The graphics in this are great! It is really fun to drive the van and just explore the bright terrain (The smiley faces on the trees was a nice touch).
Absolutely love the art, super cute!
quirky and with lots of potential
Nice game! The art is really nice. I'd suggest having regular 3PS controls for this game (i'd rather rotate the view with the mouse than with Q&E), but that's a minor problem. Overall good job!
I love the style of the game! Amazing work to all who made this!
I really liked the idea, the art style and the game. Driving the car was fun. Would have been nice if you could turn the camera. It also took me a while to realise that it's not the position of the car with the pipe to the palette that matters, but the mouse cursor (to suck things in).
I like how the bushes have smiley faces, couldnt figure out how to deliver the packages
Super cute and charming. Makes me want to draw smiley faces on everything. The driving mechanic is fun.
Fun to drive the little car ! Hard to get items. Great try
I like the art style, very charming. I found the camera a little awkward; a standard mouse-controlled camera would have worked better in my opinion. I think there should also be a timer of sorts so the game ends after a while and you can try to get a high score.
Nice work :)
First, congrats for your first LD game ! I played several minute and i like the graphics, cute and simple. I'm surprise the **camera** is locked into this angle and don't follow the direction where the player go, it's disapointing first. The **map** could be help but i didn't see indicator with my position on it, fortunatelly the area is small but this two points are not very "friendly". Sound is good but no music ? Next time just add cute music free copyright and opting out "audio category". Than can add more mood in your game.
For the rest collect the package and distribute them is not really difficult when you manage with this 2 points (camera, map). If you work on it it can be awesome, for sure.
i live for this artstyle
Cool looking game ! It does fit the theme well, but the gameplay is a bit hard to get, especially with the camera. I really loved the atmosphere, good job
@professor @pixelpocket @8c4o @space-games @shawn-beck @mrbamboo @fidrik @crittercorps thank you all so much!!<333 it means a lot seeing this response from our first ludum dare<3333
@thomas-bringer @rakowu @python-b5 @robowarrior1982 @meta-link The feedback about the camera is very appriciated  originally it was actually a fixed camera angle facing north thats why theres actually no homes on the south side of a road haha  were looking to make a more fleshed out verison of the game and will definetly have some sort of mouse based camera system (+ a better map)
Love the art style! The smiling bushes are especially cute. The controls overall felt nice, even with the weird but surprisingly usable q+e to rotate the camera. The only real issue I have is that it was very finicky sucking in packages. I did not realize it was based on mouse position and not the sucking tube's position until I read someone's comment. Overall though, very good for your first time participating in ludum!
The painted art style is neat. I enjoyed driving around and delivered few packages.
Technically - camera is stuck at single angle, while that's not necessarily a bad thing - BUT - there is a map and indicators where the packages are, yet there are no indicators about recipients unless you literally drive to have their house in camera view (note. some of the houses had their request bubble too low, and it wasn't clear what they want). Had to always search for a bit.
Otherwise it was quite nice gameplay.
Congratulations on making a game!
With some more polish this would be really fun! the camera and driving controls were a bit finicky, but otherwise it's a cute and fun game. well done!
10/10 game title lol. Like others said the controls were a little finicky. I could see this game design really shining with a more varied environment. For some reason I'm thinking of the city from the old "simpson hit and run" game haha.
Congrats on the first jam submission, great job!
Impressive! You were able to accomplish a substantial amount of work in such a short period of time. Congratulations on your entry, it's certainly something to be proud of. I particularly enjoyed the art direction - it's playful and engaging.
The way you gather and shoot items reminds me of Slime Rancher.
Nice idea and driving around is really fun! I like the smiling bushes soooooo much, they are so cute! I also like the idea of "suck up and shoot parcels". Unfortunately, I could not select what item to shoot, so I were only able to deliver meat... Think I must have overlooked something. But nevertheless it was fun! :)
Hey guys,
Took a look and overall can't say that I don't like the idea, it's pretty smart and funny. Overall look & feel makes me happy just by fact of having such bushes
It might require some balance and some time limit / score would be nice to feel it more like a challenging game or something. Also I'm not that sure about that low camera for such game - from time to time driving felt a little bit odd. However I did like to play it, so here is my  for you!
I really liked the graphic design)
Loved the little truck and the ideas there. I also struggled with the camera and controls a fair bit, would have liked to get some solid long-shots on the delivery too but mostly drove up close. Nice little entry
Fantastic game. Love the title, and I had fun driving around :-)
The game kept crashing Web Player (Mac), but the graphics looked nice and driving felt good too.
