Fun little game! It would've been even more fun if you implemented a hotseat multiplayer!

Nice entry! As I really suck with multitasking, this game is quite a challenge for me. I like the idea of the small worlds with different development stages. All the mechanics work quite solid and are fun to play! The rockets stay after the end of a round, which can lead to collisions with an old rocket. Your particle effects rule!

This is quite a unique twist on Pong. The idea of not only controlling the paddles but the balls too is pretty well done. It's a bit overwhelming at first, but once all the mechanics are realized it becomes pretty simple to play. Well done!

It took a few rounds for me to get truly into it, the missiles are seemingly rather "spray and pray" but I like the idea of adding extra mechanics to the Pong foundation where not only can you affect the speed and trajectory of your planet/ball but getting it past your opponent isn't the only way to win. I dare say you could have utilised WASD and the arrow keys for a more comfortable/uniform control setup. Where you have A and D to rotate the planet, W and S for Missiles and Fuel leaving the Up/Down arrow keys for paddle movement.

Interesting Pong combo! Hard to wrap your mind around dual control, but funny effects. Some way to add a bit more aim/control to the world would have been nice.

Taking a classic and turning it into something new :D Well done :) I like this one. The art is kind a minimalistic but also gorgeous.

Cheers

Wow, neat variant of pong! Well done! :-)

Cool game, nice spin on the classic:P It is a bit too complex for a party game though!

Oops, double clicked, sorry

This is a bit addicting. Would be wonderful if the ai is a bit you know human.

huvaakoodia 2017-05-17 08:39

Splendid idea and solid execution.

It is rather easy to get carried away by the planetary combat, forgetting that you also need to play pong! I really like the level of challenge involved in keeping tabs on two concurrent problems.

Good work adapting an old classic to the modern, *violent*, age! :ping_pong: :rocket: :boom:

Pretty fun :) Good variation to the classic game. Everything worked fine

zirrrus 2017-05-17 09:18

Really fun concept!

I found it fairly difficult because of the multitasking aspect of it and hitting anything with the rockets seems like it's pretty much just based on luck. Maybe make those faster or give them a little bit of homing?

spinaljack 2017-05-17 09:20

Nice spin on pong

goncalo-monteiro 2017-05-17 09:23

A bit confusing, It might need more testing in the design department, but it could be an interesting twist on pong.

Really nicely polished game. One of my faves from this competition.

sgstair 2017-05-19 03:37

Just wow, there is quite a lot going on in this game, it's difficult to keep up with it all. Took me some time to realize that the missiles were not something the paddle should avoid, they're for targeting planets. The AI is also somewhat scarily good at this. Really cool ideas here, I think some refinement on the controls would make it more playable, especially the buying upgrades part was pretty awkward.
