Awesome job, very fun.
Looks good, would you consider posting a WebGL version since you built it in Unity?
Nice job! That was a lot of fun to play. One suggestion I would make is on the SFX. Something felt a little off with the SFX. I liked the cheering but it seemed to end abruptly, possibly because they were moving up. Otherwise, the gameplay was solid and enjoyable. I liked the kids putting their hands in the air on the way down. That was a nice touch. Well done.
Looks nice, but was a bit too difficult for me to play. I think it would make a nice typing tutor if it started off easier and gradually got more difficult.
Great use of the theme! I totally didn't expect that. Awesome graphics and I loved the cutscene animations. So cool.
Neat mechanic. Took a bit of getting used to, but nothing wrong with that. Nice graphics.
That was a lot of fun to play.
Great artwork, looks really nice. It was fun to play and I like how you introduced new moves in the game.
Well done, I really enjoyed that. Even with the microtransactions, it was a bit challenging for me. Perhaps starting off a bit easier and building up the difficulty. It could be that I'm just a terrible gamer, though.
fun animations and easy to figure out UI.
Looks amazing. Seemed like it would be a very fun game but there are a couple of player controller bugs that make it difficult to play. If you get stuck in an immovable position, it would be nice to have a "retry?" button.
That was really enjoyable. Great job. I could see you expanding on this past the Jam with new rooms opening up over time.
@dogman DOH, we'll fix that. Thanks for the feedback. I'm glad to hear you liked it. I look forward to polishing it up more in the days to come.
Hmm, cool down is an interesting idea @ironwood777. It would probably give the player a bit of stress relief. Something we toyed with was the notion of entering a "sleep" phase between days. The sleep phase would be a dream sequence as a bonus level, but also meant to relax the user before tackling the next big day. We're talking about the possibility of posting the game on itch.io and continuing to develop it further after. This is definitely an area worth exploring. Thanks for the feedback!
LOL, @papasucre yes, that was our intent. ;) I'm glad you liked it.
@daoz, agreed, it would be good if we tweaked the balance a little. We ultimately want to have a cadence of satisfaction, fulfillment and stress. We want to stress you out. The game is a commentary on the current stressful cycle many of us working at home trying to manage a good work-life balance. However, like you mention the balance still needs a little tweaking.
Thanks @witekwitek, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm not entirely happy with the character either. I thought maybe having a person in a dress shirt and boxers might be funny seeing how many people only get dressed for what coworkers can see in Zoom meetings. Thanks for the feedback.
Cute game, was fun to play. Reminded me of Bruce Lee on the C=64 which is one of my favorite games.
Nice artwork. Was both fun and funny.
I laughed so hard playing that game.
Nice graphics and the audio matches the game well. A little work needed on the user controls, the jump doesn't feel quite right. It might be that the gravity pulls you down too quickly. I'd also like to see more look ahead. The character should probably stay in the middle of the screen because when he gets so far to the right it's hard to react to obstacles with no notice. Everything behind the player is just wasted space because you don't look at it once you pass it so no reason not to move the player back. Unfortunately, I couldn't get very far which is a shame, because it looks really nice and I was looking forward to seeing the rest of the levels. Otherwise, nice job. This game could shape up to be a lot of fun with a few minor tweaks. I hope you continue to work on it.
Nice artwork and animations. Sure did feel like you were stuck in a loop.
