How does the game end? I don't know if it is a bug, but on one level the octopus kept touching the treasure but did not pass to the next level.
The ideia is very nice. (tks for web version) I'm impressed with the good ideas at Ludum.
But I have some opinions. I hope it is constructive: I think the help is taking up a lot of space on the screen. Treating money like $ is also not very cool for games (it looks like you need to pay something) switch to something more abstract. A more cartoon vector style would combine more with the style of the game. I hope I was constructive. Congratulations!
When i see splash screen i thinking. Hum... strange. But the game is very nice. I died a lot of times :)

Hey @thorn, tks for feed back. When we wrote the texts, we imagined a Rick and Morty style. Perhaps it lacked more context and ambiance? But I hope you had fun :)

@joh When we had the idea and it was winning among the ideas. We had this fear. Talk about Christmas in October? Santa's dungeon? Will it make sense... But even out of sense. We remember Tim Burton's Christmas film with Hallowen. In the end it was an interesting mix. This Christmas dungeon: D
