This game was very fun, all in all! The random generation kept me on my toes, and changing the stage to be a different number every ten seconds was genius. Even though the graphics were simplistic, it complimented the gameplay well, and I particularly loved the little remarks between stages. If I had to say anything, it's that the game got quite difficult in the later stages - especially with the bottom left corner (only available at 0 and 2) - but it was an overall good time!
What an incredible idea! So innovative and fun - you did a really get job! There were a few times where victory was not possible, and a few small considerations like enemies being able to 'hide behind' powerups, which is likely not expected by the player (Also, it seems the enemies move randomly with lower probability on a fast timer - thus it is possible for them to erratically jitter and kill a player a few steps away. Perhaps another way to have this behavior is, say, enemies only moving every second - thus the player can time-out their movements, and 'get past' one that they saw just move - something like that). Also - an intro cinematic? Comedic level-over lines? Changing level sizes and colors? You clearly put much work and love into this game, and it shows! Music was great too! All in all, I really loved this entry - and cannot get over what a fantastic idea using clock changing digits as a level layout is. Really, really brilliant work.

This has got to be the best game I've played in the jam so far!
I love this! A very different take on pacman style games. Nice job!

@sandeia Thanks for the thoughtful and kind comment! We're glad that you had a good time, and you might be right that the difficulty curve is a bit steep in the end!
@ugly-robot Whoa, thanks for giving such in-depth feedback, we really appreciate it! Your guess about the enemy movement is exactly right, and your suggestion would make some situations much fairer. Your constructive comments really help us in figuring out what we could improve next time! :)
@blinry glad to hear! Though most importantly, I hope you take away that I loved your game and you did great work!
This is the kind of idea that would never occur to me, and it's very clever! It took me an embarrassing amount of time to figure out why I was dying out of nowhere, and then... ah. Of course. A fun aha moment!
@caeonosphere Thanks :) I'm not sure if I understand what you're trying to say, though - were you dying "out of nowhere" because you were in a segment that switched off, or because you got hit by an enemy?
@flauschzelle I was in a segment that switched off and didn't realize.

A really good jam game. I like the visuals and music. The gameplay idea is fun and the game is fun to play. The randomness of the level design, sometimes makes the levels really difficult to get though, but I will not say it is a big issue.
I love this idea, it seemed a bit hard to control sometimes though. Other than that, super cool!

Very underrated game.. Solid entry that is very enjoyable to play. Random stuff is also always good  Love it.
Very clever use of the theme! The graphics were solid, and I enjoyed the levels getting higher resolution as you advance in levels. Sound was good, monsters gave it a little bit of a challenge beyond being in the right segment when the digit changed. Controls were smooth. Overall, an excellent entry. Well done!
You know those ideas that you see and you're like "dang it, I'm jealous af why didn't I think of this?" and then you're like "this is better actually because I didn't have to make it myself but I got to play it!"? Yeah, this is definitely one of those. The mood and atmosphere deserved like a 30 out of 5, and the humor and theme were top-notch too! I really wished there was a button to skip to the next 10 seconds because sometimes I'd sit there waiting for like 1-2 dots I'd missed but otherwise this is phenomenal, and I'm amazed you made it so fast!
Alas Pacman never clicked with me so this isn't exactly my cup of tea, but I really liked how you integrated the theme. Nice twist! I think every aspect fits very well together. Also loved the messages after completing a level :)
This is my favorite interpretation of the theme, you include it on so many different levels
I really enjoyed the fact that the levels are randomly generated, sure it resulted in a few unfavorable levels where I kind of instantly lost, but it kept each time interesting and made it less frustrating to replay it after dying.
Fun to see such an amazing entry made with Löve! I am curious to know how the (very awesome) intro was made, 3d rendered or a video?
Overall just a fantastic entry :trophy:
Aww, thank you :) The intro was 3d rendered with blender, and then included in the Löve game as a video.
