This game is beautiful! The art is top notch--love the style, especially all of the characters' facial expressions!

Interesting and funny story. The loop theme works perfectly here not just for the story but also a gameplay mechanic. I felt like I always had the chance to try a new option and see what happens with every go-around. The characters look great and provide plenty of humor. Perhaps just on my machine but I tried 2 different browsers and monitors. The game isn't playable when the screen isn't maximized because the keyboard moves the webpage, but if you make it fullscreen, the game doesn't fully stretch.
@fc85057 Thank you! Yes I am sorry for the formatting problems and the bad choice of keys. I'm not sure I can fix that now after the Jam has finished. @michaelha Thank you :)
Graphics remind me of Griftlands, pretty cool!
I like how much humor you put in the game and i love the art style especially of the characters. The background was a bit simpler (still good) but that is to be expected in a jam
A nice narrative driven game with fine art and pretty funny story. Good work.
@bauke-regnerus @tricky-fat-cat @aterlamia Thank you! ^.^
Very fun game and the art is especially good ! From your blog post, it sounds like you learned a lot about not overscoping and taking on too much to handle for a game jam. I'm glad and very excited to see what you make next time !
@snowinn Thanks! Yea this was quite the task to handle haha glad you enjoyed it!
This game is hilarious! I kept playing it over and over just to see if there are some more puns somewhere.
@oneiromancer Thanks! ^-^
Hello there buddy! :D Nice to see that you participated in the LD 47! very glad to see you around here! I hope your weekend was great because you crafted a really fun, humoristic, intriguing little game! Honestly I putted 5* all around I had a good laugh and my destiny was choosen I became a baker! xD That's funny because I did work as a baker back in the time! I guess it was fun! Also you really dug in the style and become more confident in your lines, well done! I wish I could have putted it full full screen but it wasn't really that big of a problem and I liked the replay value when you have to start again! Also I didn't know your team consisted of 4 Mateus, did you loop yourself too? :D As for us, we did what we could but it was quite a rough weekend, but we were glad to put out something at least :)
Great entry Mateus and hope you are well!
I had a little fun with the names xD

@corbak Thank you so much! I'm happy you enjoyed it :D I sure had fun making this game
Such a good job for one person only! I loved the art and the story itself. Very nice!
@tamail Thanks! ^_^
Nice work! The artwork is great, and I think it's wise to make a story focused game when you have art talent like you do.
I got killed by the baker! Great game I liked it. It has a different feeling
So much style! So much humor! Absolutely love it :grin:
I only played a little today, but I'll definitely revisit for more endings.
@dharby @shan-hsgames @purrseus Thank you!
I got Ending #3 and #2, I tried doing some things for #1, but ended up with #2 again. Liked the different options and how you find out more stuff as you keep playing, the color highlighting was helpful too. Nice job!
I played this for waaaaaaaaaaay longer than I should have. Very rarely do I see writing this clever in a LD entry. The world and the characters were all so great, and the story was simple and concise enough to warrant multiple playthroughs. This has gotta be one of my favorite entries so far, well done! :slight_smile:
@aeveis Ending #1 takes a quite different path from #2 so that's probably why. Thanks so much for playing!
@coleslaughter Thank you! :D
Well your lucky i like cookie :).
Wow, the story is great. I played it for a long time. You could make a dialogue better because I don't think people in the old times used to say ASAP (I might be wrong)
@herryfabien hehe xD @leo-red Thanks! Yea probably not, but I wasn't exactly going for historical accuracy in this game anyways lol
Absolutely love the art :D And the story line, if you did it alone (everything!) I have to throw my hat away as fast as possible. Amazing result

@erlioniel Thank you so much, it means a lot! :D

Did you have that 3.14... value in there just so you could make a pumpkin pi joke? If so, I approve. Great humor. I kicked the bucket knowing full well what would happen, but I did it anyway, just to confirm. (Also, full well -- get it?)
@elysiagriffin Thanks so much for playing :D @jitspoe Yea I'm really aiming for that Humor score on this one lol Thanks!
Wonderful art. Took me too long to figure out that space bar was the command to accept selection on the menu but other than that no complaints
Wow, you draw a lot of thigs, well done !
@simplepotential @gaming-night Thank you! :D
A fun time loop visual novel
@technogoth Thanks!
Wow, just wow! The humour was amazing, really enjoyed the game. Was wondering, how it can be the loop, until *SPOILER*. Loved it!
Great game! The art and the mood of the game are awesome! Maybe have the compatibility to play with mouse and also improve the transition animations when a character appears and disappears in the scene could improve a little the game. Also, add more effects and reactions to avoid the static-ness. Despite that, it's an awesome game. Clear and hilarious. Congrats!
@peterfonts @badabooom63 Thank you so much!
Loophole Kingdom
**I want Veronika to step on me.** That aside, this was a very fun read and playthrough, and even if it wasn't a fully fresh new concept, it was fun poking around the concept of the time loop as a way to actually explain replaying in-universe. Finding new paths you can take when you get information or knowledge from other loops helps explore that concept even further!
I've been following your art for a while and I've seen the impressive rate at which you publish art and you can see that same skill applied here! I'm amazed that you've written this many paths and different possibilities in the short time of the jam, whilst having everything well kept and polished together. The overall humour, including the useless options (always pet the horses) was also very on-point, including the self-awareness of the characters themselves! :laughing:
My only qualm with the game comes from its own nature though, as despite the time loop idea being a fun one, it does get repetive after a while. By the time I was at ~18 deaths, and was already in the later paths (by the time ending #2 and #5 happen) trying to find my missing endings, and I was mostly repeating me getting a cookie from the narrator, grabbing the bucket, getting the letter, and later-on dying to me experimenting different options to find the missing endings, death, rinse and repeat. Unfortunately, that made the first parts of each loop wear down progressively over time.
There are several ways that could be solved, such as being able to roll-back a choice that leads to a death instead of having to start over. However, I understand that given the jam limitations, you did what was possible. With that said, **I still enjoyed the 4 out of 6 endings I got!** Maybe given the chance I will go back and get the missing ones.
Thank you for the game, and I look forward to keeping up with your art and future games! **Cheers! :whale:**
@jorgegamedev Thank you so much for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed the game ^-^
Really fun game, I wasn't able to fully understand and only got 1 ending, but despite that I had a lot of fun. Also this made me laugh more than it should!
Congrats, this game has outstanding visuals, and there's a lot of content for a jam! Quite polished too. There was one annoying issue, that the up and down buttons were scrolling the whole page when it was not full screen. (Maybe it's a matter of a single `.preventDefault()` call somewhere?) But that didn't stop me from having fun and dying upwards of 5 times.
@techsec Thanks! Yea it takes a while to get it I think ;) @ditam Yup that was a problem some people have had, I will try fixing that once the jam is over. Thanks so much!
@mateusboga , I think this'll be ranked #1 in Humor when the results are in! I kept laughing out loud a lot! I love how when you kick the bucket, you really "kick the bucket" and you get to argue against the results. And I don't think I've ever seen a game where you get to die at the menu!
Fantastic job! It was really a fun challenge getting every ending, and I love how every object has a purpose! (I managed to figure out all of the items, and almost every possible dialogue combination. I got all six endings!)
@peace-of-cake-games Wow thank you! I don't think I had seen someone complete the whole game yet, you might be the first :D
