You were right, it is certainly a hard game. Unfortunately some spots feel more punishing than they maybe should, considering you can't see whats about to happen until you transition to the next screen. But hey, maybe that's part of the point.
Love the concept and the mood, but yeah it was really really hard :O

really hard but i think its fun to keep retrying despite its difficulty. i like the stripe world and some of the story descriptions are funny. the writing needs a little editing though

I really love how you have to type to move and control your character. Awesome mood

Really hard game, but good take on the theme. Really can't say much, cause I didn't get further than the first two jumps. XD. Music and sound effects were not so good.
The game seemed to be a bit too hard right at the start. Neat idea and implementation though
Really hard game, perhaps a bit too unforgiven after the first stage. It honestly felt impossible pretty fast ! NONETHELESS awesome concept. The audio really is settinh the athmosphere and I love your atari graphics.

Very nice mix! I liked this one better than pure text games. Great work, congrats!

I agree with literally everything JavaSaurus said. It feels a bit rough and could use some checkpoints each time your screen moves to the next scene. Otherwise a unique and interesting idea.

I like the control of this game. It's really new. But This game is hard, maybe too much.
Hard one, but still good)

Sorry I only made it 2 times in 20 times playing to make the first jump. I think it's too hard for me :c But the soundtrack was great and the idea behind it is also really good. Still it took me some time to figure out that you can type after typing "right" "jump" to jump over the pit but still it was too hard for me sorry

I found the game funny as hell (now that's a self-deprecating tone I can get behind !), it is one of the few text based games where the writing actually supports the game and keeps the player going forward, so kudos for that (yeah, I went left...)
You mention "programmer's art and music" in your description, but both were very fitting and functional ! The way you introduce the player to your commands is also quite creative, and had me instantly hooked.
The game is indeed tough as nails and each jump requires a good deal of preparation, which prevented me from going very far. That's a shame because I really wanted to read the rest of your story !
The concept is really cool, but I feel like it probably would benefit from an easier first 'level'. I could see a lot of people getting frustrated with the timing on the jump and giving up. That said I thought that, for what it was, the art and music was fitting. Everything seemed well put together and polished!
I wouldn't even call it hard, just ridiculous. Having those two pixel perfect jumps in the beginning was straight up mean. Clearing those even with normal platformer controls wouldn't be easy. Got few times to this part where you need to do said pixel perfect jump blind and that's where I'll call it quits. Maybe if there were some checkpoints... dd.png
Never realised how hard of a word 'jump' really was to type before.
Good job! The concept was neat even though the text adventure bit was only typing 'jump' over and over again with an occasional 'right' thrown in there, everything else was completely unnecessary at least on the parts I got to.

Awesome concept but wow is it hard. I very much appreciate your programmer music and art as well. There is a considerable amount of polish for what you produced as well. Great work, but I'd suggest making it easier. Those first two jumps took me a very long time. ^_^
Loved this would dance with beavers many tails many times. <3 <3 5/5
Really great concept, but I struggled a bit with getting the jumps right. It might have helped if the gaps were smaller or he jumped further. But other than that, neat little submission! Well done!
