sometimes it's a bit hard to get around, but otherwise cool game!

I really liked this game! The visuals were decent, and I really liked how the music slowed down in accordance with your power! I liked how I would have to memorize where to go next immediately after getting a battery and seeing the whole maze. Good job!

Nice game! I thought that it was very fun and that the graphics were cute.

It is fun how the music slow down, it sound a little gloomy. The game is pretty simple, but you managed to make it full. There is several levels, an objective, a challenge. Good work.

azziliz 2017-08-03 19:26

I like this game, it's very similar to mine. Good job.

Nice work, I like the slowing down of the music but the soundtrack got a bit much for me after a while. Tricky to turn corners at times. Solid little levels with nicely balanced gameplay. Good job.

simple but nice game concept.

c0nst4ntin 2017-08-09 13:18

A Nice interpretation that power = vision! But maybe make the collision box of the player smaller than the tiles, so you can walk through easier!

Some ideas for improvement: - add cycles to your mazes (otherwise, they can be easily solved even with zero energy) (depth-first search, as did the 3d-fps screensaver from Windows 95) - maybe lose the game when energy reaches zero? otherwise, combined with the above, there's no real challenge - the pitch fading music must have looked like a good idea on paper, however, the gameplay makes it you spend 50% of your playing time "in the middle" of the pitch fading, which gets annoying very quick! - same as C0nst4ntin: the character's hitbox should be scaled down (80% should be OK), or at least, implement some corner rounding (like in top-down zeldas), so you don't get stuck on corners when trying to enter a 1-cell wide corridor.

I played until the end, the game is fun, so good job!

The mechanic is excellent, probably best use of theme I've seen so far. The collisions into and out of corridors really let it down though, it's frustrating not being able to slide into corridors slightly.

Nice! The wall collision is a bit too strict, perhaps, but this is a really clever game. I love the adaptive music and the graphics. Really nice work!

I enjoyed the idea of making your light and sound get less as your power got less. The collision with the doors/hallways was a bit irritating, however. Also the music got a bit irritating after a while as it was a short loop. Great effort and implementation of the theme.

Good entry !

**** What I liked : **** - I liked how the music/pitch was slowing down when my energy gets less and less. - I liked the visuals. - I liked the walk animation.

**** What I disliked : **** - Sometimes, the collisions was a not so good. - I liked the walk animation but it was always running, even if I don't move it still running !

Otherwise, solid game ! Was fun to play!

I really liked the music slowing down as the energy ran out, very nice touch. Unfortunately I couldn't get past the second level. Seemed like a bug, I kept colliding with the wall and could squeeze through no matter what I tried. Other than that, seems like a great concept

spacewarp 2017-08-20 17:31

Nice entry! The music effects were very nice, though the audio itself was a bit grating. I personally didn't have much problems with collisions.

ruerob-hyky 2017-08-20 18:21

Haha! Thanky you for your game! It really was fun to play! haha! I tried really hard not to run out of power and was a bit frightened when the bar nearly reached the end! haha! Until the last level! haha! Where I realized that even if the power runs out I'm able to finish the level! hahaha! Nice game! :0)

dekhey 2017-08-20 18:31

A really good idea. I loved how the music slowed down when i was running out of power. You could make that the player loses when is out of power becouse right now if you memorice more or less the map is not really dificult to clear it without power. Anyway, good game

frogcheese 2017-08-22 13:00

There were some spots in the maze that were hard to squeeze through, but other than that it was a solid game. I really liked the music, especially how it slowed down as power ran out. The thought of having power correspond to your field of vision is also something I haven't seen in any other entries so far. Interesting take on the theme! (You also get points for the other take on the theme that comes at the end of the game, heh)

Well done!

furiouswitch 2017-08-22 13:23

Very nice game! I loved especially what you did with the music when the power was going down. The graphics were very nice and the polish of the game really good. I agree about the difficulty in squeezing in in some spots but it was not a big deal just something to improve. Good job :)
