Great idea! The conversation system was simple but made a lot of sense.

Great idea! The conversation system was simple but made a lot of sense.
Interesting concept with the talking to people to find a charger. I ran into an issue were I must have 'grabbed' a person at a walking node and we got mobbed by other people who got stuck around us. Probably need to check your AI pathing and avoidance so they will path around each other. May need to put a navmesh agent/obstacle on the player so they route around the player when the player is standing still instead of pushing against the player.
Not really my personal type of game, but it appears to be well done for what it is.
I really enjoyed this actually. It's simple and I love the art, the ambient noises were on point as well. It took an obvious idea and executed it so incredibly literally that it came around the bend and became amusing. Nice work!
This was easily my favorite game today (out of 14) hands down! The game was pretty funny and chaotic and really does a fantastic job addressing a very dark and difficult issue many people these days suffer. I mean I don't think people realize how big of an issue phones with poor battery life dying in a shopless mall and being forced to talk to really rude people who have different kinds of phones than you JUST TO BORROW A FREAKING CHARGER is! I mean COME ON!!! My phone's charging type is CLEARLY superior! The nerve of these people not buying the same phone as me....
Anyway I enjoyed the hell out of this game so great job! Will play again!
Definitely go play more games and leave plenty of feedback and ratings. This is a great game and I want many jammers to experience this game!
Amazing concept and I'm in awe of the twitch integration. Definitely so much potential here. A solid 5* from me.
I saw the stream of this game, twitch integration was genius and nicely implemented.
I uploaded my gameplay of this game on youtube, you can find it here

Thanks for being part of the stream :)
cool game, im bad at these social games :D
The game plays very well, and the conversation system is nice and simple. The look & feel of the game is very consistent and good. Twitch integration was a joy to watch on stream.
This was a really great game, but I think Hell might actually be too easy. I beat it on my first try with a score of 2.4%, although maybe that was just luck.
I played on stream, _(VOD: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/164456874)_ so you were able to watch a lot of thoughts live as I played. However I _**promised**_ I would come back to rate and give feedback. Any questions/comments use [@timbeaudet on twitter](https://www.twitter.com/timbeaudet). And **finally** a link to _my_ game if you wanted to check it out: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/39/edrive
This one was different. I'm not sure how easy mode is easy since when I went with the myPhone the first person I talked into borrowing a cord from had a brick phone, I then proceeded to get several other cables and NONE of them matched. I decided to play once more, this time with a brick phone and somehow, the second person I found had a brick phone cable. That said it would have been more interesting? realistic? to have some mall people ignore you, and not warm up to small talk. It felt more like "spam small talk" until happy, though it was still challenging and when I lost I was feeling a the pressure so for that mood got a good score.
Not entirely sure it was fun, based on the previous comment but nice. The music did fit the mall very well and added to things.
Good entry!
That was an awesome little game!! I gave easy a shot and completed it in less than a minute without the help of a tutorial which was very nice. I wanted to see if my luck would hold jumping to Hard... it gets a lot more complicated there... Great little concept, the sound effects and music fit very nicely into your mood, and the replay-ability was high. Excellent job. Keep up the great work!! :)
When I had a *myPhone* they had a *DroneCall*, when I had a *DroneCall* they had a *myPhone* and when I had a *BlamazoonFlame* they had a *BrickPhone* out of all things! I spent the rest of the time insulting people and bathing in the fountain, half expecting security to pop up at any moment.
You managed to recreate the authentic *Mall Experience*:tm: to the bone, only the vendors themselves are missing. There must be a recession going on. I would have also liked to see some secrets hidden around the place, just for fun.
Apart from the inherent randomness of finding a compatible charger from a set of random people there aren't a lot of issues. A small visual feature that I would have liked to see is the expressions being part of the character, not the GUI. Happy people should have a happy face and so on (the emoticons would suffice). This way the interaction GUI could pop up only when getting the character's attention.
Another little feature, which would have added a lot, is cracking jokes. If small talk won't cut it, try a joke and hope for the best. Some people will take it the wrong way no doubt, but at least you tried. That would also be a nice avenue for some absurd/bizarre dialog.
The tutorial works, even if it is somewhat text heavy. The miniature model of the mall is a nice touch there.
Great work in the presentation department, a few tweaks here and there would have improved immersion for me at least.
Very interesting game. My only regret is that the MyPhone is not as common as I'd hoped.
