screen bug fixed, but it is in version 1.1 which isn't available for rating. And I'll pass your sound effect suggestion onto our audio guy.

C.Y.B.E.R.R.A.C.E. by Mehozavr 2017-12-05T03:54:50Z

Really liked the audio and general mood. Friend and I had some fun with it.

IntenSEAty by Casper 2017-12-05T15:30:55Z

Very good art! I would recommend increasing the contrast on the enemy bullets though. It is kind of hard to see them.

Free to Play by Hooraygil 2017-12-05T15:41:51Z

Ad mechanic was really unique. Don't know if it is a bug or not, but on web I couldn't close the boots ad and had to drag it off screen.

Catch the bomb by Poroh 2017-12-06T03:22:53Z

Good art style and good game. Was quite confusing at the start, and I had to come back to the this page a couple times to reread the description. A menu for descriptions would help.

Fatal nightmare by imod 2017-12-05T16:14:30Z

Art is beautiful and I like the ending. Though I kept getting caught on geometry.

Running With Scissors by Daze 2017-12-06T00:07:52Z

Amazing game! The game froze on me with 23/25 on level 4, but that may just be cause I was playing on web. One of my favorites this jam!

Nested Dungeon by ithasgrass 2017-12-06T14:21:00Z

Gameplay is definitely interesting and fun. I would make the weapons hit with more impact. Good job!

BaBaDungeon by PanPan 2017-12-07T20:13:32Z

Took some time to get how to beat the first wave. Additional polishing and balance would do it good.

Buried by Books by PaperbackGorilla 2017-12-05T03:49:44Z

Really liked how the levels changed while I was still "in" the same room.

Mortal Komba by kokirisandfriends 2017-12-05T19:26:45Z

Cute artwork and amazing polish!

Anime was a Mistake by Bobo Games 2017-12-05T04:32:16Z

Pretty funny and a great ideas! Though picking up an object near a hiding place can get buggy, and I kept getting caught on the geometry.

LD41 — Combine 2 Incompatible Genres

discardagain by blackoptics8 2018-04-24T20:16:25Z

Artstyle is great. Like everyone else is saying, the AI seems unfair. It also took a bit to figure out what the circle cards did.

Idle Hatcher by wrexialmt 2018-04-28T19:08:32Z

Music was nice and relaxing, but the clicks didn't seem to always line up with the song. Adding more feedback and you got a good mix of genres here.

Joe Chef by Aumbra 2018-04-30T19:44:44Z

A nice feeling third person fighter! The gameplay is tight, though I felt spamming heavy attacks was the best way to go. Pretty funny too!

MULLIGUN by those-30-ninjas 2018-04-24T04:52:47Z

A really cool use of the theme. Fun game, but kind of held back by the mouse sensitivity being too high for my taste. Audio was pretty good too.

Someone Is Wrong On The Internet by huminaboz 2018-04-28T19:24:52Z

It got really hectic at the end there. Well polished and a great aesthetic. Good job!

Grid Gunner by SuperTibbles 2018-04-24T21:43:21Z

Fantastic use of the theme. It all meshes really well together. Great job!

VRn't by Michael Clavell 2018-04-30T15:38:59Z

@flukeshot Hey, I just used FL Studio to compose. The main soundfont I used was SGM 2.01, it has a lot of nice instruments in it. For the gameplay track I downloaded a Taiko Drum vst and told our artist to yell ninja sounds into a microphone.

Turn Around - When turn-based rules meets their opposite ! by ValBoise 2018-04-24T20:33:01Z

The graphics are very aesthetic and the game played well. One thing that was weird for me were the controls. It was a little hard to control with the perspective.
