Cool little time-pressure resource clicker! :D I tried three times and got quite close the third time. It was hard to 'feel' the balance of the resources under such time pressure. Perhaps adding a different color to each resource (and strongly highlighted when active) would give more of a feel for the balance.

The first exploding nuclear plant caught me by surprise, was concentrating hard, nice touch to give more pressure. ;)

I hope your game will be more played. Overall the mechanics is very interesting and work well. I played 3 time without succeeding but i was close. I'm not a fan of puzzle game so i'll not have much feedback to make but the music was great and i liked playing it. Thanks :)

Fun game! The time limit added a nice amount of challenge and interest to it. Won on my 3rd game with ~15 seconds to go, pretty intense! Balance is pretty good, I had one game with seemingly few power generating squares but otherwise it was solid. I like the use of sound, especially the nuclear power plant cue (though the explosion scared the bejesus out of me!) and the music is very appropriate. The animation for active squares was a nice touch, though I would reiterate the above feedback about color, which would help the player see all of their options at a glance - super important when it gets down to the wire. Also, for some reason it was reeeaaaally slow to load after clicking start game, on both firefox and chrome (on Windows). Would certainly be cool to see this improved upon. Nice work!

Thank you all for your comments so far! We are aware the game takes a bit time to start, which is a result of unoptimised terrain genartion method... but it got lower priority before, say, being able to win the game ;-)

Reading that you got close to winning is a good sign for the balance, but shame you did not experience the joy of escape from the planet ;-)

Thanks again!

A bit confusing at first, but once I got the concept it's an incredibly tense game. Really like the shaking of the tiles.

Very complete experience for something made in three days! This works by itself, but I could also see it as amini-game at the end of something else.

Solid entry even if a bit hard. I didn't manage to win, unfortunately :p Anyway, I really enjoyed the resource system and whole concept of field-wise generation of them. Good job!

Really different game. Great sense of pressure from the audio as well as visual effects. Pretty hard to figure out what to prioritize under so much pressure.

Dynamite game! Explosions were great. I played it a few times and each time I learned a little more about how the game worked...I didn't read the intro thing and didn't really need to. Great job!!

Not working for me, saying that the browser can't allocate enough memory :(

Cool Game

A very unique intersting and very deep gameplay.

Nice Job keep working

I always lika a good puzzle game! Tha you had to both scout and enable resources was at first a bit unintuative, but when I understood the mecanic it made a lot of sense and made the game very enjoyable.

szimano 2017-05-16 17:51

shame @ccglp - we are aware that there's some unnecessary resource overuse while generating the planet mask, but since that was 72 hours only optimizations did not have the highest priority :D Maybe you could try different browser?

zener 2017-05-16 21:13

Great game. I managed to scape on second try. Despite being an strategy game it is very easy to learn. Explosion sound got me by surprise! Congrats

random-storykeeper 2017-05-16 22:47

I can see what you mean; at first I was confused about what to do, but realised that certain contraptions, when enabled, can work together to produce the right amount of resources. I had issues with the energy allotment for searching, but realised it wasn't as huge a deal when I could figure out how to generate energy. I didn't quite understand why resources exploded, but it was kind of funny when things just magically combusted. I liked the explosion effects quite a bit in this game.

The only significant areas I could really see in need for improvement are the UI buttons (probably like that because of the time, I'm guessing; the text in the menu and help buttons was great) and also pausing the timer when the player is reading the Help menu. (Why does the clock keep ticking when the player just wants to figure out how to play the game?) Other than that, I really like the black and white icons, and like I said earlier, the explosion effects. I can also echo the comments from earlier that the game takes a noticeably long time to start up (on Chrome) and even freezes a bit. Also, nice music choice; it's calming but still has a sense of urgency while being somewhat outer spacey.

By the time I believe I was close to leaving, time ran out. :(

It took me too long to figure out what I was suppose to do, but once I did, it became very clear. You have to get that perfect engine balance going to get resources fast enough. This was a very neat concept. :D

m-1 2017-05-19 22:56

Resource management is rather tricky, especially when there are 5 resource types and the tiles constantly explode. But without challenge it would not be fun!

The UI could be improved - instead of showing a "two-item-menu" when clicking a tile, the tile could just activate/deactivate. The menu could start showing only when Spaceport becomes available, or the Spaceport could be created by doubleclicking (PC) or long-tapping/holding (on tablets) on a tile, but that would need to be documented and people are lazy to read...

Tip: Using colors would help players to quickly identify tile types.

Bug?/Optimization: When the timer gets closer to zero, the FPS drops.

It's a nice game that is both relaxing and challenging!

Pretty cool little game. Loved the explosion at the end which I saw each time I played (in other words I don't think I ever got close to winning). Load times were a bit heavy.

himeija 2017-05-20 14:11

I'm not sure I understood everything but the game looks great!
