Nice entry! I liked the game overall, the terminal felt nice to use overall, the controlls felt a bit sensitive though.

Nice entry! I liked the game overall, the terminal felt nice to use overall, the controlls felt a bit sensitive though.
Really nice aesthetic! The local multiplayer aspect also sets this entry apart. Great job!
Simple premise, but I really enjoyed causing a nuclear disaster! Nice entry!
I was watching the stream as you guys were working on it, and definitely loved the concept from the moment I saw it!
Music fits well, graphically appealing, and the plugging management is a great design element! Really great job guys!
I liked the game overall, like I could see myself playing it as a mobile time killer, for sure. The controls could have been a little more responsive, but that's really my only gripe. Good job!
Really cool entry! I'm a sucker for management games, but even so, graphics, sound, and mechanics were all on point and consistent with the theme.
Graphically pleasing, the UI elements are a little pixelated, but nothing too jarring. An enjoyable game given the theme and time crunch!
The art style and fast paced gameplay really bring this together as a memorable entry. Really great job and impressively polished!
I love how unassuming the game is at first, then the subtleties and humor amp the game up to memorable among all the other submissions I've seen today!
The Earthbound/Undertale vibe is great and the game overall is just fantastic!
Just lacking a bit more depth of gameplay and UI, but otherwise a fun game!
Aside from WASD not working for me for some reason (I crab walked, which might have improved the experience), it had an almost DOOM meets Duke Nukem vibe, which was awesome!
I liked the graphics and the audio played well to the vibe I mentioned. Good job overall!
I see we had a similar interpretation of the theme! Good entry, but like zgragselus said, an endgame goal would be nice, but we did only have 72 hours, so that's an understandable thing to leave out.
Overall the game looks and plays nicely.
To summarize my experience with the game: turn on shower, see destroyed battery, look in mirror having not looked at screenshots, "life's just not worth living, is it?" Beyond that, the controls felt a little awkward, but nothing unmanageable.
Love the art style and simplicity of the game. The music and quick gameplay bring everything together and the only thing that's lacking is enemy variety, but that's not even a fair complaint given the time constraint! Great entry overall!
The gradual power loss is a game mechanic, you gain power by "twooting" (the black almost cell phone on the right), interacting with documents to make decisions, and by having phone calls.
As far as the months go, I could definitely bump up the timescale, it was just brought down to fit the amount of content I was able to add.
Thanks for the feedback!
Tweets should do something, the actual impact is pretty low, so you have to compensate by volume (there are a few secret key words that give bonus points and I'm pretty sure covfefe was one of those). If I had more time, I would have definitely added more key words to the backend and changed the scoring system.
Thanks for the feedback though! Glad you got a few laughs!
(accidentally double posted)
I didn't have time to implement the BNN app, it was going to react to your decisions though, same with twoots.
I had also planned for a Rabbit News app and for phone numbers to work, maybe with continued development all of those can be implemented!
I'd never heard of Yarn Spinner, but it looks like a node based version of my phone conversation backend, this will definitely help with writing dialogs in the future, thanks for the suggestion!
I like the pairing of endless runner with the mall setting. The chairs definitely added a nice extra mechanic to adapt to.
Couldn't figure out how to get the hotdog in my mouth, but the audio and graphics alone make this a stand out entry.
Loved every aspect of this game (I'm a sucker for space games)! Really nice aesthetic, lighting, graphics, and the music set the mood nicely. Great entry!
I loved the art style and the screen transitions were a very nice touch! Tetris meets interior decorating is definitely a great fit for the theme.
Great art style and music, very different aesthetic to other entries I've seen and I love it!
Great art and I love the premise -- who wouldn't want to be *the* Slime King? And, of course, you need a kingdom to wobble over!
Great work! As a physicist myself, I'm glad someone implemented something like this to fit the theme!
@jan Yeah, I kind of just gave up on fixing the cart physics at some point and just embraced them! I planned on adding more items, scalable difficulty, and ai shoppers that would steal items from you, but I ran out of time because I couldn't work on the game today 😞
@moo Same as the above comment, I just embraced the cart the way it was at some point, but the controls were definitely something I wished I could have fixed today! I had every intention of remapping them from what I had set for testing. The back quote or tilde key unlocks the camera though to be able to interact with the ui.
The music's pretty good, my first impression was that the character design has a like Mr.Bill claymation vibe, which I love! Very competent entry overall!
Love your take on marrying the theme with a supermarket (my entry was also a supermarket game!) great game! Well polished, depth of content is great for a jam entry. Overall, very impressive!
Great entry! Really impressed by the simple but effective art style and the narrative is pretty good! Theme was definitely met by all aboard the SP4-C3, and the sound effects that are there were nicely satisfying.
I would have liked to hear maybe some ambient background sound or music, but given the constraints of the jam, that's totally a fine oversight in the wake of the final product.
I like the premise and it's a super competent entry, for sure, but where are all of the dogs coming from? That's what I really want to know! Material for a sequel, perhaps?
Love how clean the graphics are and the sound effects are very satisfying! Great entry overall!
