More people need to be playing this one. A ton of fun. And man did it feel SMOOTH.

Really nice vibes form this one! I can see the love you put into the foliage and the trees, it really shows. I'm always impressed when someone can really set a nice mood and atmosphere without any music. Great job with this one!

Nice floating island vibe! The art style reminds be a bit of the Mario 64 and the time trial like racing Koopa. Good one!

the3rdhunter 2023-05-03 02:40

Great work! I like the vibe on this game. It felt really good chucking those letters into the mailboxes. But the best was using the orb and launching between islands. The first time I landed a jump from one island to the next was a rush. Even though I couldn't manage 50 in under 3 min, I didn't care. I just loved launching between the islands while hopped up on absorbed leaf power! Haha! Awesome work!

cheesepencil 2023-05-03 02:46

great mood and tight gameplay loop it was fun <3

prachi 2023-05-03 02:47

The running and throwing felt so good. Amazing job, its a fantastic game!

rakowu 2023-05-03 05:54

Great, even with tutorial. I find the brief throw physics very successful. With some transitions from the bridge to the island you had to be careful not to fall and the control so instant is good but with a slight transition in the rotation you would have more time to react. I think the speed is good, otherwise you would be sluggish at the distance to the islands. I also think it's great that you can unlock a new ability (Orb). Unfortunately I could only distribute 22 letters xD

Hey, this was super fun, thanks for letting me play this on stream, you can find your timestamp on this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o1jjtp0dcDg

Hello Minism, Thanks for submitting your game to my stream! It was really cute and I enjoyed the floating island vibes. Great work :D Would love to see the UI bubble as a different color so it doesn't collide with the grass. The bridge was also sticking up through the grass mesh making it a bit hard to get onto right away/interupting game pace. The sound effect were very pleasent and nice to listen to. Thanks for sharing :D

I was just going to write about how relaxing the athmosphere and running around far removed from the whole world in this quasi-silence when I was told to do all that in 03:00 minutes with 50 letters XD Needless to say, I haven't reached he record yet but am willing to come back to try again. The for me had no performance issues, the animations and controlling the character felt really responsive and comfortable.

riley9 2023-05-04 19:01

i looove the movement in this one and throwing the letters in to the letterboxes is absoluetly satisfying! i didn't manage to deliver 50 letters within 3 minutes but that's alright! and a skyworld is always neat :3

maxi1324 2023-05-05 19:57

i like the setting of the game that it is in the air on islands

ruddiculous 2023-05-06 03:21

This game is pretty clean. I appreciate the simplicity of the mechanic with the focus on doing it quickly in a fun way. Being able to "shoot" the mail in is a nice touch to keep the pace up! Overall i think you do a good job of keeping speed in the game to make it engaging. I wish the double jump was a bit more reliable to get me in between islands, the long treks are definitely the slowest part of the game. I was almost imagining a "glider" to get back from high up places too! Sometimes i'd get stuck jumping in between little buildings or the camera would get all funky in there, the little jutting ledges made some traversal annoyances. But overall it's an entertaining put together experience! great work, keep jammin'!

This is a great game! I really love the cute animations of the main character while running, and the high-speed movement also makes the game more fast-paced (I'm glad I don't have to constantly hold down the Shift key like in other games). Additionally, the game has many unique mechanics that set it apart from others. Thank you to the developers for bringing us such an excellent game!

island-jam-2-group-3 2023-05-06 12:11

Loved the mood and atmosphere on this one! Congrats!

hengen 2023-05-15 17:24

man the controllers and animation are really solid! Everything feels perfect (running and gunning mail is cool as hell). Most people don't make a proper tutorial, so i appreciate it when people do! It really makes the game feel polished and finished! which is top tier! I'd actually say that is this games greatest strength overall, the amount of polish and juice in general!

If i had to nitpick about something, it would be that i think some music would go a long way! some funky tunes would really uplift the mood. The ocean sounds are a nice and all, but they didn't really do it for me. Other than that i really enjoyed everything this game had to offer!

Great job dude!

gamescodedogs 2023-05-18 08:17

Concept looks good! Is it any chance to see a full HTML5 version with grass?

pavel-tararin 2023-05-18 15:41

An interesting idea and a pleasant environment. I liked it. Thanks for the intuitive logic of the game - I took the mail and ran to the glowing rays. There are obvious problems with the level design. There are not enough crossings between different islands. I was very pleased with the different sound of moving on different surfaces. The sound of the wind instead of music is very suitable for the idea of traveling - thank you for that! A very terrible fall - I experienced a fear of heights every time. Good job!

max-amaden 2023-05-18 23:12

I LOVED this!! I'm always impressed when someone does a solid, open 3D environment in a Ludum Dare entry. I was certainly not disappointed! I loved wandering about to deliver the letters, and I found myself exploring a lot more than I thought I would. You made quite a captivating little setting for this project

Keep up the awesome work, I'm looking forward to what you make next! Good luck!!
