The controls are tricky in a fun way. I like the visual style. I'd like to see some more feedback when you eat a treat.

Excellent music and art. Gameplay-wise I didn't really have a reason to stop spamming packages, or move left/right.
I don't really know what I was supposed to be doing, but I had fun making a monster lady by enlarging the same feature until I ran out of money.
This game is badass! Favorite thing I've played so far. Driving the carpet around is maddening, but the frustration is probably fine. Graphics, sound, style, etc are great.
The two main problems I had were: 1) when jumping, I sometimes get stuck, mostly on the stairs. 2) when I beat it and got to the end, I was spamming the "x" key and "jump", and I skipped right past the "you win" screen.
I had no idea how to use the inventory, or what the tablet things did. I don't have a mouse wheel, and the left part of the instructions were cut off.
Really nice tree generator. I love the inky style!
I really liked the boss at the end of the first level.
The movement was too loose and it was hard to move the ship where I wanted to. The player's bullets were too small, and there wasn't a reason to stop shooting, so I just held down the button.
The music was really good! I can't figure out what the missles were for, they just pass through the aliens. Needs WASD controls, in addition to arrows.
Pretty solid first Ludum Dare game! The controls were responsive, the graphics and sounds were cute and it was fun to try to get further. I'd like to see a way to restart with just the keyboard so I don't have to keep grabbing the mouse when I die.
I liked the writing and the music. The way the music changed as it progressed was cool. The UI could use more cues about what things I should click on.
