Liking the aliens, colors and overall concept!
I nice game that probably deserves pushing a little further as it could upgrade from fun to great fun. Sword effects and nice sound would be welcome. And a little variety of course. But I know... compo : ) - well done!
Good game! Good game! If it was a little easier I would have played longer.
I really love the nil gravitas of picking up dollar bills and coins while surrounded by cops shooting at you. And that the shield appears to PROTECT the hostages. Clearly done in a hurry, as stated. But worth the minute I spent on it
Doesn't load
This is showing all weird on my screen can't rate it. Maybe set canvas to resize?
I really want to like this game but to me all the gfx appear burned into the whites and, the green things appear to be stacking without me doing much at all. But the author's humor is really entertaining. So don't go with my comment and give this game a try, and a better rating! Hoping that a second try will bring out the best as nobody else reported these glitches.
@wfmg np... Well I think there's a lot of potential in how you narrate and design stuff! Keep going
Simple yet enjoyable and polished
Without saying it needs to be more 'progressive' maybe something could be done to avoid making us confused as to whether it's broken at the beginning. Well, actually, since it's quite likely that falling in the water on start doesn't cause a game over, and I can't get out of it... a little bit broken. Once I figured out the controls, a really fun game that deserves the little extra polish/work that would make it sit nicely on phones.Didn't get how this fits the theme though
This game kept me busy longer than I'd have expected which is a good thing... On the downside I didn't feel my efforts were being rewarded in any significant way. The description set my expectations in the sense that I was prepared to replay that minute of game over and over but instead, well. The checkpoints kind of spoil it. Jumping's a little hard, and not sure exactly where to go after a while. So feels more like exploration than time attack.
@indieeclipse I absolutely could. There's a game on itch (that you probably linked me to by mistake) which has the exact same name as yours. and their user name is almost yours too
Lovely game. Was drawn into the theme
A short, but fully functional and well introduced entry!
Fun game that I could pick up easily! Fonts are a bit small and, I think the cost of cards really just needs to be displayed at shop.
I actually think this game is *on the money* regarding the theme. Some may find it too simple, but it's hard enough to keep you busy, easy enough that there's not much stress involved; also, the execution is thorough. I didn't personally like the gfx/music much but they still do a job (I do like the starry background and galaxies though.

Sorry for the spam thing looked it wasn't posting so I erm. Kept clicking and here's the result. Can't seem to be able to remove these posts either.
Enjoyable although I'd like it to be a 'game' but throughout my play couldn't see where I would lose points, or see an ending good or bad. Regardless had a pleasant time. Remember, if you stop by to rate other people's entries, they're more likely to give you ratings too : )
It's enjoyable yes but being a big fan of top down shooters, I really, really needed it to start way harder. Overall it feels like one of the more polished entries but what's holding it back a little in my opinion is breaking that mold
A wholesome game with an intro, story, upgrades... Pretty good given time allocated to this. i'd prefer difficulty to ramp up a little slower; also just tweaking the colors could make this a lot more eye-able.
Surprisingly good. Controls, use of voice, attention to detail. Only tiny gripe I have is how this fits the theme. Had a lot of fun.
Keep your game easy to download please. Windows + Google Drive + RAR ???
Did I just play a clicker? A strategy game? Or a realtime tactics game? Never mind what I really enjoy about this game, is I have the power of nature, but also a sense of inevitability, that my forest WILL be cut down. A little sad, a little cute. Enjoyed it. Works on the mac! Thank you for building a mac version.
Hey! Would be cool if you could upload this to itch.io - Although yea creating a macOS version was a good move, I'm not super-willing to create/reopen a drop box account for downloading a game... Sorry.
@benmcnelly you can check the source on GitHub (link above). I also have a basic photon tutorial/sandbox if you need a Quickstart.
