hey
Nice little game. A little tutorial could have helped, but I figure it out. It was pleasant to deliver pizza, but have to re-do the same path over and over is tedious. A good point is that the return by the side was easy. Perhaps the main character could be more dynamic (Jump/Fall faster). The music was nice. Good job.
Thanks! don't worry, I intend to go over the level in a future update. I originally wanted there to be two towers to climb, for example. I'll add some things to spice up the climb in the "MAKE IT GOOD" update
That was fun! I agree that having to return all the way to the bottom maybe gets a little tedious, but i still enjoyed playing. I loved the song too.
I had a lot of fun playing this game! However, I did have some difficulty understanding the controls, and I think a tutorial would be really helpful. Also, I loved the part where the people were shouting "Pizza!" - it was hilarious.
Nice work! IMHO a more targeted delivery would be more interesting to me, like taking three pizzas and sending you to some windows, etc.
The beginning section was enough of a tutorial. It just needed the double-jump ability to be more explicit (such as in-game text). I liked the pizza=health mechanic. Good job!
music rocked and the gameplay was fun!
Took a minute to figure out that I needed to pick up the pizzas at the bottom, but once I did I enjoyed the pizza slices as health mechanic.
YES! more hand drawn art!
I played this for a while, I liked the responsive controls. I played it for about 10 minutes as a pure platformer before I realized I was supposed to be delivering pizza lol. A few small things could go a long way here, such as making the white projectiles not so fast/moving through walls (very frustrating to jump and get hit by a projectile that just appeared on screen), and making the gaps in the floor look more accurate to their actual hitbox. Good game name!
I liked the effort put in it, smells like a fresh view and very homemade. Really dig this OG vibe of DIY!!
Pretty smooth and functional, very lovely music and sprite work!
Cute little game! First I didn't know there is a double jump and after checking the comments I realized there is more than just the first floor. There might be a lot of room for improvements, like the colission box of the floor not quite lining up with the graphics.
