LD39 — Running out of Power

Power Plant Manager by Josh6680 2017-08-03T01:14:21Z

That was a fun game!! I really liked the clicker style gameplay of waiting for the next upgrade. The menus were crisp and smooth, nothing interrupted the gameplay. I liked having it run in the background and that the colors changed if the air was too polluted.

My only 'complaint' would be there is no end condition. It took about ten minutes for me to get to the power level desired to power the city but there was no 'celebration' to acknowledge that. I just kept playing until about 600% then I turned it off.

It was a super fun game though!! Keep it up!! :D

Amazeing Battery Life by ParkerMc 2017-08-10T23:26:13Z

That was a neat little labyrinth style game! I found myself alternating between the flashlight and the map quite often. Very nice balance between battery usage and going in the dark. The mood and the sound effects were top notch for this style of game. Keep up the great work! :)

Tiny Wiring by Domantas 2017-08-01T11:49:08Z

That is an awesome little puzzle game! Very clever use of mechanics :) Would love to have played more levels! Only criticism I would have is - could you have a controls menu accessible on every screen? I know you introduced them on the first power level, but I didn't have to undo anything until the second power level.

Computer Crisis by PixelFormedStudios 2017-08-01T23:49:54Z

Wow!! That was a lot of fun! :) I felt like a couple more minigames would've been a nice little boost, but you can't beat a relaxing game of pong inside of a series of upbeat mini games. Very well done!!

On/Off by ThePelranthean 2017-08-06T15:55:53Z

Hello! I tried to click on the Windows link, but it is giving me a 404 error.

Mr Mayor's Energy Crisis by HuvaaKoodia 2017-08-09T11:57:17Z

That was quite a bit of fun! The music was awesome, the incorporation of the theme was good, and the different news stories made for a fun sense of humor. Keep up the great work! :)

Rat Hole City by MrChippy 2017-08-02T01:11:23Z

I really enjoyed the art style and how the music coordinates with it!! I think the camera control of the mouse could've been a touch better/easier to control, but other than that, I thought it was a neat little project :)

Yo Ho Ho by Capitals 2017-08-02T03:43:17Z

That was an awesome game! The music and the feel really pull you in!

Only downside I can think of is - I'm not quite sure how it fits with the theme all that well, but other than that, you had me playing for close to 20 minutes, the music and the art and all the everythings were superb. Keep up the great work! :)

Discharged Automaton by Serval Games 2017-08-09T11:54:20Z

It could be my computer, but when I ran the file, all I had was a black screen. The music played, but I couldn't get past that.. I'm sorry! I was eager to play this one!

The Liberation of Liberatia by Somnium 2017-08-03T23:29:42Z

That was a cute little game! I found my strategy of eliminate their guys then convert them to my side -- it seemed to work pretty well with limited casualties. Then once I owned the population I started assassinating them.

Nice feel to the game! I got a General Chaos (Sega Genesis) sort of feel from it :)

One little comment -- I didn't pick up that I was the brown color right away, typically the player plays the more unique color so I assumed any of my purple actions would damage me. It took a couple turns to figure it out, but it was a fun game nonetheless! Keep up the good work!! :)

Tycoon by dob 2017-08-06T15:18:16Z

That was a cute quirky little game! I really enjoyed the premise and the strategy played into it. I agree with a couple of the others that Putin was a little difficult, but other than that, a very well built, solid game that made me want to keep playing for close to 30 minutes. Very well done!! Keep up the great work!! :)

Energy Outage by rosypenguin 2017-08-08T11:48:26Z

That was a neat little project!! I would love to see it fully fleshed out :) I loved the graphics and the mood that you created in such a short time frame. The way the world was constructed, it felt much bigger than it was which is a good way to expand on the idea. I look forward to your future projects!! :)

Probe Abuse by minibobbo 2017-08-01T03:55:53Z

Wow, that was a very clever gameplay style. I liked the code-esque intro and power pickup style. It took a little bit to get used to, but after the 6th probe, I got it figured out. Good job :)

My Kingdom for a Rabbit! by incobalt 2017-08-02T01:08:31Z

That was a cool little concept! :) I like the idea, although I do agree with a couple others, it does feel a little long. Perhaps let the queen die in like 8 weeks? I do like the concept of having to keep track of different attributes of different rabbits throughout the trials. Well done! :)

Decaying Card Game by filippy 2017-08-02T01:31:20Z

I enjoyed the concept of both the cards getting weaker and the enemies becoming more plentiful. I would suggest either some background music or a little better art work. Very good job in the 2 days though! Quite a fun little game! :) Keep it up!

Dryad by Zarkonnen 2017-08-11T11:54:44Z

Not a bad little project! I really like the art style of it! I agree with a couple of the other comments though, the recharge mechanic took a bit too long and the jumping was not quite as responsive as I would've liked it, but other than that, neat little project! Keep up the good work!! :)

Power Knight by thomz12 2017-08-06T16:11:29Z

That is an awesome game!! That art style is dynamite! During gameplay, it didn't feel like the timer was speeding up, I just felt myself naturally speeding up with the speed of everything else around me, that is an awesome way to pull the player in! You should be proud of the project you threw together! I will expect to see this in the app store in a couple months :) Keep up the great work!

Zone Slayer by mmason 2017-08-03T00:15:52Z

I really enjoyed the retro vibe and the concept of the game with the incorporation of the theme. My only gripe would be the controls. They did feel at times rather non-responsive or just clunky. If you tighten those up you have a really nice little project! :)

Are You Sure You Want To Send That? by grandtheftmarmot 2017-08-03T23:18:43Z

That was a lot of fun to play! Cute character, nice parody of real world events, excellent art, and fun music to keep playing along! :) Adding in the cheats to jump forward was a very clever idea. Excellent game for this time restriction, keep up the great work!! :)

Gain Quest: The Art of Muscle by Devastus 2017-08-02T00:42:57Z

That was a lot of fun! It reminded me of Punch Club only much harder...and more permanent. My index fingers won't be needing to go to the gym for a month after this one :)

My only issue would be the re-spawning. If you make it to day 4 or 5 and die, you will be taken back to the start into a cutscene (which is cool!) but you can't skip it. Adding a skip option or a quick recovery would be a neat investment.

Overall, I did spend quite a bit of time with this one, it was a lot of fun! Thanks for putting it together!! :)

AA City by Raogs 2017-08-06T15:54:27Z

That was a neat little game! Controls were a little confusing at first, but if you think of it like Snake it becomes much easier to manage. I was a little confused as to how to operate the power generator, I couldn't quite seem to get the handle on that, other than that, it was a very nice neat little game! Keep up the great work! :)

Cranked 1911 by zee 2017-08-06T15:24:34Z

Cute game!! I loved the graphics of it and the split control between the walking and the driving. I ran into an issue though, I was out cranking the car, another car ran into my car and my car jumped to the top of the telephone booth. That made it a little difficult to progress much past the first mission. I really enjoyed the concept though!! Keep up the great work!! :)

3% | Power Saver by iseeicy 2017-08-14T02:57:49Z

That was an awesome little game!! I gave easy a shot and completed it in less than a minute without the help of a tutorial which was very nice. I wanted to see if my luck would hold jumping to Hard... it gets a lot more complicated there... Great little concept, the sound effects and music fit very nicely into your mood, and the replay-ability was high. Excellent job. Keep up the great work!! :)

Clone Colony by tmpxyz 2017-08-06T16:06:45Z

That was a neat little game! I like the basebuilding concept, it gave me a Civ sort of feel. For being put together in a jam though, that was an awesome game you should be very proud of the work you got done!! Keep up the great work!! :)

Lola's Barkade by A-Flat Miner Studios 2017-08-07T01:10:53Z

That was a really neat concept! I was a little confused as to how to gain/lose power since all the machines would turn off suddenly, but I loved the sound effects and music and the art style paired with the feel of the game splendidly! Your team did an awesome job!! Keep up the great work!! :)

Burnup Blade by DragonZBW 2017-08-02T00:56:53Z

I agree with some of the other comments, the art is awesome and the blade's power is a clever mechanic, but if you start to get juggled by the enemies you are toast. Good job!! :) I'd like to see more in the future from you!! :)

Metal Behemoth by spliter 2017-08-10T23:11:24Z

That was an awesome little game!! The size of the various objects, enemies, and the Behemoth really set the mood. For such a tight timeframe, that was a very well polished little game, I would love to see more enemies and levels if you decide to flesh this out farther. I did run into one bug, I rolled into an electrical charge and destroyed it at the same time that I was coming out of the roll so the player got stuck in there. Resetting the game took care of it and I was able to complete it, but just something to keep in mind :)

Anyway! Keep up the great work! I would love to see this as a full project!!

Glow by benmcnelly 2017-08-01T04:04:24Z

I enjoyed the intro narration, but felt it took just a bit too long to say how to get into the ground level of movement portion. I loved the art and the feel, but the walking sound loop was a bit repetitive. Keep up the good work :)

Programmer Energy by sn0uk 2017-08-06T15:39:26Z

The graphics are dynamite!! I like the nice tight premise and the way it was presented, my only complaint would be - after the 7th or 8th round it feels rather repetitive, I wish there were a couple more features to help spice up the gameplay, but other than that, it was a very pretty game that was rather enjoyable to play! :)

Osiris Industries by DBONGames 2017-08-03T23:22:26Z

I agree with @silas-reinagel it looks really pretty but I don't know where to play it!

Last Question by amras0000 2017-08-01T23:26:52Z

I liked the concept of it! The feel in the different levels was good, but I was a little lost as to what the objective was. It felt like I was just typing to move the drone around. The feel and mood was very good though :)

How I Met Your Great Great Grandmother by PeachTreeOath 2017-08-09T12:00:57Z

That was an awesome game! Neat aesthetics, good/fitting music, nice puzzles, and a great little concept! Excellent job for a jam!!! Keep up the great work!! :)

Static Man by tifu 2017-08-01T11:54:34Z

I agree with Igors, It turned into a game of die as many times as I could by just running away from the ghost trying to learn the layout of the floor before I could figure out where anything was. I like the concept! Maybe a little music could heighten the mood just a little bit? Keep it up! :)

Crazy Tesla Taxi by AViTT 2017-08-06T15:46:41Z

Barring the simple Unity objects and the lack of music, this was a very fun game to play! The car physics were right on point!!! I found myself trying to corkscrew off of ramps trying to pick up passengers more than I was trying to balance the power amount. Neat little sandbox game :) Keep up the great work!!

The Tertielemental Wizard by ectucker1 2017-08-02T03:15:04Z

I enjoyed the music and the graphics quite a bit! They worked well paired together. The gameplay was a little rough, while everything is occurring on the screen it was a little difficult to see the mana and health bar tucked away in the corner. I really like the premise, just a couple tweaks to the UI and I think you would have a really solid project :) Keep up the good work!! :)

Buzzy Bee by Estebe 2017-08-04T03:09:51Z

That was a neat concept in such a short time. I agree with a couple of the other comments - giving both the visual cues and audio clues as to how you did each flower added both depth and rapid player feedback to what they were doing. Another layer of depth could be to add different flowers that gave more or less to the pollination percentage. Overall though -- a very cute and fun game to continue to work at to get a high percentage. Very nicely done! :)

Fuse Cell by christina-antoinette-neofotistou 2017-08-08T03:00:06Z

That was an awesome game!! Controls were excellent, the concept was stellar (execution way better than stellar :) ), nice variety of enemies, good sound effects and music, etc etc etc. This is one of the best entries I have played for Ludum this year! Thank you for making this experience! Keep up the excellent work!! :)

Dare to Ludum by matita 2017-08-07T11:40:25Z

That was quite a bit of fun! :) I liked the different elements sprayed in for the jam, that was cool! The sound effects were fun, the art worked well (including my masterpiece scribbles), it made the mood feel like the compo. I think if you built in a couple of more minigames then you would have a really neat little project! I hope you continue work on this, it would be awesome to see it entirely fleshed out :)

Doki Doki Magica by Sir Daniev 2017-08-03T01:36:58Z

That was cute and fun! I liked the art style. It made it very easy to tell what was going on in the foreground and the nicely painted/drawn background. I have to agree, I wish there were either more enemies or a stingier power up bar. The music was very relaxing to combat the high pace of the game. It was solid and enjoyable. Well done :)

Quoala by Goloso Games 2017-08-06T14:58:26Z

That was a fun little game with a neat premise! I agree with a couple of the other comments though that the text felt a little slow, maybe add a button to advance instead of waiting for it to roll to the next set of words? For English not being your first language, you did a very nice job of it!! I really liked the background noises and the beeping sounds it really enhanced the mood. Excellent little game you made here :)

Car race without gas by morusque 2017-08-07T11:48:56Z

You got me too. Cute little game to throw us off our pace. :)

Turn Out by Vovin 2017-08-02T00:51:36Z

That was a solid puzzle game! I did not realize you could move the screen around with the mouse until about level 4 so I was relying on memorization rather than just looking at the board. It is a cool concept with good visuals! Keep up the great work! :)

Lantern by Kaban 2017-08-03T00:57:44Z

Awesome atmosphere and sounds. I felt like the controls (especially on the diagonals) were a little finicky, but that is my only gripe about this game. I got to the mid-forties!! Complete. Simple. Elegant and high replay-ability. Excellent job on this one :)

Potential Energy by Carsen D. 2017-08-01T03:46:11Z

I think you really nailed the mood with this one. I'd be down to playing this style of a game for a couple hours! Keep it up :)

SAP by Mikronaut 2017-08-10T23:18:18Z

That was a cute little game! The music fit the art style and the platforming was quick and responsive (though the precision jumps were a little difficult). I love the Super Meat Boy style of dying and restarting immediately, that is an awesome way to keep the player engaged. I hope you do keep working on this project! I wish you the best of luck! :)

Turn Towards the Light by Selgeron 2017-08-07T11:32:26Z

That was quite a bit of fun! I had flashbacks of Sonic from when I was growing up :) The colors and mechanics meshed very well together to create a neat atmosphere. My only complaint would be - it felt like the player - once dashing - was moving just a bit too fast so it was a little hard to keep up with, but that is a minor thing. It is an excellent project! Keep up the great work! :)

Climate Clicker by Burgee 2017-08-01T04:11:42Z

That was a lot of fun! I didn't know how to kill the bears for a while then suddenly they burst into a ball of flame. I can get behind that :) Good game!

Hog-Nosed Coon by hijomo 2017-08-03T23:11:44Z

I have to agree with a couple of the other comments. The gameplay was rather simplistic, what was there was quite fun and difficult to play when the deduction of supply started getting up there. Maybe add a generator or something to begin collecting energy by itself without having to click and place them everytime?

Anyway, the models that were there were good. The environment and music were good, just the gameplay seemed a little lacking. Keep up the good work though! :)

Long Live The Pig by CTTFOW 2017-08-07T11:55:19Z

That was fun! Neat, new concept, excellent art and a nice little background theme song to boot! My little pig didn't make it into office. It took about until Day 3 for me to figure out what was going on, but other than that, that was a fun little game! Keep up the good work! :)

Power Hog by Kashif 2017-08-09T11:51:24Z

That was a fun quirky little game! The controls felt a little unintuitive at first, but after a while, I got a hang of it. If you were able to throw in some coffee shop style music, that would be an awesome boost to the mood. As it was, it was quite a bit of fun to manage both of the bars! Keep up the good work! :)

Studentron by Konstantin Boyko 2017-08-06T05:02:22Z

That was a lot of fun to play!! The soundtrack worked well with the background and the concept played well in the environment that it was set. The tutorial was an excellent demonstration of controls, but it felt like the game itself was just a bit too hard with everything moving at the same time (maybe tone down the frequency of class questions just a hair?). Thank you for this experience! It was one of the better games that I have played during LD! :) Keep up the great work!!

TowerClicker by SenileLines 2017-08-14T02:46:38Z

I agree with @shaolin-dave, except - I do like Tower Defense and Clicker games. This one felt a little dry with no music, sound, enemy variety, or automation options, but I do think you have a very solid base to build upon this concept. Excellent little game though! Keep up the great work!

Down in the Light Mine by gnerkus 2017-08-06T14:40:58Z

Hello! I really enjoyed the mood on this one, the graphics and the dark setting really pulls you in. I also like the raycast your player sends out prior to the shot. That gives some awesome feedback to the player before they use up their energy, I wish my game had incorporated a similar concept.

A couple of constructive criticism comments, once you die, the bars don't seem to reset. I also wish there was some sort of music vibe going on, you could probably get away with a lot, depending on the atmosphere you are looking for - a slow minimalistic groove for stealth or a fast, heavy downbeat, blast through the enemies sort of track.

Overall, it is a great start to the game, adding more levels will automatically give it some more depth so keep up the great work!! :)

Roboy Awakening by Arden 2017-08-02T00:23:31Z

That was amazing!!

It felt like I was playing a fully completed project. The controls were tight and responsive, the audio was on point with the narrative, there were secrets, good color schemes to fit the levels, and a good story.

I kindof wish there were a bit more 'dying robots' that you could collect their parts from, but that is probably something to add with more time.

Thank you very much for creating this experience, I would love to see this as a full on fleshed out game. Btw, that is probably the best 'closing out of the game window' I've experience in a long time.

Sea Life by Laien Pathfinder 2017-08-06T15:05:08Z

That was a neat little concept! I enjoyed the premise of it and that is got progressively harder as you went along. A couple small points, it felt like the 'dying from plastic' message occurred when you didn't eat any plastic as well as when your health bar ran out. It also felt as though the hitboxes were a little loose. Other than that, I really enjoyed the music and the mood, it pulls you into a neat little game! Keep up the good work! :)

Ted Crashed! by Sebastian-M 2017-08-02T03:31:53Z

That was a lot of fun! I didn't know what I was doing the first game, just wandering around picking up resources and jamming to the music, but the more I played, the more sense it made until the third game when I repaired the ship in a minute and a half. Great little game with tons of personality! Way to go, keep up the great work! :)

Back Home by Simone 2017-08-01T23:43:20Z

That was quite a bit of fun! I liked the use of the theme and the music, it fit the whimsical atmosphere of it :) My only gripe would be that the player felt a little too loose in the controls, little hard to stop, turn, move, fire, and collect in a short time frame. Getting past that though there is a cute little game full of fun :)

Inverteb by David Allen 2017-08-02T02:02:11Z

Those graphics and music were dynamite!! I really enjoyed the concept and the run, it just had a fun immersive feel to it. Your team should be proud of what you guys built!! Keep up the great work!! :D

Depths of Oceania by cnoble 2017-08-05T12:48:02Z

@captaindreamcast Thank you very much for your nice comment and feedback! Not going to lie, I read your comment while I was at work and my boss pulled me into her office asking what was so amusing. She was not happy with my answer, but I was still in a good mood all day. So thanks for making my day :)

@farhan-qureshi and @goldranger Thank you for the feedback. I will agree with you, the pressure mechanic didn't come down as fast as I would like for it to be engaging all the way down. It was one of those last minute balancing changes I tried to make, that I don't think quite panned out how I wanted.

@ctrlphreak and @estebe I appreciate your feedback and comments! I will have to agree with you on the 2D art. The bars were the first thing that I made in the jam and that was the last time that I had touched them. I had not thought about going back and cleaning them up at all. I will keep that in mind going forward! :)

@somnium Thanks for the comment!! I think you are spot on though, I didn't even think of a "Jaws" style song. That would've been cool :)

Run to Dragsil by Nekonemo 2017-08-10T23:02:37Z

That is a pretty solid little project! The idea of jumping back and forth between worlds is very creative! Like a couple of the other comments have said, it would be cool if the concept was build and expanded upon. Keep up the great work! :)

Power Struggle by Lightzer 2017-08-03T00:42:23Z

That was a fun bullet-hell! Hard as hell, but fun!! I think it would be a little better to give the player a window to get through the bullets. Or provide a little time to recover. As it was, it was very difficult to get past the second and third waves. Great concept, great visuals, good music, it was a lot of fun to play, just difficult :)

Space Coliseum by isubka 2017-08-08T11:58:46Z

That was a neat little game! I like the concept of having to share a keyboard. The controls were quick to figure out, and the music was spot on for the environment that it was in. Awesome little project! Keep up the good work! :)

Quest for Normalcy by CaptainDreamcast 2017-08-01T12:01:34Z

I really enjoyed the humor and the concept thrown together to fit the theme! I had a goofy grin on my face playing it. I will agree with a couple of other comments though, I did try and advance, but I also wanted to see what would happen if I let them through to admire me, but I did not see any noticeable reaction. Overall a good concept and writing style! :)

Fall Sleep by MichelAlonso 2017-08-01T03:50:04Z

I'll agree with the other comments - I was a little unclear about the helicopter portion, I just camped under the light until I was at full health and ran to the end. I did like the mood though nice colors, good concept!

Owld by TeddyDD 2017-08-03T00:36:45Z

I agree with several of the other comments! Good graphics, good atmosphere set up, it was fun to play! Only critique would be - the objects falling seemed just a little too fast to both collect and dodge in order to make it back and recover. I really liked the concept, just a couple tweaks have you have a great game :)

Step out of the light by Zdeno 2017-08-03T01:32:00Z

Awww if there was a desk version of that little robot I would pick one up. He was adorable! Good puzzles and excellent theme structure!! My only complaint would be the player movement felt just a little clunky. Sometimes I wanted him to move all the way up, sometimes I wanted him to move one up and he would do the exact opposite of what I was thinking. Other than that, great graphics, theme, humor/spunk, and vibe. Thanks for the fun experience :)

Funkotron 5k by Jannes Nagel 2017-08-08T11:40:14Z

That was a lot of fun!! The animations were spot on, music was groovy, the premise was hilarious - it was just a fun little game! Thank you for the experience! :)

Power Defense by Daepso 2017-08-03T00:28:20Z

In your description, you said there is no win condition except when the game slows down so I made that my goal. Building up a Fort Knox didn't take too long and it wasn't too much more than 5 minutes and my FPS dropped to about 1 frame a second. It was fun though!! I would just figure out a way to try and clean up the performance issues and you will have a nice little project! :)

I went back after a while and played it again. I found it much more enjoyable to trap the little boxes in their spawning area than around my player. It seemed more efficient that way :)

The Color of Days To Come. by TheOneThatNeverWas 2017-08-10T23:39:20Z

As everyone has said, excellent graphics, very unique concept, the music was on point. It was an awesome little project to get lost in for a while.

I did run into a similar startup problem and getting to the Earth section, I wasn't sure how to proceed, other than that though, that was awesome. I look forward to more of your work in the future! Keep up the great work! :)

Torch Boy by FloBar 2017-08-01T23:34:59Z

That was fun!! I didn't care that there was only one level, that first one was brutal. I like the concept though. Nice tight controls that were unforgiving if you messed up. Keep it up! I'd love to see a full fleshed out version of this :)

Spacesquid Spaceship by Nezumi Games 2017-08-11T11:48:25Z

Wow.! That was impressive! I don't know how you did it but it went from a super calm game to super panicky without seeming impossible to do. Add that to the awesome art style, the music, sound effects, and ease of menus bouncing back and forth, this is easily one of the top games that I have played this LD. Keep up the great work!! :)

SOMETHING IS WRONG. SOMETHING IS WRONG. SOMETHING IS WRONG. by Heather Flowers 2017-08-07T11:45:52Z

That was a fun little walking simulator! The little text critters mixed with the minimalistic feel brought a very unique and fun mood to this game. The ending felt a little abrupt, but it was a fun experience. Keep up the good work! :)

Lithium by bveeramani 2017-08-06T14:46:59Z

That was an awesome little puzzle game! Good backgrounds to mix with the chill music. Good solid puzzles and excellent/well-polished gameplay. You guys did an awesome job with this project! I would not be surprised to see this game in the App Store in about 6 months! Well done! :)

Be The President by MrSerp 2017-08-02T04:08:25Z

That was fun! I didn't get distracted by the twoots as much as I probably should have, but! I did get my staff very angry with the amount of times I pressed the "Do Not Press" button. That was a hoot. That was a fun twist on the theme with a nice light whimsical soundtrack! Keep up the good work! :)

That was cute! I like the concept! The UI felt just a little jumbled, but I liked the sprite style and the way information was presented in the game. The card mechanic was a neat touch. It felt almost like a modern day solitaire! A couple more balancing tweaks and you will have a solid game! Keep up the good work :)

I have to agree with some of the other comments, once I could figure out what to close out of and waited for the program to close, there wasn't too much to do until the time ran out. I do enjoy the concept though, I think it just needs a little smoother edges, maybe throw in a couple extra features like managing more than one call at a time while watching the battery, having multiple endings, that sort of thing then you will have a good barnstormer of a game :) Keep up the good work!

Puppies in Sea Trouble by anttiviljami 2017-08-03T00:49:41Z

I do enjoy the concept of having multiple people online all working to the same goal, unfortunately, I didn't get to experience it. I like the concept, but the gameplay itself felt rather stale after the first minute or so. Maybe a few more features like storms, different breeds (worth different points), not allowing the dogs to collide into each other, having to manage dogs coming in and leaving or something like that. Neat concept, just build on it a little :)

Last chance to Mars by xMiwah 2017-08-11T11:59:16Z

That was a cute little game! Neat graphics and soundtrack! I liked having to bounce back and forth between the different resources. My only complaint would be controlling the ship. If you can't move the ship too much left or right, it becomes harder to dodge items coming at you... While I didn't make it to the red planet, I did make it over halfway! :) Keep up the great work!

Almost Home by willvasco 2017-08-11T12:03:58Z

That was really cool!! I liked the concept of it! I do with either the player hitbox was bigger or the power cells hitbox was bigger so I didn't have to do precision flying while still monitoring the depletion rate. At first, I thought the depletion rate was rather fast, but after playing it a couple of times, I think it is right on point.

Anyway, excellent little project, beautiful art and music. Keep up the great work!! :)

The Will to Live (a game about willpower) by twainwright 2017-08-10T02:57:36Z

That was an awesome little project!! I replayed it probably 3-4 different times trying to get different endings. It was a lot of fun to get sucked into the writing and the mood you were trying to set! Very well done!

A couple of comments though -- after my soul was sold, the game kindof soft-locked and I was stuck in a limbo of resetting with my old stats.

This is definitely in the top 3 games I have played for this Ludum. Very well done, keep up the great work!! :D
