Interesting approach. Nifty tune and sound.

What are the controls? I couldn't seem to do anything - tried clicking and various keys...

mercerbox 2017-12-05 04:53

Had a hard time getting it to work at first, saw your message, was clicking on the game to get input, didn't know you meant the gray frame around it

asixjin 2017-12-05 04:57

Yeah I am having some issues with the game losing focus. You'll need to click the gray around around the game to give it focus. Then the controls should work.

Lime wire simulator

Controls could be explained a bit better, I had hard time getting into it. Some tasks didn't want to complete for me, so perhaps I still missed something? Otherwise, an interesting game concept that makes you stressed out as hell.

Good game, the concept is fun but works well and the graphics are good. However the browser version wasn't working for me. (I use the last Firefox)

Anyway, good job!

I get that I'm supposed to split my time between the two, but because clicking A is randomly more or less effective and the blue sometimes increases, I have no idea what percentage of my time I'm supposed to assign to each. Losing progress is really frustrating.

Stanley at work! =) I found my own way to have fun - trying to hit keys in the beat of a background tune. But I didn't master it right to the end. I think, the work bar decreases too fast when dealing with viruses.

maybe need a little tutorial in the game screen, but nice work. i love the graphics!

asixjin 2017-12-06 15:27

Loving the feedback! I always seem to run out of time and forget to put instructions in-game.

michael-clavell 2017-12-06 15:47

Work assignments increase too fast when fighting viruses in my opinion. Felt like managing the two was kind of useless. Nifty game though.

Nice graphics and audio. But could use more gameplay.

I am a little at a loss, as I had a hard time figuring out what to do. After a minute of reading the instructions on the webpage in here in the comments, but I couldn't figure out what to do with the computer on the right. A (brief) tutorial and overview of controls would have helped a lot. Right now I am fighting a progress bar and that's not exciting to me as a player.

Once the game ends, clicking [OK] doesn't restart the game. If a player gets frustrated and is wondering whether they want to try it again, having an easy reset will greatly increase the chance they' will.

The art looks pretty cute, a nicely classic style. I Would have opted to do the progress bar area in the same style/palette though. The music fits the visuals and while repetitive it doesn't get on my nerves.

Also, I am not sure what I do wrong sometimes, but I click the correct key to match the pointing hand, yet it still gives the error sound and resets. I am using the web client on Firefox.

Cute game. I wasn't able to get my work queue down under 60% or so :(.

I like the look, and audio is solid.

Having to click the small gray border before any input is accepted (even after clicking an earlier OK button!) is really bad, took me quite a while to figure out how even get the game activated and accepting input!

spacewarp 2017-12-10 13:58

Potentially rather interesting but seems to have trouble with input. Keyboard inputs seemed to randomly stop being accepted sometimes after a while and after a reload it didn't accept input at all.

Quick time events and button mashing do not a game make, a lame dexterity challenge at best.

My favorite part: the rad, catchy tune. For such a short loop it sure does convey the sense of urgency and doesn't even get that annoying (listening to it right now!) If only the sound effects weren't so drab.

The graphics are fine. A bewildered, panicking office worker running between the work stations would have elevated not only the visuals, but the mood too.

Keep the presentation quality, focus on design and you'll have a winner! This, not so much.
