I caused a supernova XD.
Well that was certainly fun.
Good job!

That was fun. Was the easter egg the "FOR LUDUM DARE!" text? That was sort of a surprise. Maybe he's a programmer?
Slight bug: The first character's image turns when the second player is moving.
Nice game, although slightly short and confusing. And what are the R and T buttons supposed to do? Seems to me like there's no ending as well. However, some of the puzzles were fun to solve. I loved the simplistic style of the art as well.
Sorry about that. I barely had any time to design the towers and enemies themselves as most of my time was spent on the basic mechanics of placing towers, upgrading, etc. I will be posting a post-jam version with more balanced difficulty. However, I have tested it, and it is most definitely beatable.
Really short, but the art was great. Didn't need extra batteries on any of the levels. If there were more levels, I think the extra batteries could be used to create increasingly complex puzzles.
Anyways, good job!
In my opinion, the game has a steep learning curve for the weapon. It took me a few tries to get used to it and I still cannot master the usage of it. I managed to beat the shark once but accidentally hit the sides of the ocean, causing me to lose all my health. I think the game is kinda tricky and could do with some tweaking of difficulty.
I did quite enjoy the balance between the different values. When I was dodging the shark, I had to make sure not to use the boost too often or my pressure would get too high. When I was attacking the squids, I had to avoid using up too much energy. And my health was always a problem.
The game was a little short, although maybe that's because I didn't play through the entirety of it.
The art style was great. I especially love the model for the shark.
Anyways, nice job on the game!
The art is nice and it looks promising. I don't want to sound like an idiot, but how do you restart once you die? None of the buttons I pressed are working and pressing [Restart] doesn't seem to work. I'm using the linux version of the game. Help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Edit: Actually, it seems to be working now! For some reason, it wasn't working. Maybe it was because I was in fullscreen, not sure.
Edit 2: Ok, it seems like I really suck at driving. My main source of death is from trying to get gas and getting hit by cars on the side. There's nearly no time to react. This game is really neat, but I think it would benefit from having arrows indicating where cars are going to come from.
Anways, good job on your first Ludum Dare!
Edit 3: (Ok, quite a few edits) I think I'm getting the hang of this. The police cars only go in the middle of the road or lanes. The left only has cars going from top to bottom and the right only has cars going from bottom to top. The police cars seem to appear at a fixed interval, allowing for periods of safety where you can stay in the middle of roads or lanes.
Pretty nice design. My high score is around 1400 m.
Hah, coffee is indeed power for programmers.
Nice game, if a bit short. Good job on your first game jam!
Really hard on the later levels. It's simplistic but it works. I had fun playing it.
