Cool tech demo, but no real gameplay to be had
I liked the intro, the gun felt like it had a weird spread on it. I felt like I didn't have a good direction of where I was going and just kind of aimlessly wandering.
Pretty fun arcadey game, reminds me of bubble bobble, which is a good thing.
Managed to get stuck in the very beginning by jumping on the barrel and it moving away before I shot it. I liked the music, and the A+ pun. Funny stuff.
Found the instructions a little confusing at first, but then I think I got the idea. Generated some power, was a good time. Most fun was definitely accidentally making a nuclear disaster, the explosion was nice.
I really like the idea presented to be solar powered but having terrain block out your energy.
I really liked this, though I kind of wanted to aim. Major props for using a fantasy console.
I was honestly surprised I enjoyed this so much. I don't normally go in for this kind of game, but the art/mood/writing really sold it for me. Also this take on the theme is one of my favorites. Probably the most charming game I've played this LD.
The execution wasn't great, but I really like the idea. Given more time I think this could be made into something really cool. The gravity was really clunky to deal with
I really like this idea. I've never played an RTS like this. Still rough, but I think think this could be made into something really cool.
It feels really satisfying to play, thought it can be pretty hard to see what's going on with the particle effects vs the size of the enemies/character.
Simple fps game, but it works. Had some control issues with the fact that I play fps games with an inverted y-axis (didn't see an option), but otherwise felt pretty good.
This was fun. Only downside was that I felt I had to play the same level over again to get a perfect score. I would mind this as much if there was a level select, but since they are sequential it feels little weird. The control felt nice and the art was great for doing its job, I knew what everything was immediately.
Very cool, unfortunately I was playing a laptop so I think I was playing hard mode. Really cool idea and it was fun figuring out the system.
I liked the animations and look of the game. Had personal trouble playing the game as I use inverted y-axis for camera controls and I didn't see an option for it, didn't let that effect the score though. Was fun!
I really liked the design of the game, was really fun. Only snag I had was that I frequently confused which way I was facing.
Feels like a modern pacman, that music was fantastic, love it.
Web version won't start for me, here's the error: ``` Uncaught abort(83) at Error at jsStackTrace (blob:https://onemystery.xyz/5f54198d-52e1-467c-b8b0-a5bd871c65f4:1:17947) at stackTrace (blob:https://onemystery.xyz/5f54198d-52e1-467c-b8b0-a5bd871c65f4:1:18118) at abort (blob:https://onemystery.xyz/5f54198d-52e1-467c-b8b0-a5bd871c65f4:3:55914) at Array.b83 (blob:https://onemystery.xyz/c47ff196-fa82-4ec9-afc2-6057386e0f4d:41:28665) at __ZN13FOutputDevice4LogfEPKwz (blob:https://onemystery.xyz/c47ff196-fa82-4ec9-afc2-6057386e0f4d:19:1735495) at __ZN6FDebug12AssertFailedEPKcS1_iPKwz (blob:https://onemystery.xyz/c47ff196-fa82-4ec9-afc2-6057386e0f4d:16:656213) at __Z17LaunchSetGameNamePKwR7FString (blob:https://onemystery.xyz/c47ff196-fa82-4ec9-afc2-6057386e0f4d:35:1477695) at __ZN11FEngineLoop7PreInitEPKw (blob:https://onemystery.xyz/c47ff196-fa82-4ec9-afc2-6057386e0f4d:27:3343542) at __ZN11FEngineLoop7PreInitEiPPwPKw (blob:https://onemystery.xyz/c47ff196-fa82-4ec9-afc2-6057386e0f4d:38:1918049) at __Z10HTML5_Initv (blob:https://onemystery.xyz/c47ff196-fa82-4ec9-afc2-6057386e0f4d:5:690922) If this abort() is unexpected, build with -s ASSERTIONS=1 which can give more information. ```
Fun little game, the music was great. The dash felt a little weird, but this is a great arcadey kind of game.
Got some super meatboy vibes, felt pretty good. Really liked how fast it was to restart a level.
I liked the music, unfortunately the gameplay was very simplistic.
I like the music. The jumping felt a little weird, I found I was able to momentum myself very high from the walljumping blocks. I really like the concept of running around the outer hull of a spacestation. It made choosing where to go next feel very interesting/satisfying.
Fun little game, looks pretty good. Had some control issues with w being jump.
Man, I'm really bad at this. I did complete it, and it was pretty funny bouncing around between all the rocks when I lost control. I found it particularly difficult that I had to aim the ship backwards.
Enjoyed the graphic style, the jump felt really weird to me. I also play fps with inverted y-axis so I had a lot of trouble dealing with that (not docking any rating for that, just a note for future support). I didn't see any relation to the theme, but fun little dungeon maze game.
Really enjoyed the mood you set, the art, audio, and story worked really well together
Feels very relaxing, I really liked the art. Got some flow vibes from this game. The orb collection sound seemed a little out of place. Also, I really wanted to be one of the animals.
That was a fun little game. Reminded me of a 2d golf game, but the hazards were more... hazardous. Fun stuff.
Nice simple game, I loved the art and the soundtrack.
Clean gameplay easy to understand design. Ramped up pretty well too, good job.
The controls felt really nice, bu the camera was a little disorienting. The death animation was very satisfying and I liked the music a lot. Great job.
@simonhutchinson Audio is opted out because the game makes use of creative commons sounds, lightly edited. I didn't really create any of the sounds, nor are they altered enough that I consider them mine. On top of that, it's not really what I set out to achieve, while there are lots of people who made great original sound effects/music that deserve ratings.
@logicon211 Yes, that is the mechanic that seems to have the most trouble being communicated. I have better ideas for how to use the sound sensor in the future. In the worst case I've seen people wander through the sound trap not taking any damage and never learn the mechanic for the later levels. The mechanic needs work. For bonus the sound sensor is very helpful for the moving platform.
Controls felt a little floaty, but I really enjoyed the repeated use of the bouncy platform design. Neat little design concept.
The controls felt very strange. Looks like you have a decent start to level generation. The game itself seems like you didn't quite finish it.
