The voicelines are adorable, and the game is quite fun. Gotta say though, local co-op is a risky route to take on a jam like this.
Would've been nice to have some kind of boost, instead of both cars at the same speed. But nevertheless, well done! I enjoyed playing it :v:
Like the concept, its like the old track cars we had at home. To bad the ai was overpowered. Apart from that i feel this could be a really great game subgenre in racing games. Nicely done.

@wormjuice and @trypants we did plan to make the AI more error prone and like a real player, but never quite got around to that one before we ran out of time.
Nice absic idea, very fitting to the theme, however, i feel like the gameplay is maybe not the greatest.

Nice idea but it kind of seemed that once you get just a little bit behind, there's nothing you can do about it. Otherwise it's a good idea for this theme!
According to the boyfriend (who I played this with) it reminded him of his childhood. Nice game! It was fun to play.

Cool game! Nice sound effects and cool perspective. Seeing my car fly away in flames was a nice surprise :D
Liked the concept and aesthetic. Simple controls are great, but a bit more feedback on your current speed would have been useful. I could see some numbers at the edges of the screen that might have been showing this, but something easier to read out of the corner of your eye, like a car speedometer, would be very useful, so you could get used to the top safe speed for different corners.
This is the hardest game I found this LD, is it even possible to beat the AI? I can't even get close. But you made me try, so well played!
Ha! I love the "Kaboom!" sound effect! It genuinely had me laughing! Great job, but it's a bit too difficult for me!
This is amazing lol, love the sound effects and the graphics are nice too! Reminded me of playing slot cars with my dad. The AI was way better than me, my fastest lap is 6.4s
