This game is really cool. I like how it slowly eases into it. It's interesting how it can get quite tough for such a simple concept. Definitely one of the most well polished games this LD!

Really well made game given the time. Well done!
Great take on the theme. Some things to improve would be maybe more visual representations of how you soldiers are killing the enemy?
Well done on completing!
Charming art and audio. The general 'feel' or 'mood' of the game is really calm and relaxing. I love adventure puzzlers like this. One nitpick i could come out with would be to change the way text is displayed. It's a little jarring but that might just be because I'm quite close to the screen. Instead of a scrolling type motion, perhaps a single block of text fade in, and a bit smaller? Just a random thought.
Overall brilliant jam game, rated highly.
Cool graphics and game mechanics. Well done on making an AI in time!
Very different to anything I've seen yet. Well played. Lucky I had a couple controllers on me haha
Nice to see another Java dev. Good job making it from scratch within the time limit. Like others have said, perhaps some kind of minitutorial type hints at the beginning would go a long way in helping players understand the game. I forget that kind of stuff as well.
Again well done!
Nice to see another java dev here! Good job, its really difficult to make a game in this time without an engine like unity. Loved the funny cutscenes
seconded, cool graphics and mechanics are interesting. It's nice to have enemies keeping you urgent whilst trying to solve the puzzles. Little things like the ghost trails are nice to have.
Really nicely polished game. One of my faves from this competition.
Really great looking game for just a weekends work. Audio's also great. Gameplay is interesting to get the hang of. If i could give one suggestion, it would be to display the controls as little hints when looking at one of the plants/trees etc instead of listing them. It would just make the learning part of the game a bit shorter.
Again, well done, this is great.
Interesting concept and nice execution! Good take on the theme. I like the use of cards and it's a unique mechanic in a game like this :)
Also kudos for distribution a .jar (cross platform points!)
Very great take on the theme and game mechanic. The look is nicely polished and everything works well :) Constructive feedback I would give would be that the puzzle-element of it could have been more complex
Really solid entry, spent a long time playing this one! I like the minesweeper vibes but with abilities. Super cool!
Interesting mechanic and nice puzzle gameplay! I like the cult/hellish theme, it really adds the the mood. Constructive feedback wise, it could do with some effects to add some oomph. I'd recommend watching "Juice it or lose it" on YT which helped me in past.
I saw myself a lot in this rabbit. Got to score 9500! Very well polished game and I like the art and animations ;)
Solid mechanic and the animations / breaking effect were good touches!
Would like to have tried but don't have Godot - is there a way of you building the game across platform using the Godot engine?
I'm having nightmares tonight :) Really interesting take on the theme, feel like I was delving deeper into a death metal album cover. Great work on this one
Really great take on the theme, I got to depth 5 before getting mauled by zombies :) The concept is very good, it reminded me a bit of fall guys. Constructive feedback-wise, it'd be worth adding a bit of game-juice polish (not sure the technical term), this video's helped me in past: youtube watch?v=Fy0aCDmgnxg (won't let me paste the raw link)
----- For anyone running macos that's also getting "You do not have permission to open the application" if you right click the MacOs download, press Show package contents, drag the Contents/Macos/Deeper Into Carnage into terminal with this command, it will allow you to run:
"chmod +x /Users/X/Downloads/MacOS.app/Contents/MacOS/Deeper\ into\ Carnage" -----
I had to stop myself playing this - this is the kind of game I could spend hours playing. The design is really tight and the progression very nicely tuned. I liked the graphics of the ores and the hidden kind of old-school shading. Constructive feedback-wise, I managed to got to a state where I ran out of money and could only wonder around, where there could be some mechanism to stop this. I think the drill and shop graphic could be improved, and some game juice could have been added. This has helped me in the past youtube watch?v=Fy0aCDmgnxg
Great work on this one :)
I spent a long time playing this one! This is a really solid game, the mechanic is addicting & the progression is nicely tuned. You should consider developing this further! Would be good on mobile
Nice progression to the game. I like the variance in enemies and behaviour. This was a good entry :) I'd recommend adding some game juice for some extra oomph (particles/screenshake etc). There's a good video on "Game juice" you can find on youtube
This is a really tight game with a great concept :) The graphics is good, and the effects are very effective. It's very well polished, the inclusion of a good in-game tutorial is rare to see in an LD game. I really like the variance in weapons. Constructive feedback-wise, I'd recommend adding some optional alternative key controls for next time. For example on macos (sorry), the right click is hard to use in a game so some random keys could be used as an alternative while still keeping the mouse for aim.
----
For anyone getting "You don't have permission to run" on macos, you can run:
"chmod +x PostalPlunge-MacOS/PostalPlunge.app/Contents/MacOS/Postal\ Plunge" in the folder from terminal ----
Truly unique idea and very interesting take on the theme. I imagine some sort of weird historical figure psychology museum where you dive into peoples psyche.
Really good entry! The graphics is really tight and the mechanic is unique :)
I like the arm movement and the progression of upgrades. Had fun with this one!
Nice retro vibe, and the aim of the game was very unique. Really solid entry and progression. Constructive feedback wise, I think having a mouse aim would be useful bc it's sometimes hard to aim directly at the skeletons with the hat
Great graphics and really innovative concept here. This is the first 2 player game I've seen for LD! I'd recommend including some sort of tether to the players or split screen. I played with my gf and found it hard for us to both stay on screen.
So much content! Great entry, it's a nicely wrapped up game with solid mechanics. The difference in maps is a great touch and must have been challenging to do in a weekend :)
Really great graphics and polish. The terrain breaking & the mini-map was a very affective touch. It reminds me a lot of a tank game I played at school and its very impressive for a 10 hour job. Constructive feedback-wise, I think there could have been some sort of random generation / increasing difficulty for replay-ability :)
Really innovative take on the theme, well done!
Really great execution of an interesting idea. Really impressed with this one, well done!
Really fun game, with a good level of challenging. Played a bunch of times and it was easy to get without needing to read tutorial. Great job!
Really cute art-style and innovative game. Great job!
Most fun game I've played! Really great music as well. Great job
Cool game, I like the variety of enemies and nice particle effects!
Really cool concept! Challenging game, this would be good on mobile too :)
Really fun game. I had a great time trying to work out the best placements / combos. Would be good on mobile too!
Really great take on the theme, and nicely polished. Great job! :)
Really interesting game, like KSP on crack! Great job
Really interesting take on the theme. Interesting mechanic and great art :)
Really cool game mechanic with the card drawing to add to the abilities! Nicely done
Cool premise, reminds me of transport tycoon / cities skylines. Well done!
Really cool game! Reminds me a lot of papers please
Really interesting take on the theme! Interesting game mechanic and it works really well. Great job!
Congrats on your first 4 games!
