Rogue, fluff & nuts by Meta-link 2023-05-04T12:15:51Z

cool little game! I think it would have been nice if the game was clearer about the combat (I didn't understand the damage numbers at first). Simplifying the tree paths might have helped slightly with the tedium of going back and forth. also i chuckled at the amogus in the corner. well done!

Theater of the Dead by bmacintosh 2023-05-09T08:59:54Z

I love this! The dialogue was great and the whole vibe of the game was really fun. The shifting level design was very cool, and it was a lot of fun preparing the different orders, especially the ones that required a bit of extra thinking. I love the concept of needing to mix and match different foods for weird orders. The music was great, although it stopped after a little while and i had to play most of the game in silence :( also some of the dialogue that popped up wasn't voiced (not sure if intended or a bug) and a couple of times the voice was saying something different to the subtitles.

Overall I thought it was excellent and would definitely love an expanded version! Well done!

Crates by karreg 2023-05-06T08:48:31Z

Wow really good! I was really impressed with the pixel art and the music. The gameplay is simple but fun and feels quite polished. The level design could have been more complex, especially the bigger levels with multiple paths (it felt like I skipped most of the level, including the need for the checkpoint) but I understand time as a limiting factor. Overall great job!

Starbound ClawShell Service by CursedEmbassy 2023-05-06T08:21:22Z

Cool game, i enjoyed the dialogue between the lobster and robot (though I would have liked subtitles as I didn't quite understand some of their lines). The driving part could definitely use a bit of polish, and it was a bit weird that I still had to press the correct WASD button to deliver the parcels and without any prompt (or punishment for hitting the wrong button). By the end of the last part I found myself wishing I didn't get so many parcels in the first part haha. But overall I liked it, good job! I'm a mailman, I'm a mailman.

International Relief Corps by CharlesE 2023-05-10T12:55:52Z

I also was lost without a map, I pressed every button on my keyboard but didn't find a map. So I ended up walking around until all my stats emptied without finding anything. The world felt very barren, it would be nice if there were some decorations around the place, such as the tree at the spawn location. But apart from the issues, it seems like there are some cool ideas in this, with more dev time it could be very interesting!

AstroParcel by Martynas 2023-05-12T08:06:43Z

Loved this one! Great graphical style, clean UI, and smooth controls. I also like how fast and snappy the restart is. Also great detail with the engine particles bouncing off surfaces. One thing I noticed is that it's quite easy to avoid the black holes by flying around the outside of the level, it's a slightly longer route but ends up being faster. I like how the objective path updates smoothly. I gave it a few goes and got 2282 points. Looks and feels awesome, would love an expanded version!

30 Minutes Or Heck by radgegames 2023-05-09T09:28:53Z

Neat little game, the art and music were well done. Could be a lot of fun if there was time to add some polish! It took me a couple of loops to realise what the upgrades were doing, at first I wasn't sure if they were just temporary powerups or if they were even having any effect on me, so some text saying what each one does would be nice. Also, maybe this was a symptom of short dev time but it was weird that the bullet speed was variable based on the distance of the mouse from the character, and the distance from enemies to the player. I think having set bullet speeds would feel better and more natural. Also sometimes me and the enemies managed to shoot through the walls. Some simple sound effects would also go a long way, but I understand that's not a high priority for things like this.

Overall I think it's a cool game with promise, well done!

DEVILivery by Blue Pin Studio 2023-05-03T11:27:06Z

I love the art! in particular i enjoyed seeing the bullets stick to surfaces and occasionally fall to the ground. If i had to give criticism i'd say movement felt a bit fast for how small the view window is, and the combat is a bit repetitive. But overall great!

W.O.O.T.: Warp-Optimized Order Transport by fachscahfttf 2023-05-05T02:03:55Z

Neat game! I enjoyed seeing my trade empire grow, and i like the idea of the planets complementing each other by giving/taking resources. it would have been cool to see the lore and resource explanations implemented in the game itself, and with a story to drive the gameplay. But it was still a fun and chill game. Music was great. well done!

Delivery From Hell by thefatgalaboo 2023-05-11T04:51:46Z

This was great, the controls were very unique and fun. I also had some trouble with the grappling hook, but maybe just needed more practice. Very cool little game, I would love to see more levels, well done!

Mailman madness by Sebastiaan Wouters 2023-05-09T08:12:06Z

I enjoyed this one, the flying felt nice and smooth, the mechanics are simple and fun and the level design is good. I thought the sound fx were great, I would have liked even more. The music felt a bit repetitive but that's not so bad for a short game. Overall really well executed, good job!

Fraud!! by Sean Atterbury 2023-05-05T02:44:24Z

If only I'd known committing tax fraud was this fun! great take on the theme. As others have said it was pretty unbalanced, maybe a grid-based system like some tower defense games use would have also been good so you could not stack sprinklers together, for example. But it was still pretty fun. The different tower types were funny and imaginative. Good work!

Astacus Mechanicus by DeadlyFugu 2023-05-10T04:10:59Z

Thanks everyone for playing and leaving feedback! I agree that the difficulty curve is a bit steep, we would have definitely liked to put more time into polishing up the puzzles but in the end we weren't able to. This was the first experience with game dev for two of us so there are lots of things to learn for next time! Thanks again and i'm glad you enjoyed!

We Suck At Deliveries by Blo 2023-05-04T01:35:06Z

With some more polish this would be really fun! the camera and driving controls were a bit finicky, but otherwise it's a cute and fun game. well done!

Message to the End by edenic666 2023-05-03T11:41:42Z

Fellow FF14 enjoyer :handshake: the art and the story were lovely, i wish it had been even longer. well done!

Styx by manioora 2023-05-05T02:29:23Z

Great submission! The art and sound were really good, it was very moody experience. The writing was great and each character having different portraits for different emotions was a nice touch. I liked the map design but as others have said it could have been more fun to explore with slightly more intuitive controls. Though I did like the slow boaty feel of the movement. Overall really great job!

Pack-Man by GyReDHawK 2023-05-06T03:01:23Z

Fun little stealth game with great art! the final level was pretty tough, because if you didn't know where the guards were off-screen they could surprise you at a bad moment. I was also unsure where the exit was on that level, I did find it eventually but it might have been nice if it was more obvious.

The box stacking mechanic is quite cool, but it's a bit difficult to visually understand with the top-down view. The idea could maybe be expanded better with a different camera angle. But overall a fun game with a good concept, good job!
