I could listen to that keyboard clacking sound effect over and over again. I found myself yearning for tab completion and a terminal that scrolls ;)
Haha, great job! Loved the concept, had a ton of fun navigating around the computer and reading the little labels you put over everything. Great attention to detail.

Needs tab completion, and somewhat improved controls. I needed the walkthrough because your terminal isn't CMD-compatible. You use `cd c`, whereas dos uses `C:`. Also, lowercasing the user input would have prevented annoyances with the drive letters.
Besides that, it has a fun theme. Could use some music.
Great game, to bad there is no automatic scroll function.

Wow, this game is awesome, very very well made. I had a lot of fun exploring this in-game pc, and it had a lot of cool details. 10/10

@nander Yes, some things are different and I know that's kinda annoying, I literally run out of time on any improvements.
@thegamedev I'm sorry with that, I wanted to implement auto scroll but it just didn't want to work. I strongly recommend using 'cls' very often to make screen clear.
@artbohr , @matthew-roelle I'm glad you liked it.
Thank you all for opinions.
You had me at "GAME REQUIRES SOME KNOWLEDGE ON CMD". I found it hard to live without `ls` and `cat`, but I survived.
I didn't finish the game - but I spent a long time playing it: it's fun!
Yeah, echo ls and changing drive letters. Nice job though, and great idea.

Really intriguing concept! I did have to look at the walk through because I had no idea what to do with the first game. But I definitely enjoyed looking around the computer and messing with stuff. Also, minor annoyance, but I find I sometimes type too fast for the game to register all my keystrokes.
LOVE IT. Always wanted to make a command-driven game. The keyboard sounds are a great touch!
Like others have said auto scrolling would be a really nice thing to fix. Also you should make "A:" or "cd A:" work to switch to A drive.
Nice work all around!

@mrspeaker, @deathbysnail ah, I forgot about Linux :penguin: :sweat_smile:

Wow, I didn't know that, thanks for info.
@josh-bothun Thank you :)
I appreciate your feedback.

@exewin
- i tried **`format C:/`** - it didn't work - i was dissapointed... - i tried **`nc`** - it didn't work - now i was pissed - then i tired **`carma.exe`** - didin't work - i cried at this moment ;(
But honestly - this game is hell of a work! **Looks fantastic, feels fantastic and it's so 90's!!** One thing that you can improve over this game - please add this **TURBO button** and LCD that will display **133MHz**!
**MOM PLEASE, MOM PLEEEEASE!** :)

Btw - isn't 2'nd game broken? Virus always want's me to delete 5 files no matter what i do...

@bartosz The system is in early development stage and also player uses outdated version, that's why it's missing so many things. xD
Thanks for playing :slight_smile:

@bartosz I checked it, it works. You must touch as many fields as you can. Doing it normal way (without touching one field) should cost you 4 files. However, virus will say that you could do better, because there is a catch in rules which allows you to touch all 17 fields and lose only 3 files. You can check it in Walkthrough (in the links section).
I'm also planning to make a video for youtube and show all things.
EDIT: Making video was faster and easier than I though - it's below preview images. You can check 2nd game, it's around 7:46.
Great concept I loved the game. One thing that would be nice is if you could go back to the rules menu for the first game because I didn't understand what I was doing until I restarted and read the rules more thoroughly.

Awesome idea for a game! I wish the mini games would be in ascii too so that it made more sense, but it was a great feel nonetheless! Well done!

@cannedtuna Yeah, I noticed that and did it properly on 2nd game, but I run out of time to change it on 1st.
@andrea Actually, many things in my game are complete nonsense :sweat_smile:
Thanks for feedback :)
That's an intriguing but damn public narrowing one.
Awesome core mechanics, graphics and typing sounds.
Good job!
neat mood which reminds me my first old PC - awesome idea and good minimalist aesthetic. I would like an auto scrolling down on screen - it is a little bit annoying to scroll. However you did a great entry ++
