The game is cool and the music does a good job here.
I like the controls and the mechanics, but could be nice to have a immortal time, because if you get trapped between enemies you're dead.
Congratulations! ^^

Cool little beat-em up.
Only issue is you can get infi-locked due to no recharge time after hitstun.
This is a cool game. I like the controls, and the animations are phenominal, great job! My main issue was that the hit-detection on enemies is so unforgiving, I often felt like I was swinging at enemies right in front of me and missing while they had no trouble striking back. In addition, the camera felt a little close, I didn't have much time to react to enemies rolling at me. Just a few tweaks and this could be something quite fun! Thanks for participating and building this game!
Fantastic work! The graphics on this are amazing. The fighting can get a bit frustrating at times, when you get hit and can't really do anything for quite som time while being swarmed by enemies.
Nice arcade-y beat em up style. It's like i'm fighting pokeballs haha. Sometimes it felt like I'd get hit even though it wasn't touching me. Solid effort and game for the limited time allocated. Keep up the good work!
Awesome animation and particle effect. It would have been nice to have immortal time after being hit.
I like the graphics! Good work mate :)
Nice game, graphics and animations. Cant escape if many enemies surround me.
I liked the graphics throughout---particularly the animation work on the main character---but I think she needed more design work. The music was a good fit (and well-made), I think you have the start of something good here.
The game itself was pretty fun, although it was too easy to get stun-locked by a gang of enemies if your sword hits failed to connect.
Good work overall though, keep it up!
I agree with some of the other comments, the art is awesome and the blade's power is a clever mechanic, but if you start to get juggled by the enemies you are toast. Good job!! :) I'd like to see more in the future from you!! :)
Love to see a LD game that feels well polished! The animations look great, and the visuals and audio combination is quite immersive. Those ball enemies are really OP, though! Felt like it was hard to aim in the vertical direction. Maybe it would be better if the sword hits had a larger vertical hitbox? Also the balls chain hitting you was very unforgiving.
Overall, great game, great graphics, love the sword swinging animation details. Good job!
I really like the simple but efficient art. And you really nailed the audio/visual feedback when punching enemies, which is hard to do in a beat em up.
Difficulty curve was a bit brutal though. And I felt like I lost control when the enemies became too many. And I wish I wasn't as helpless when I ran out of blade energy. I would have been nice to be able to run to the next power source and have a chance even if I messed up and lost the blade energy early.
The gameplay was good, but it's impossible to do anything if you're surrounded. I liked the cool graphics.
Good Job nice game
That was way more fun than I expected. I wish however that I had a better idea of where the enemies were attacking from. It was a bit hard to tell - are they standing, are they gonna attack me? How did they get there?
I really liked the animation and the motion - it was nice and very smooth, the particle effects were also pretty nice :)
I love the sketchy, comic-like art style and the character and enemy design. I liked your sound design but there were a few things that could be improved upon. The main character's footstep sounds were a bit weak and needed to be more impactful. Also, I think that white screen fade transition between scenes when you start the game or restart after dying needed some kind of sound because it felt a little bit empty without it.
As for the gameplay, it's sometimes hard to tell whether you're actually on the same level as an enemy or not, as sometimes attacks that I thought would definitely hit went straight through enemies. I eventually figured out the range of attacks but for the first few minutes it made fighting enemies a bit confusing. As others here have also said, once you're trapped in a group of enemies, its often impossible to do anything. If you were going to expand on this game, a block or dodge button could give the player a chance to get out of those sticky situations.
Great game! Loved the graphics!
