Nice game, didn't expect you would be flying over the whole world. :D (it's only a bit repetative, a random landing area would be cool.)
@conk will do it now Edit: single run-time exe is uploaded :)
ver fun game, very nice graphics and audio. The controlls are also easy to learn without reading the discription :P . I only dont understand why my little creatures (utans?) died... :( I also found a bug, when your are shooting the laser and you die the sound will keep on going in the next game without using the laser.
Well made and polished game liked the calming soundtrack and the concept, although the game was a bit hard I would love to see it developped(?) further
Really nice game, I also liked the pacing of it although it was a bit stressfull. ;)
My Favorite game so far, raelly like the concept and art style!
very fun game! Got a highscore of about 300 000, a way of repairing the world would maybe be usefull. ;)
very interesting mechanic, would love to see some more levels though.
Nice game, I really liked the graphics and the music. I also liked the menu's haven't seen them this polished in other games I've played. I only didn't really understand the movement.
Nice game, really liked the sound and graphics and overall concept. well done. scored: 630.
very fun game, my highscore is 2017.
Nice game, liked the art and the audio, and the concept was fine, the one thing I would defenitly add are bullets which you can see :), also some sext went over the edges in my game , overall a good first ludum dare game.
Nice Game, really challenging, but one of the most fun I've played. I suck at the wall jumps though XD.
@cocapasteque thanks for playing my game, you can restart the game by pressing R.
@jupiter-hadley thanks for playing :)
Nice game, Liked the humour and the ads. It fits very well with the theme. Good job.
Cool game, didn't get the ending really, my phone died, is that game over?
@mike-inprinciple oh I hadn't thought of that, I'll try to come up with a reason so you can't do that in the post jam version.
@mateusboga thanks for the feedback, the arms are supposed to be like "zombie arms", but now I see what they really are doing...😕
@mateusboga haha thanks xD
@blinkenlights hmm, this seems weird. What browser were you using?
@blinkenlights aha, I haven't tested it on both Linux and Firefox, that might be the issue. ( I've tested it on windows, edge and chrome and mac with safari.)
@blinkenlights I don't know either but I myself haven't experienced freezes my self.
@jupiter-hadley thanks for playing, it was fun to see "live" feedback on my game!
@nnnikki haha thanks, but I use GameMaker Studio 1.4 and the html export was on a humble bundle twice. So for 30 dollars I got the pro version, html and android export.
@killing-kitty I'm glad you like it. That bug is because of a typo in the code... in the post jam version the enemies will despawn when frozen, as intended.
Very fun and addicting game! some improvements could be made, but one of my favorites so far! my highscore was 2770
Nice concept, but hard! if this would be a full game with a tutorial and such it difficulty scaling it would be more fun . I also enjoyed the audio a lot.
Wow! best game I've played yet. It's very hard stuck at the water level but nearly at the end of it I think.the music combines with the game well.
@vlandemart Thanks for the feedback, the weird bugs seem to have come along with the update we uploaded today(the jam version is downloadable) to html as they aren't present in the windows version. After some testing I believe it's the particle system memory leak and I hope to get a working version online by the end of the week.
There is also no reload button in the game, "R" restarts the game... your health is indeed random, (lower health = more attack power and more health = less attack power).
Edit: I think the bug is fixed, but if you encounter it again please let me know :)
Very cool! Everything plays very well (sounds and art are great too), but I think I reached the end (on top of the tower) and it doesn't show it clearly.
Very interesting mechanic, it's quite unique. The game was however quite difficult and I had to check the postjam version to see what the different sacrifices did. If this game gets a bit more polish it's a nice starting point for a "bigger" game.
The game felt very nice and the music is nice to. However there is a bug where if you jump of a wall twice you get stuck in a endless fall animation, which means that you can't finish the level.
Nice game, I really liked the music! There are some things that can be improved, for example on the hmtl version the mouse isn't visible which makes it hard to aim. I also think the camera should follow the player a bit faster sometimes I couldn't see what was coming next. But overall a fine jam game!
Very well made and an interesting spin on a well known "problem". I think this is a good base for a larger puzzle game. Well done!
The atmosphere, music and art in this game are great, I also really like the concept. However, I think some of the gameplay is too luck based.
Neat Game, The audio is quite well made and the graphics also seems fitting. Sometimes hits wouldn't land which I tought should land. But overall a good game!
The game was quite fun and the music and art were very nice. There are however a few collision issues and the jumping felt a bit off and I've seen a few games with the same concept. But overall a nice jam game!
@fabighindaru @nigeynige @thoastbot @forestofcode thanks for the feedback! ( @forestofcode, some of the upgrades are rotation speed and acceleration, so it's possible to upgrade them. But it might be a bit too harsh early game)
The conecept is pretty good, however there is not really an incentive (as far as I know) to not dig straight down. As I could finish each level by just finding the column with the least stones and spamming down. I did like the graphics and the music/audio was also pretty well done! If there would be some more strategy/incentive do explore each level it would add a lot more fun to the game.
Pretty cool art and mood, there was quite some down-time between levels, but the concept was fun and easy to expand with more puzzles. I did find one bug, where when interacting with "E" while climbing will make you move in that direction while the menu is up. Letting you do this :Untitled.png
@novicedevgames @2thegamechanger @erroneous @nales @oillen Thanks for all the feedback :) Some of the upgrades are indeed very strong compared to the others. I also just fixed the cursor going off screen, as this wasn't happening in the windows export, but the HTML5 version had some weird quirks.
@ategon yeah, that's totally fine :)
That was really fun! I liked how it was basically an escape room in game form. All the puzzles had no explanation yet it was easy to figure out what to do. really nice job, my favorite so far :)
Really liked this, the idea of having extra weight which can be felt in the movement is nice. The art was also really good. the game is really hard though. I'd like to see the kelp ball be able to fall down and cascade into more points. Nice game :)
Very relaxing game :relaxed:. The audio and visuals really add to the mood. The building was also really fun as you want to create a nice house but also get points. Really enjoyed it! :)
pretty nice game that fits the theme well. I did get stuck after a while with out being able to press anything :( The music and sound effects fit the aesthetic well. After a few goes I decided to just build a large tower and got tp ~30 000 score
I've played a lot of spelunky, so the controls were intuitive enough for me (except that attack and jump are switched but oh well). I like the implementation of the mechanic, having certain enemies that increase the space is nice. I do wish there would be some more different enemy types, at the moment it was possible to stand on the same block and alternate between attacking left and right without much difficulty.
Man that sand is quick! It reminds me a lot of 10 second ninja somehow. I like the concept of the game I would like to be able to see the level for a few seconds before starting to be able to create a plan. Other than that I'd also increase the item sizes a bit as it can be a bit fidgety. Overall I do like the idea a lot :).
I really like the aesthetic of the game. The gameplay is not the most thrilling, but if the intention is to be a more educational game it works well in showing how letters are encoded in ascii & has a fun little puzzle attached to it. :)
I really like the concept of this game, However, I think at the moment it is a bit hard to understand what I need to do to progress. On my first playthrough I constantly was out of energy and just having to wait feels pretty bad. On my second go I prioritized generators, which seemed to work better. I believe with all the different components there could be quite some depth in the game. I really liked the graphisc and the music was also nice. Overall very nice game for the jam. :)
I really liked this, it feels like the player has more freedom than a typical puzzle game and thus feels more like designing a solution than finding the only option. Great stuff :)
Wow, really nice game! It fits the theme really well and the mechanic is very fun. It lends itself well to puzzle-like parts as well as platformer parts. I do wish the "human" movement was a bit less floaty as it made it hard to stay on the platforms sometimes. The art and was also quite atmospheric and even tough the music loop was short it was enjoyable. Good stuff!
Quick satisfying game :)
Pretty fun game, got to #18Screenshot 2024-10-21 011336.png
@Q-ro @SeaHam @Memel06 @benskca @Lazlo319 @Carvster @noumenus @leorototo @gogo199432 @the-enigma @soylalluvia @lazlo319 @TIMOTHEUS-25 @battleZays @Jupiter-Hadley thanks for the comments :smile:
@Jiri-hysek thanks for the comment, I like the idea of obstacles may ipmlement them.
@fashionbatman thanks for playing, I just fixed the bug yesterday and might upload a new version today.
nice game, I think music would make it more fun and some polished graphics would also help. But fun concept, highest score I got was around 70. I like that you can combine the power ups to make them stronger. I like that you can combine the power ups to make them strong
Very fun game, would be super if it was multiplayer but that (I think) way too hard for a jam.
nice game, played it with my sister and it was fun.
Nice game, and impressive work, however I think some sounds and music would make it a lot better (I didn't hear any).
Nice game, fun combinations!
@prunus-padis thanks for the feedback! The signal strength not working for coins is intentional, otherwise the balancing for the game would be even harder. (I tried to explain it in the description of the money receiver but I'll try to make it more clear for the post-jam version) I was unsure if buying blind would be fun as you get surprised, but after this feedback it will probably also be something I change for the post-jam version.
Really cool artstyle and cool interpretation of the theme!
Very cool concept, the controls were a bit floaty and on the last level most of it could be skipped by going fast. The puzzles were pretty fun :)
Just finished the game, I really liked the atmosphere and the music! It felt like something out of blade runner. The game was quite simple and felt like most of the gameplay was walking long distances (but the emptiness does fit with the mood/music imo). I think the explanation text at the beginning could stay a bit longer as I barely had enough time to read it. I agree with Madbarron that finding the locks before the keys would be more fun.
Pretty neat little game, I liked the storytelling and the music/mood was good too. I'd like to see more consequences of choices, so maybe allow for only one option on some of the planets.
Really cool game, the cables are a bit finicky, but it was cool seeing the story told in small snippets.
quite atmospheric and the audio is nice, it's a bit short though.
Really cool concept! took a little while to figure out to do on the first level but once figured out its quite simple. The vertical row really makes for a fun puzzle game!
Cool concept! I think there could be a bit more easy puzzles to get used to the mechanics
Pretty cool game, I would prefer prefer upgrading throughout a run instead of between runs, but overall the gameplay was satisfying and fits the theme very well!
