I love the Downwell style graphics! Great job!
This game is really awesome. The art is great, and the ambience by the music is great.
The flashlight (probably not but I'm not sure what to call it) mechanic is pretty interesting too, though I found I got a bit motion sick after playing it for a while.
All in all a very good game! Thumbs up for a work well done!
Cool atmosphere! I really liked the puzzles. Great game!
Very surreal and well-made, although I don't see how it fits the theme.
This game is amazing! I love the atmoshpere!
Amazing graphics/mood/audio coming together in an excellent horror package, but I just wasn't finding it fun to play. I'm not sure if I was missing something obvious, but the heavily restricted vision which added so much to the horror theme meant that if there was any puzzling I wasn't able to really notice it. I just went around hitting the pillars until the path seemed unlocked.
This. Is. Awesome! The graphics are amazing, the atmosphere and sounds are too. If it fit the theme more this one could be a winner!
The art style and level work is really good. The flashlight felt a little awkward at first but other than that really good! The puzzles were nice too.
Mood is off the charts. I need to go back and adjust my mood rating on other games :P
big fiver on the mood my guy
5 stars for mood on this one, well done!
not a bad little game, my character got hung up on coliders at some places.
I really like the way you've done fog of war in this game and the graphics look amazing. I feel like a nice, dark song in the background would really set the mood for this game but overall it's very well done!
I really like the ambiance of this! You didn't open with jumpscares, which is always appreciated. My only complain is the mouse makes the camera move too fast. It looks cool, but in practice it makes me a lil' dizzy.
great job with the mood and graphics! The flashlight is a little too restrictive for my taste. I think it's a good mechanic for a horror game but maybe with soft edges and wider vision range it wouldn't feel a bit awkward.
Graphics, mood, audio, and character designs are fantastic! The puzzles were a bit confusing, as sometimes toggling a switch to red would make some blocks grey, but otherwise it was fun.
I love the art and especially the sound design! I can learn a lot from this game.
That was. Hand's down. The spookiest game I've played in a very long time. I thoroughly enjoyed the puzzle elements because they weren't frustrating but were just the right amount of difficulty. The audio, graphics and mood were incredible and I can't wait to see more of your work someday :D
I totally loved the mood and the aesthetics of your game. The artstyle reminds me Downell which is great and I really enjoyed the puzzles, keep up the good work.
Very cool atmosphere. I like the puzzles, though toward the end it got a little bit tedious. Fun game, good job!
Art style is great! Very interesting game and is very challenging too. Good job!
Please, take a look at my game too: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/confessional
Nice aesthetic. Freaky mood. Great music. Well done ++
Finally played it! Was a bit confused at first, but once I realised what the pillars did and that the big boxes were checkpoints it started feeling a lot better. Just wish I'd had a life meter!
The death sound made me jump at least one metre into the air at least twice before I had to turn the volume down so you did get a jump scare out of me in addition to the more sophisticated horror induced by the limited range of vision. :p
Overall good fun! I like puzzling. I actually felt I fared better against the final boss than the small enemies thanks to the things I was able to cover behind. Not sure if I was even hit once by the boss actually, haha. Introduced some more strategy to the combat, which was great!
As an aside, I managed to move away while I was striking one of the level-changing pillars, inducing this bug where I got stuck and had to restart:
