The game is uploaded, enjoy
Great music and mood
The theme is amazing, gameplay is a bit challenging, due to the jump and fall animations being so quick. Also I would like the camera to scroll with the character a bit more closely. Apart from that this is amazing. I will definitely keep playing this for a while and try to beat it.
+Great music
+Cool player character with nice animations
+Snappy movement
-Jump could be a little less snappy
-camera could lead the way instead of dragging behind
Nice first entry!
Nice Unity project. Was that song an original recorded for the jam? Platformers in Unity can be tricky getting the controls right. I think you all did well with the character not clinging to walls like a lot of Unity platformers. But I found the jumping a little hard to control. I kept getting killed on what I assumed were simple obstacles like rocks.
Looks great...yes I died a lot...sometimes I had a hard time telling what would kill me. It looked great, and was fun.
Great game mate ! I love the music. The jump is a bit too gigh and fast for me, but still great job ! :)
came here to say nice music lol good job!
I really love the music for this, and the art style is unique and fun. The controls could be tuned, but that's not too important. I can't get past the rock on the lower ground, and there doesn't seem to be any context hints to show me how to proceed. All in all, I wish there were more of this to play. Great first game!
What a nice entry - congrats - very "stable" feel to the controls, but as others have mentioned ... the jumping is a bit tricky
:purple_heart: :dart: :frog:
Love the character design and music. My only complaint is that the camera lags too far behind the player :(
The atmosphere of the game is really great. I really like the music and artwork.
Wow, what a great first jam game guys! :D I like the art, especially the player character. The animtion is so smooth :O
The hard difficulty isn't a bad thing but perhaps add some checkpoints and make the jump a little less heavy so that the game is a bit more forgiving to the player.
very cool entry and very nice game! maybe the character could have stayed on the le left side of the screen. But it's pretty cool anyway. love the music!
Nice music!
There's a good deal of content, and the mood is good. The jump is not super fun to use, and I eventually lost my way and wasn't sure where to go. For a first game, this is excellent.
Amazing art and sound. The jump is way too quick and the gravity is way too strong. You should make it so that the camera keeps the player a bit closer to the middle because sometimes I would die from something I hadn't seen yet. Great job!
Loved the visuals and music, but found it quite hard to jump over the spikes. In my humble opinion, smoother jumps would be much responsive and the gameplay will benefit from it. Also found it a bit frustrating that music starts over when you die, making it harder to feel the relaxing atmosphere :)
Nice, but I couldn't finish the stage. =/
I didn't record time but the vocals of the song had been playing for a bit so I doubt I beat your time lol. But if this is the first game you made it's really good, the art was pretty and the character's animation looked good, the level design was alright, jumping was a little weird but I made do, and the music track you picked was chill. Keep it up!
Nice graphics and the audio matches the game well. A little work needed on the user controls, the jump doesn't feel quite right. It might be that the gravity pulls you down too quickly. I'd also like to see more look ahead. The character should probably stay in the middle of the screen because when he gets so far to the right it's hard to react to obstacles with no notice. Everything behind the player is just wasted space because you don't look at it once you pass it so no reason not to move the player back. Unfortunately, I couldn't get very far which is a shame, because it looks really nice and I was looking forward to seeing the rest of the levels. Otherwise, nice job. This game could shape up to be a lot of fun with a few minor tweaks. I hope you continue to work on it.
You are awesome guys, thanks a lot
