Love the idea, cool graphics and nice theme. However, I see it a bit hard to learn to play

zugende 2016-04-18 14:59

I love the concept! But it was quiet hard for me understanding the controls.

peter_szegedi 2016-04-18 15:25

Very innovative, but unfortunately hard to understand.

I only scored you on Innovation, Graphics and Mood as I had a really hard time getting the fingers in the right position. Maybe if you only had 1-2 circles for each finger it would be easier.

You scored really high on innovation though, because it's a really nice idea. If only you guys could have made it easier.

Hope you guys had fun making the game =)

I as well didn't understand how the game worked until looking at your video.

I completely missed that you could use the mouse and in fact need to use both mouse left and right button as well as mouse movement in this game, as the instructions only talk about keys.

I like the idea to do something with hands. I kind of hoped you would do something related to sign language like finger spelling but still just seeing a game about hands is nice. :-)

I give this really high marks. The graphics are awesome, the mood is great, the sounds really work. Interpreting the theme that way was a really good idea !

It is too bad that the instructions didnt mention that you should use the mouse as well ! More people would understand.

Great job! Idea and implemenation is perfect, but rly hard to start play it

hippolyta 2016-04-20 22:58

Cool concept and good implementation!
Well done!

andyman404 2016-04-20 23:33

Good job, although I had to watch the video to understand how to play it. Maybe a tutorial level would have helped. Congrats for finishing. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one to interpret the theme with hand shadows.

Game is very innovative but also hard to grasp and control.

purrpurr 2016-04-21 01:00

I have to disagree with most of the other comments about controls, given the controls are really intuitive and the entire thing plays rather smoothly (and looks rather appealing in the process I might add). Do have to agree with the hard part; took me a while before I grasped what the best approach was to get things in working order (shape). This is also by far the most creative use of the theme I've seen by far. All in all, wow! Keep doing what you're doing please.

Hi, nice game ! We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #35.
Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description

hempuli 2016-04-21 21:23

I definitely wouldn't have figured out what to do without outside advice! That said, once I did the game was very interesting and I enjoyed just making weird gestures with the hands even without a definite goal. The graphics are also really sweet!

rakowu 2016-04-21 21:25

Nice funny game. Maybe a bit tough understand how it works but with your help on twitch it become easy :D. Like this concept and animations. Really nice work made in really short time. Good job.

seconddimension 2016-04-22 20:33

The video really helped understand the game. Really interesting idea and great mood.

2016-04-30 22:55

Hard to play but very nice idea. Nice work!!

2016-04-30 22:59

Ah, btw. Get a Leap Motion and make the gestures working with it. It should be amazing ;)

medidog 2016-05-07 06:29

Really innovative idea, but I think this game needs to be played in a different way, for instance instead of a keyboard, leap motion maybe? It was no fun to change fingers with 1 2 3.. etc. Great mood though.

wg_phancock 2016-05-09 08:13

Really interesting idea and well done art design. I really felt like the feedback on where to move the fingers to was a little too sparse. Maybe a way to see what the final shape is supposed to look like by clicking a button or something would help.
