Testing out blog feature.
@repusv - Our take on the theme is that you're running out of energy (power) while trying to put your child to sleep.
@amras0000 - Thanks so much! @karlyn-meyer is our main writer so I'll let her respond about her process!
For those that mentioned audio (@repusv and @kapricorn-media)—the recordings of G. weren't intended to be full voice acting; it's more like G. riffs off the ideas. So they may not match 100% but the content should be basically the same. If you found bugs that aren't explained by that, please let us know specifics!
Thanks everyone for the comments and ratings! I'm working on playing your games and commenting back right now!
Great job with this! Very fun and very impressive in Python!
Great idea! The conversation system was simple but made a lot of sense.
Pretty clever take on the running out of power theme! I'll never look at windmills the same way again. :)
This game was incredible! I really liked the graphics, especially the effect when shooting your guns.
This game feels like it has a lot of depth! I liked the scratchy graphics and the text commands.
I really liked how the recharge mechanic was clear and simple. Of all the LD39 games I've played I think it was the easiest to understand, and it kept me playing longer. Well done!
I really liked the aesthetics and atmosphere. Great job!
I think this was the first LD39 game to have another unit/character run out of power instead of the player. Pretty interesting twist on the theme! Also, I really dug the graphics and controls.
I really liked the concept but I had a hard time mining the scrap needed for the first hangar. I liked the colors and the comic when I died.
A pretty simple platformer. I found the blue fire tiles to be a little frustrating to navigate, but I think that was by design. Very challenging once I got a few levels in!
Very polished game for a LD entry! I really liked the Meat Boy-like physics. :)
This was a great game! I liked the aesthetics (pixels in Unity—we've all been there) and I liked the procedurally-generated characters. I never caught the mutineer though!
Very interesting blend between storytelling and gameplay! And you really went for gut-wrenching with that sad storyline!
This was amazing! Thanks for making a great game!
I had fun! I had to play until I found my body. I liked the aesthetic a lot as well.
Very funny concept! Really good work. I could not keep the cows in the beams either, but otherwise a good time. :)
I really dug your game! Fun and addictive.
Very cool! I really dig the aesthetic style.
I really dig this art style, and I liked the idea of choosing between casting spells and having life. I liked the idea of blocking in combat but I found myself hammering attack most of the time—which was also fun!
