I loved it :)
Very cohesive art, loved the tunes, and i loved the *big meat* order. The controls took a second to get a hang of but I got it eventually! I also like how the instructions weren't just a list, but take a liiitle bit of thought to get the order right

Really like the look and art style! Nice in-game instructions, but maybe a bit too much text. Controls are a bit frustrating but maybe okay for the challenge
Controls are certainly finicky but otherwise I think the game and it was easy to understand. In game instructions are always nice. Nice entry!

A like the art, audio, the mechanics, the movement was a bit quirky at times, but it's a good game. First tutorial screen was a bit scary with the number of texts everywhere.
So bizarre with the cameras, the platform, roller-skate mechanic and the food items floating around the player. Must've been a blast creating this:D One slight issue I had is that the UI was a bit hard to get an overview of, especially in fullscreen.

It is a creative take on the theme.
The control is a bit difficult to precisely get the correct ingredient within 10 seconds. I often need to circle around the object to step on the button.

Sadly could not get past the title screen while using Mac (using crossover to run the windows version). Awesome title screen tho!
Look at him go!!

Hoping for a webgl post-jam version!!
Really fun and creative idea. The game had charm. It gets tricky trying to maneuver around the table, but I guess that is part of the point. The message that pops up once you lose had me laughing! Great work, I liked it a lot.
@jonah the right shift button behaves really weird for me too, try holding for a second and letting go quickly. If it doesn’t work, all good! I’ll check out your game soon.
Dashing through the meat took me a bit to figure out. Turning is awkward, but everything else felt really solid. :D2022-10-08 16_45_13-LudumDare51.png
This is a great game and all, but I feel like the movement was more frustrating than it should've been.
Sorry if that came out sounding rude, I didn't really mean that. The game is fun and simple but the movement could be improved!
@foggydude No, I get what you mean. I wanted the movement to be where the difficulty comes in, as the game with just a simple controller would feel too easy. I ended up making the movement easier a little before submission to the point where I could pretty much go on forever, but obviously that's because I made the game. I agree that the character does feel a little too slippery and hard to turn with.

изображение_2022-10-10_001146705.png I noticed that the interface of most games does not support the standard set of screen aspect ratios. I was able to play it with difficulty, but my main pc looks like this :(

Had a hard time with the movements but i liked the art/music !
The controls take some getting used to. The infinite time starting level was helpful. The art was good, particularly the meals created.
@adecon I got a chance to look into the issue. In unity, I made the font large, which doesn’t scale like if I set the width large. I’ll definitely fix this in postjam. Thank you for bringing it up.
amazing! absolutely astonishing
Ultimately I think the tank controls were the wrong choice. In a game revolving around optimizing your actions within a narrow time limit, it frankly feels a bit annoying when the main challenge is contending with the control scheme.
It took me a bit to figure out what I was even supposed to be doing... I think the tutorial would've been better if it walked you through everything in order rather than just putting all the info on screen at once.
