Heeey, I wanted to give this one a go, but the download link isn't working. Not sure if this is a website issue or not.

Download doesn't work
@lexgear and @Vegeo thanks for letting me know. Can you please try again now? Editing the page (without really editing anything) seemed to fix it... somehow. At least it's working for me.
@tykenn Works now
This was a really funny QWOP type of play. Took me a bit to get used to the controls, but I was able to figure out the objective. The first room was a little confusing because I thought I could make the bucket sticky, then just stick all the balls to the outside of the bucket haha! In my fumbling around, the bucket fell onto the doorhandle. I also spent a little time flying around outside trying to actually find the wizard. Eventually, I got it done in 10:42
Fun concept, the puzzles were creative, but with only 2 of them it was a pretty short game.
Ha, this really brought a smile to my face. I'm still unclear how I solved the first puzzle, but somehow I did. I also struggled to find my hooman once I was outside. Really solid effort. Well done.
Very fun. I liked the animations of the wizards and the little jokes sprinkled in.
Also did a lil speedrun: 2024-04-15 09_32_43-A Particularly Slow Broom Summoning.png
I always wanted to play as a broom! I like the neat look of things and the little sound effects. Nice entry to the escape broom genre ;)
Nice twist, love the idea of playing everything but the wizard in a wizarding game haha I struggled a bit on the controls at the beginning but then it was all right after some time. Good job!
The puzzles were really well done in this. I always struggle with puzzle design, but these made me feel clever upon coming up with the solution. Great job.
An unusual idea! I like it
Cute game! The controls were definitely tough, especially when the camera would flip around. I did find the wizard though!
Once you get the hang of the controls I think it controls rather nicely :D Sadly there is little content, because I enjoyed the content that is there!
Nice game and clever puzzles! I think my favorite part is last part where you are trying to find your wizard in the Forrest. It contrasted well with the indoor section and made me fee I had broken free, which is a good ludonarrative allignment!
Cattura.PNG ahaha pretty nice game! It was quite hard to get out of the first room, but overall it was really interesting! I really liked the take on the theme and the style! Good job!
I loved the puzzle in the first room, very funny too. Wish there were more puzzles similar to the first room so it was longer!
Really enjoyed the humor and out-of-the-box concept! It's always refreshing to see such unique ideas brought to life. Great work!
It took me 10min.... I think the idea is good and the concept and the fact that it is compo in time is great. Also the dialogues like drinking the potion :D I would maybe change the controls. It should fly where the broom looks, or where the mouse looks. It was a bit difficult to control the broom.
@Rakowu thanks for the feedback, and I do wish I could've made it more comfortable to control. But I actually initially had the controls like that, where instead of buttons for going up or down, forward movement was just however the broom pointed. That would've worked well for flying around in an open area, like when you get outside. But it actually made things a lot *harder* when trying to do precise actions in an enclosed space. I ultimately decided that, even though it added some unfortunate complexity to the controls, the pitch rotation had to be controlled separate from the forward motion. That way you could do things like balance or unload a bucket without crashing into the ground/ceiling, or point the bristles down and move horizontally to use the broom like, well, a broom.
@tykenn Ok, I understand the reason for your decision. :D
Very fun game! I had a great time figuring out the puzzles. They were complex enough that I did not see what to do with them first try, but not so complex that I was seriously in danger of getting stuck for larger amounts of time. For example my initial attempt at the bucket puzzle was to throw the stick-yellow liquid into it (unnecessarily). But the inspect button came through, and I figured it out. Second puzzle was great too, my initial instinct was to ram into the wizard and it did its ouf, so when I later figured out that this was in fact the correct strategy to win, that was a great moment for me. The inspect texts are fun, stuff like inspecting the orb and reminding the broom that it is, in fact, a broom, those were very funny. Other than that I liked the animations, I thought the animations the wizard students did were cute, I liked those. Very well done, great job on this game!
Nice little game, though the flight controls were a bit special. Not having the broom fly where it looks at was a bit irritating at first.
