It's the first game I played in this jam. Cool design! Especially the background.

Hi! Cool presentation and style, nice music goes along with gameplay. 544 in 112 my score.
cool game my score 562
I'm a sucker for old school Atari style games and this reminded me a ton of Astrosmash. Pretty fun actually. Love how you decided to implement the scores and user data into a functional background. I laughed pretty hard when I lost, for the briefest of a moment I thought my computer crashed! Nicely done!
I like the art, I remember a tetris portable games.
Really nice and smooth game. I liked the dynamic numbers as part of the background. The music and style were great as well. I liked the ending screen too. :)
@lanalux Thanks for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed the game.
@simplepotential Thanks for playing. I wanted to make something that felt like an old school game. The ending was the only way i could thing to add a little humour to the game.
@jyumonji Cool! Thanks for playing!!
nice
great art, palet is almost the same as the one i used in my jam entry, excelent audio, great controls, the game matches the theme but imho i think the dificult ramp happens waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to fast, i dint knew why sudenly i started firing lke a machine gun instead of a one shot like the beggining, maybe some sort of fire mode indicator. i simply felt hopeless instead of trying to delay the inevitable. since it wasnt relevant what i did to delay it. maybe slow it down a bit to give player a glimpse of hopethat something maaaaay be done to delay. other than that great job. keep developing. had a lot of fun.
P.S: blue screen gave me a jump scare xD! maybe because of the sfx.
solid mood, gameplay, and I loved the music / sounds. a good simple shooter concept executed nicely! Well done :)
The way you show the stats in the background of the game is brilliant. I also liked the flow of the game. It starts quite challenging, you slowly grow overpowered and then the game speeds up to complete madness! Fun and well made!
Really simple but fun! Also, you maybe want to add a cap for the speed of the files falling down!
Really nice game! I loved the background UI, and how you (and the enemies) slowly became stronger as the game progressed. The graphics were also very nice. I felt like the game turned from easy to impossible too quickly once the data started really speeding up, and there's a weird audio bug where the musics sometimes begins again after losing, but otherwise, great entry!
Oh my god XD I don't think I've lol'd so hard with a jam game. I was expecting the ramp up but sheesh that was fun! Graphics and audio really fit the vibe, great entry! <3
Nice work on the music and overall mood. I like the classic arcade shooter feel. One thing I found a bit odd was how your rate of fire seemed to increase gradually at first and then suddenly get much quicker (although maybe it just felt like that but was actually a smooth exponential curve).
Towards the end it felt like you didn't have much control over what was happening (seemed to be more about moving back and forth as fast as possible rather than aiming). I suppose that's in keeping with the theme though!
A really cool game. Love the art style. The background with the score & time was a really nice touch. Upgrades would be an awesome additions! Great job! Screenshot 2022-04-15 at 10.46.15.png
Fun idea. I really liked how the background held data about your current run. Very neat.
That was fun! At the start I thought it would be a simple shooter, but the speeding up was a super nice surprise and was really satisfying! The music fits the game really well too. I got 435 data units in 115s. Well done with the game!
It starts out so easy, and then becomes so fast it made me laugh haha. The graphics and sounds were on point and it was really polished in general. I really liked how the UI was across the backdrop of the game, it felt out the game but more of a part of the game!
I'm not entirely sure what made my fire rate go up, but a faster rate was super fun!
Overall, really well done!
@sarah thanks for playing! The fire rate increases a little for every data block that you destroy.
