I like the concept! It works well for mobile devices and I could see this as a nice, little time-killing game.
Some minor comments; indicating the correct wire to cut can be quite confusing at times. There are five lights that are positioned in a way that the user may think the they need to cut the wire at the same position as the light. This was the case for me since I'm partly color blind and it took me a while to start seeing that lights have colors. Color blindless is always a challenge to games like this but I think you can mitigate the issue by choosing the set of colors a bit more carefully. Red, green, yellow, blue is probably not the best combination. Also, consider changing the graphics so the user understands it is the color they need to look for, not the position.
Overall, a nitfy little game. I'm sure you could do a lot with this theme if you kept developing it after the jam!

Very nice game. Congrats!
Nice entry. I like the swipe controls. The game confused me at first because of the dark green light that indicated an off light. But once I knew what to look for it wasn't an issue. Good job! BOOOM!
I've reached 137 points. It's fun game, but kinda repetitive

@nash Thank you very much for such a bright review, we will definitely listen to these tips, you are right! Perhaps after the jam we will release an improved version of the game only for mobile devices with a rating, I have already started drawing the interface. Thanks!

@yarpoplar My maximum is 112, you have a good result! @kisilin Thanks! @stalemeat Our choice of colors is not the best, I know. The game is very easy to understand, thanks for the feedback!
Had a Blast playing
Ah man! You got me beat. I could only get to 111! 1 swipe short of the creator! Nicely done!

Fun and decently well polished. I played it on my phone and it worked great, though it was a little off center for me. Pretty easy overall, but still satisfying to play. Really enjoyed the music, pretty catchy! Nice graphics in the game and on the LD page as well. Well done!
I would like to see more variety in the "puzzle" of the game, maybe sometimes the wires go horizontal, maybe sometimes they criss-cross, maybe sometimes you need to cut the wire at a particular location instead of with a particular color?

This was a fun little game, it was a little confusing at first trying to figure out if the position of the light mattered instead of the color, which seemed not to be the case. Once I realized it was the color of the light it became pretty easy. I would say maybe add a timer per wire configuration to add to the tension, there seemed to be no consequence for just not cutting a wire, making it pretty low stake. Overall a cute little time passer, thanks for sharing!

@tobius We tried to cross the wires to make it harder to cut the right wire and add neutral wires that don't affect detonation, but we didn't have the knowledge to do it in that amount of time. Thanks for the feedback!

Fun and fast-paced game. However, it missed the theme of the jam a little bit since you cannot delay the inevitable in any way. The timer runs down no matter what I do. The only way to change anything about this is if I make 3 mistakes and end it sooner (or did I miss something?). Nevertheless, I like the game itself and it was a fun experience.

@crygos This is a small problem that we encountered when we were packing the project into a build. There should be a mechanic to increase the time. Thank you for the exceptional connection!
@mostel мерси! :smirk:
Your pages and images are gorgeous! I was a little bit confused about what was going on at first but I think I understood. I like the simplicity of it, but I found it to be a little bit too easy. Good job nonetheless, and again lovely promo images!

I got to about 88. I found it easier to slice the wires vertically in the end. Since it seems there is only one wire to cut each time, you can sometimes look for the only different color, which makes it a bit easier as well.
In my first play-through, I got in a state where there where 2 sets of wires drawn over each other. The I died, since that was my third heart.
All in all, it's a bit repetitive, but the art is slick, and I like the way the cuts actually erase the pixels.
Was this inspired by 'Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes' by any chance?

@anaxie-studio Thanks!
@remco Thank you very much for your feedback! Already after we downloaded the game, we remembered “Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes”, by the way, it is amazing, there is an incredible number of puzzles

Got 120 on my second go once I understood the idea of the game - good fun! Very tight mechanic, and well implemented, so it was easy to understand once I got going. The cutting mechanic is great, even if a few times a bit frustrating as it cut like 99% of the wire but not all haha. If I had to make a suggestion it would be to vary the sound effects as they happen so many times, it would be nice to vary them a bit. And also maybe turn the orientation of the wires to horizontal as a random variation to mix it up more and test reaction speed 👀
Great entry!

Simple yet fun game, it could be expanded into some kind of wario ware defusal game, with some different mini reaction puzzles !
Well I completely sucked at that game but it was a blast all the same. I got a grand score of 11. Nice entry!
I was so confused at first but then I started to get it. Really fun! great work on mood and graphics.

Guys, thanks to everyone who left feedback to help us improve the game - it’s very important for us.
We continue to develop the game, but keep a low profile, after the jam is over, we will port the game for mobile devices:
1. Starting game tutorial 2. Interface and level system for the game to increase its difficulty. 3. Working on bonuses and improving the gameplay. 4. The main game mechanics will remain the same, but we will improve it, make it more flexible. 5. The most important thing is that now you can win the game and get points. 09 Update-01.png

It's a cool reaction game and I think that if you add content to it, then something very good can come out of it later). I wish you good luck in this!

@paulsams Thank you, I think any game of jam can be possessed if stick to stick to affection!
Awesome game! I did fail the first time I played because I thought I was cutting the wire under the light, but it did not take long to actually figure it out. I would definitely enjoy an increase in difficulty, so that you have to cut multiple wires, so I am glad you have plans to add that stuff. Also your art and the web background look fantastic, really top notch.
I got to 107.

@jasontherand Thank you very much for your feedback, it's very nice that you appreciated the graphics and design!
Great game! Played on it PC it worked fine, just drag and slice! Lots of ideas could be added down the road. Perfect submission!
Great concept and pretty implementation, but there could be a bit more variety to it.

Was a little confused at first, but got the hang of it soon enough. I too had a easier time with horizontal cuts. Looking forward to more variety, but the core gameplay is there. Congrats and thanks for the game!

Fun game! I like that it resets every 3 seconds, giving a sense of urgency to identify and cut the correct wire.
The harder round at the 2 minute mark is actually fantastic. I wish I could start with that.

Very nice overall style/ graphics theme, very consistent! And even more on the webpage! I like the cutting, that it is not yes/no but the player really cuts-in! Curious how you implemented tis. I like that the colour is not just shown at same place, but changes, which creates even more stress. Flawless controls. The game creates stress for me, which is the intention. I personally look for zen-games, so I would not play it more often than I did the jam game. Impressive what you did in the short jam!
Good idea that needs a little of develompent.
Overall the game works, that´s the important thing. It was difficult to understand what cables one should cut. A mini tutorial would be a great improvement.
The audio is good but you should diferenciate between right and wrong choices.
I once run into this weird bug
glitch.png
It was like there were multiple instances of cables, including the sfx.
Great entry, a little polish and this game is good to go. Congratulations!

@the-fazzo This is not a strange bug, this is a special bonus level that only drops out to the elite!!! Thank you very much for your feedback!
really cool idea for a mobile game! 2 things:
- playing with a mac touch pad is appearently real hard
- what do I have to cut in these cases?

@velvetlobster This is a bug that we discovered when we already packed the project. Let's call this level "Very difficult". Thanks for the feedback
Great UI and design, I agree with plixel's comment about the time. Impressive to get a mobile game out in little time (:

@pureimprov Thank you very much for your kind words!
Nice game page design! The swipe mechanics, I think, fits better for mobile. The color game scheme is a bit toxic. The gameplay at start feels good, but making the swipes for 3 minutes - that's crazy

Funny time-killer!) Good job)
Баги уберете и можно в плей маркет выкладывать)) Залипательная игрушка вышла. Единственно лампочки сверху не сразу сообразила что к чему. Да и к чему их так много? Тоже не понятно. Горит то все равно одна )
This game exposes some major shortages in the bomb defusal labor force... Nice game! I had fun with it.
really fun game, the sound effects are a bit repetetive and the music tends to restart when you go from the main menu to the game
Nice game, well-polished UI.
Though the wire cutting mechanic is very finicky. I would expect the cutting line to be well... actual `line` rather than stretched ellipse. Not once the game failed to register my cut, because, I started very close to the wire I need to cut, dragged way outwards, the final ellipse corner got positioned behind cuttable wire. Making me repeat the cut again.
Great effort, it is really just two of you? or you had a bigger team?
