Arg ! loose my wikipedia loot !!! my knowledge an happiness are gone T.T
nice idea for a game! although i have no idea how to put items into the inventory. if i have an item i can't switch to the other screen to drop it. so every time i do it, it's done on pure luck.
I had no idea how to use the inventory, or what the tablet things did. I don't have a mouse wheel, and the left part of the instructions were cut off.
Still a better game then star wars battlefront 2. I really liked the art in this game. However I had no idea how to switch screens with an item. So i just dropped it. It sometimes made it into my inventory.
How do you put items in your inventory? I tried for several minutes, but to no avail. Maybe you should update the description explaining this.
Hi and thanks all for your feedback!
I'll make a post-LD version of the game soon, with better balancing, bugfix, music volume and with all the improvements working. Also more hints to help understand this unusual inventory.
To make sure something will drop into the inventory, drop it on the slide that links the main platform with the inventory bag :)
I still haven't found the bug that causes the loot's texture to disappear on WebGL version, I'll upload a new version afterwards. Also sorry again for making a game that doesn't work with touchpads haha. I'll work on alternate controls after the more pressing bugs & features are implemented.
ps: Linux and Mac versions are untested, if you do test these please tell me if you see any bugs !
EA-games simulator (aka Look box simulator) works really well! I had more fun than in Battlefront 2. Anyways I absolutely love this as sarcastic reaction to state of some companies in game business and keep up the good work!
I had fun for quite some time!
Very nice looking game, and the music is super catchy! One issue... how do I exit the program?
The game is a really fun idea and awesome to incorporate an important topic about video games today. I like that it doesn't actually condemn or praise getting loot boxes, which is pretty nice...or at least felt like it to me since I was having a lot of fun just playing around with all the boxes.
The game did feel a little too overwhelming at first with the three different screens and trying to understand what was happening in each, but a lot of that seemed taken care of in the post LD version. For me personally, the theme didn't impact me as much since the game only got more fun as I got more boxes. My reaction was basically, "YEAH, MORE BOXES!"
Now, depending on the route you want to take this, you can easily make this game sway more in one message than the other. I imagine if you remove the top screen and make it a pop up window in the main one to be more obnoxious, then it can easily be an anti loot crate game. You can also have the the money button start flashing or something once you are out of funds to encourage people to buy. On the other side of the spectrum, you can make it so the game gets all celebratory whenever you pull something rare and exciting, or more decorative as you play more and more.
Overall, has a lot of potential and fun!
As a comment on the rising amounts of lootboxes in games, I find this game very funny. However, the actual gameplay itself was not that fun. It was hard to tell what the cards actually did, and I just ended up blindly dragging all of them into my inventory because only the highest powerup counts. The money is so small as to be almost impossible to collect, and you will probably never run out of loot boxes due to the ease at which you can buy them with fake real money. Perhaps this is some sort of cookie-clicker-esque game, but it is still rather tedious to build up power, xp, gold etc for seemingly no reward and no end.
Nice use of the theme and funny concept but man, the physics and controls are so wonky. I accidentally threw lootboxes and items off the stage so many times while trying to get used to the controls. Like others have said, having to click to get to the bottom screen with click & drag as the only way to move items is super awkward, keyboard controls for switching screens would probably help a lot here (or maybe just a more obvious bucket to put items in). Also for some reason it took me a really long time to notice the upper screen, which has most of the important gameplay elements in it. Clicking on the tiny coins was pretty annoying too, having bigger hitboxes for them would probably help a lot. I don't know how to explain this but having to read the items to figure out if I should keep them just did not feel good - it felt like a distraction from the rest of the game, like I was missing out on things happening somewhere else, even if there wasn't any real time pressure in the game. Reminded me of item comparison in games like Diablo, which I find to be pretty tedious and unfun. Despite all this the core concept is fairly solid, with some control/gamefeel fixes this could be pretty cool. Keep it up!
My reaction can be summed up as 'Ugh, another parody of the loot-box craze in AAA games' and it feels just as fun as loot boxes do in most games.
Fun game! I liked the mechanic of finding a rare item and watching your XP/second skyrocket. The transparency on %chance drops and gold values was nice too. Getting things into the grinder was tedious though. But I really enjoyed it, a nice take on the clicker genre.

Not really sure what this has to do with the theme, but quite a good entry overall.
An excellent simulator that conveys the full thrill of opening loot boxes! But to be honest, it is much more pleasant to receive real prizes. I open mystical boxes here - [https://drakemall.com/boxes/xbox-box](https://drakemall.com/boxes/xbox-box) and I really like this process. I have already received a small prize, and soon I hope for great luck.
Gold and Silver coins' values are swapped
