I really like the vibe, but hate controls so much >_<

i would like to see jump with the up key and actions on the left hand. the game looks pretty good.
Great graphics, fun game, I died. I also send my anthropomorphic fox to a watery grave when all the pipes in my house burst
What a cool game! I'm super impressed with the file size. I got 70200! I was really impressed with how smoothly it controlled. There's very little jank in a game smaller than many, many janky games. Sometimes it was difficult to grab onto ladders, but overall, very good.
@jcmonkey Putting jump on up arrow would collide with grabbing ladders, unfortunately. I did consider it, but ran into issues with that.
Very impressive work here on 16kb! It was a funny experience and it fits on a QR-Code?! NICE WORK
Cool concept and nice graphics! I like the Tails from Sonic vibe to the character. Nice work!
This looks very nice, the controls are good, it's a solid platformer with a good twist coming from the theme. I wish I could see which computers are already activated on the map, that would help to orierent somwhat as it is easy to forget due to stress from the rising water.
Good job!
Really enjoyed this. And I'm impressed with the file size. The overall look was great, everything fit well and the water effect looks great. The constant need to cycle around is a good mechanic, giving the player reason to fix pipes after turning on the PCs under water.
Some music would be nice.
Nice game, visual look like a Sonic. Music would make this game even better.
But with my crooked hands it's not very convenient to jump on "z" button)
Enjoyable game. One of the best platformers that I've played on this edition (trust me, there are not that many good ones)!
Had fun, but I really disliked the controls. Played cross-handed. Very well done, though
@bixarrio Are you using wasd or arrow keys? wasd is not intended for this game, it's just a remnant of when this was used for a different game.
Nice game, the movement feels really solid and smooth, kinda reminds me of a combo of mario and sonic.
I've been meaning to jump into rust one of these days, sounds fun!
@selicre Oh, my bad. Didn't realize the arrow keys would work. Great job anyway.
I liked the graphics and the frantic feel of the game as things started spiraling out of control. I also thought that needing the water to be high in order to escape made a nice balance between trying to go lower to fix the pipes and staying near the top to let you escape. The minimap was also a really nice touch!
Thanks for submitting your game for me to play on my stream!

This was pretty cute! Once I learned the mechanics of the different chips and things to interact with, I got into it. The art was superb, especially the underwater effect on the tiles. I'm curious what parts the two of you worked on!
The sound design could have added more, like different sounds when you are underwater. I personally don't think the sound effects matched the style of the game as well as they could, but that could just be my preference :)
@hawkin Unfortunately, the sound effects were more of an afterthought, and this chiptune synth was the only thing I had laying around. Perhaps sometime in the future I'll update the game with an FM synth.
Both of us more or less split the efforts. Ada did some of the code code, and I did all of the art and also some of the code.
@selicre Fair enough :) I know how that is! Some sound is probably better than no sound. And you had a lot going on visually. I really have to state again that all the little details were lovely.
Impressed by the whole game and its size(!), and very curious to see the "behind the scenes" of all that. Congrats!!!
really nice solid entry! The mood was good as it felt like a genuine retro game. I liked the way that the water filling unlocked certain areas of the map, and having multiple of the same coloured keys gave people choices to make when unlocking sections. It wasn't intuitive to me that I could jump higher when moving full speed, so would be good to find a way to help players learn that somehow.
Very cute game! I had some trouble locating blue key cards but still really enjoyed the story and gameplay.

Lovely game! Quite stressful! Artwork is nice. How is this only 16kb? Sorry you didn't get to see me play this on stream. I missed it while you were around :( I'll try to clip my play of it and post it for you. Here's the video of my attempt at your game https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1453168818
