I really like the writing! I like how the story converges every now and then but has enough different paths to keep it interesting. Congratulations on getting the entry in btw :D. An argument could be made for the theme not being implemented that well, but I think you did a good job overall!
A great game for a single person project! I like the whole concept, but I couldnt figure out how to gain life if I dont have enough after the very first round (before you meet the devil) and wasnt able to buy the campfire. But I liked the game nonetheless! I like how you incorporated the theme as well!
One of the best games that I've played so far out of all the Ludum Dare 44 submissions! Nothing bad to say about the game really, although the jumping physics felt a bit iffy sometimes, especially when trying to jump as soon as you land (looking at glass platforms).
But a great game nonetheless!
I love the art style! I love the story! I love the music and the sound fx and how it doesnt restart in between deaths! The theme integration could have been better though, but I love everything else about the game! The storytelling is amazing, takes the game experience to a whole new level. Great game overall!
The game is beautiful, the art and music fits the idea of the game so well! A great execution of a simple idea! Would love to have a minimap or something to have a look at enemies arriving but its not a negative. A great game!
The same as what others said: the game felt short, and I only had 2 options I feel like, or maybe I missed something. I kindof did not like how you implemented the theme, since it isnt one of the game mechanics. I would recommend you to make it bigger if not bigger then not monotonous next time. I did like the puzzle solving factor though!
I dont understand much about the game and I dont know the controls hence I was not able to play through the game.
You should definitely have a tutorial of some sorts. Also, it seems like there is a bug with the sound, there were multiple songs playing simultaneously in the main menu after I died a couple of times.
Other than that, the art style is fine! And a good game for a first attempt!
A great implementation of the theme! I loved all of the mechanics! I like how the first 4 are random from a pool of 5. And the game isnt that long so that you can try out different strategies! I quite liked the game overall!
