Hey, I am learning to make games and I happened to find your entry. It looks really cool and I had some development questions. What language do you use and the tools that helped you make the game (art editor, text editor, etc.)? Regards, Lieut_Jack

@lieutenant-jack
The game is written in javascript. I used Visual Studio code for editing, Chrome for testing, Bfxr for sound effects, MS Paint for graphics and also for level editing (levels are just an image, with some additional javascript to setup generators), and also some python for some development things. You can check out the source for more details.

Nice entry! I really like the way the player moves using the mouse, and the puzzles are quite interesting. I also think the tiny graphics are suited for this game. The sound effects are good, and i would have liked to see some music in there too! Overall, great game
I wanted to play more but I couldn't complete level3. While at the power grid, while holding space I clicked everywhere nothing happens, can't seem to figure out what am I supposed to do.

I loved the graphics, and the mechanic was really cool. It felt a little janky trying to click on things, and it was odd that I had to click on doors to go to them, before then clicking on something on the other side to go to it.
I liked that I could click again to change my mind. Enemy bullets moved a little fast, it made the first time you encounter them really frustrating.
Tutorial levels were well designed, loved how it added the mechanics one by one. But it felt like there was a lot I was still supposed to guess. Like the power path doing it's own thing, adding onto another path etc.
All in all this was really great.

That is an awesome little puzzle game! Very clever use of mechanics :) Would love to have played more levels! Only criticism I would have is - could you have a controls menu accessible on every screen? I know you introduced them on the first power level, but I didn't have to undo anything until the second power level.
Puzzle games seem very popular this time around, and this one is by far the most original I've seen so far. The only complaint that I have is that moving is kind of annoying when there are a lot of doors around. I think WASD movement would have been better. Apart from that, great job!
Nice puzzle game, it's a bit tough but I enjoyed it nonetheless. As @justashadow sais, it would have been nice to be able to move with WASD, I think we would have more control over the character.

Really like the game mechanics, more sfx would have been nice.
The graphics are awesomely retro
Overall nice fun game here, congrats!

Great work on the pixel graphics and animations despite such a low resolution. I really liked the gameplay; great game overall. The only thing I had difficulty with is getting power to the doors - seems like the clicking was a little finicky.
Nice game ! I really like the pixel art, minimalistic and simply perfect !

Nice puzzle mechanics, altough it felt a little tedious waiting for the guy to walk wherever you wanted him to go next.

Simplistic, but pretty enjoyable. The absolute bare minimum pixels used to convey an idea - that's great art design, if you ask me. I'd maybe suggest some quality of life improvements, like a speed up button for the hero and indicators for clickable objects, maybe a light-up sprite or a border when you put the mouse cursor over.

Very good game. The concept is interesting and the level design is good. It is nice to have various mechanics as the key or the enemy, it adds complexity and immersion to the level. The minimalist visual is well done. However, the controls are not very intuitive at first so it could be nice to show visually which generator is selected. Good job !

Wow, really really great! I truly had a great time playing this. Congrats! The mechanics works well, even if it is a bit hard to understand how it truly works. The graphics are fine, it lacks just a bit of music to make it even better. The AI is great, the pathfinding is great, and the levels are really well designed. Fantastic game. Congrats!
