LD36 — Ancient Technology

Looks Old by Jiri_One 2016-09-01T05:39:00

Steph88, I think I can upload the game to indiecpo, and thanks for your nice comment.

LD38 — A Small World

Anger Birb: World by Jezzamon 2017-05-10T14:00:45Z

Nice game, didn't expect you would be flying over the whole world. :D (it's only a bit repetative, a random landing area would be cool.)

Earth Quest by Jiri_One 2017-05-13T14:51:56Z

@conk will do it now Edit: single run-time exe is uploaded :)

My world by Erkberg 2017-05-12T19:18:49Z

WOW, amazing game (didn't expect that). : D

Age of Utan by Yetikatt 2017-05-17T19:09:42Z

ver fun game, very nice graphics and audio. The controlls are also easy to learn without reading the discription :P . I only dont understand why my little creatures (utans?) died... :( I also found a bug, when your are shooting the laser and you die the sound will keep on going in the next game without using the laser.

(Web) The Small Worlds by lukethecoder64 2017-05-18T13:00:54Z

Well made and polished game liked the calming soundtrack and the concept, although the game was a bit hard I would love to see it developped(?) further

Around the world in 80 Seconds! by 4kbshort 2017-05-10T14:05:24Z

Really nice game, I also liked the pacing of it although it was a bit stressfull. ;)

CHEM TRIALS by Hegemege 2017-05-10T15:53:45Z

My Favorite game so far, raelly like the concept and art style!

Satellite Bash by Elemental Zeal Game Studios 2017-05-11T12:16:57Z

very fun game! Got a highscore of about 300 000, a way of repairing the world would maybe be usefull. ;)

Cell Out! by frogcheese 2017-05-11T12:22:57Z

very interesting mechanic, would love to see some more levels though.

Crates by diVe 2017-05-12T20:28:03Z

Fun game and I like the mechanics, but I didn't really like the music...

Plutus by Apostate Games 2017-05-14T09:22:19Z

Nice game, I really liked the graphics and the music. I also liked the menu's haven't seen them this polished in other games I've played. I only didn't really understand the movement.

Globe Guzzler by Eli Delventhal 2017-05-16T14:08:39Z

Nice game, really liked the sound and graphics and overall concept. well done. scored: 630.

Minor Alternative Destroyer by wolderado 2017-05-18T13:40:05Z

very fun game, my highscore is 2017.

Last Breath by nikrt 2017-05-17T19:31:24Z

Nice game, liked the art and the audio, and the concept was fine, the one thing I would defenitly add are bullets which you can see :), also some sext went over the edges in my game , overall a good first ludum dare game.

Not Enough Room by rubyleehs 2017-05-15T15:32:02Z

Nice Game, really challenging, but one of the most fun I've played. I suck at the wall jumps though XD.

LD40 — The more you have, the worse it is

Hats On! by recursor 2017-12-04T16:25:19Z

Nice entry, got a new high score :).

Space Special by Jiri_One 2017-12-04T12:05:29Z

@cocapasteque thanks for playing my game, you can restart the game by pressing R.

Space Special by Jiri_One 2017-12-08T16:02:22Z

@jupiter-hadley thanks for playing :)

MEGA by Yetman 2017-12-05T15:04:54Z

Nice game, liked the Idea and was well executed. Only the movement felt a bit "floaty" this could, in my opinion, be improved by making the jump distance a bit further compared to the jump height. Also nice graphics.

Free to Play by Hooraygil 2017-12-05T15:47:34Z

Nice game, Liked the humour and the ads. It fits very well with the theme. Good job.

POKED - be social by Faktori 2017-12-06T17:19:18Z

Cool game, didn't get the ending really, my phone died, is that game over?

LD42 — Running out of space

Ice n Fire by Jiri_One 2018-08-13T08:46:56Z

@mike-inprinciple oh I hadn't thought of that, I'll try to come up with a reason so you can't do that in the post jam version.

Ice n Fire by Jiri_One 2018-08-14T12:15:04Z

@mateusboga thanks for the feedback, the arms are supposed to be like "zombie arms", but now I see what they really are doing...😕

Ice n Fire by Jiri_One 2018-08-14T12:31:36Z

@mateusboga haha thanks xD

Ice n Fire by Jiri_One 2018-08-14T19:02:26Z

@blinkenlights hmm, this seems weird. What browser were you using?

Ice n Fire by Jiri_One 2018-08-14T19:21:21Z

@blinkenlights aha, I haven't tested it on both Linux and Firefox, that might be the issue. ( I've tested it on windows, edge and chrome and mac with safari.)

Ice n Fire by Jiri_One 2018-08-14T20:16:17Z

@blinkenlights I don't know either but I myself haven't experienced freezes my self.

Ice n Fire by Jiri_One 2018-08-17T15:39:18Z

@jupiter-hadley thanks for playing, it was fun to see "live" feedback on my game!

Ice n Fire by Jiri_One 2018-08-19T08:22:13Z

@nnnikki haha thanks, but I use GameMaker Studio 1.4 and the html export was on a humble bundle twice. So for 30 dollars I got the pro version, html and android export.

Ice n Fire by Jiri_One 2018-08-19T08:24:59Z

@killing-kitty I'm glad you like it. That bug is because of a typo in the code... in the post jam version the enemies will despawn when frozen, as intended.

Tiny Kingdom Builder by RenD 2018-08-17T10:44:54Z

Very fun and addicting game! some improvements could be made, but one of my favorites so far! my highscore was 2770

Leave by SimonTheCase 2018-08-13T10:58:41Z

Nice concept, but hard! if this would be a full game with a tutorial and such it difficulty scaling it would be more fun . I also enjoyed the audio a lot.

Zlinx by frontlinesaint 2018-08-13T15:24:17Z

Wow! best game I've played yet. It's very hard stuck at the water level but nearly at the end of it I think.the music combines with the game well.

LD43 — Sacrifices must be made

Antlerman by Jiri_One 2018-12-03T20:33:51Z

@luqey Thanks for the feedback, I just fixed the infinite screen shake bug.

Antlerman by Jiri_One 2018-12-09T13:22:26Z

@cr0wns Thanks for the feedback We realized that the finding of the altar can be quite boring, so in the post jam version we gave the player a compass 😄

Antlerman by Jiri_One 2018-12-13T10:37:39Z

@skigfx, thanks for the feedback, we were actually planning on fixing that problem today (: .

Antlerman by Jiri_One 2018-12-13T18:21:52Z

@gaming-night thanks :), they were done by @eyalunya.

Antlerman by Jiri_One 2018-12-13T19:29:13Z

@royur, hmm that's weird I only encountered that in the html version but I thought I fixed it...

Antlerman by Jiri_One 2018-12-13T21:30:48Z

@vlandemart Thanks for the feedback, the weird bugs seem to have come along with the update we uploaded today(the jam version is downloadable) to html as they aren't present in the windows version. After some testing I believe it's the particle system memory leak and I hope to get a working version online by the end of the week.

There is also no reload button in the game, "R" restarts the game... your health is indeed random, (lower health = more attack power and more health = less attack power).

Edit: I think the bug is fixed, but if you encounter it again please let me know :)

Antlerman by Jiri_One 2018-12-16T08:28:36Z

@jfraser314, @royur The bug that crashed the game has been found, it was an infinite loop in the mage code. If you want to play a more stable build, its on the itch.io page

Revolver Curse by SkullPixel 2018-12-04T18:04:33Z

Very cool! Everything plays very well (sounds and art are great too), but I think I reached the end (on top of the tower) and it doesn't show it clearly.

The Tearable Three by grandtheftmarmot 2018-12-06T16:38:58Z

Very interesting mechanic, it's quite unique. The game was however quite difficult and I had to check the postjam version to see what the different sacrifices did. If this game gets a bit more polish it's a nice starting point for a "bigger" game.

Hyper Skater by neowhoru 2018-12-04T15:07:11Z

The game felt very nice and the music is nice to. However there is a bug where if you jump of a wall twice you get stuck in a endless fall animation, which means that you can't finish the level.

Wild Heat Showdown by Akusan 2018-12-06T16:21:22Z

Nice game, I really liked the music! There are some things that can be improved, for example on the hmtl version the mouse isn't visible which makes it hard to aim. I also think the camera should follow the player a bit faster sometimes I couldn't see what was coming next. But overall a fine jam game!

Trolley Troubles by randomphantom 2018-12-09T10:57:10Z

Very well made and an interesting spin on a well known "problem". I think this is a good base for a larger puzzle game. Well done!

Altruist Project by syverlauritz 2018-12-05T14:45:19Z

The atmosphere, music and art in this game are great, I also really like the concept. However, I think some of the gameplay is too luck based.

Death Wish by Derek Volker 2018-12-06T16:30:10Z

Neat Game, The audio is quite well made and the graphics also seems fitting. Sometimes hits wouldn't land which I tought should land. But overall a good game!

For Brain ! by nolifedev 2018-12-04T15:01:59Z

The game was quite fun and the music and art were very nice. There are however a few collision issues and the jumping felt a bit off and I've seen a few games with the same concept. But overall a nice jam game!

LD46 — Keep it alive

Cat Ball by pabulum 2020-04-22T07:41:28Z

pretty fun idea and gameplay, though it was pretty hard at times. I liked that it was both a puzzle (where and when to kick the ball) as well as a platformer (trying to reach the positions where to kick the ball).

LD48 — Deeper and deeper

Deep Sea Whale Mechanic by Jiri_One 2021-04-26T10:04:15Z

@fabighindaru @nigeynige @thoastbot @forestofcode thanks for the feedback! ( @forestofcode, some of the upgrades are rotation speed and acceleration, so it's possible to upgrade them. But it might be a bit too harsh early game)

Depth by SaraJS 2021-04-26T10:10:10Z

Those stairs are brutal

Dwarven Delver by cavedens 2021-04-26T10:23:53Z

The conecept is pretty good, however there is not really an incentive (as far as I know) to not dig straight down. As I could finish each level by just finding the column with the least stones and spamming down. I did like the graphics and the music/audio was also pretty well done! If there would be some more strategy/incentive do explore each level it would add a lot more fun to the game.

Caves of the Forgotten by CorbenG 2021-04-26T08:25:23Z

Pretty cool art and mood, there was quite some down-time between levels, but the concept was fun and easy to expand with more puzzles. I did find one bug, where when interacting with "E" while climbing will make you move in that direction while the menu is up. Letting you do this :Untitled.png

LD54 — Limited Space

Cosmic Chaos by Jiri_One 2023-10-02T12:10:18Z

@novicedevgames @2thegamechanger @erroneous @nales @oillen Thanks for all the feedback :) Some of the upgrades are indeed very strong compared to the others. I also just fixed the cursor going off screen, as this wasn't happening in the windows export, but the HTML5 version had some weird quirks.

Cosmic Chaos by Jiri_One 2023-10-11T09:10:30Z

@ategon yeah, that's totally fine :)

Vessel Pressure by AlexClay 2023-10-02T21:31:32Z

That was really fun! I liked how it was basically an escape room in game form. All the puzzles had no explanation yet it was easy to figure out what to do. really nice job, my favorite so far :)

Sea Kelp Tower by HacksawUnit 2023-10-02T10:30:00Z

Really liked this, the idea of having extra weight which can be felt in the movement is nice. The art was also really good. the game is really hard though. I'd like to see the kelp ball be able to fall down and cascade into more points. Nice game :)

Seagull Island | L'île aux Goélands by Seb_degraff 2023-10-02T21:48:51Z

Very relaxing game :relaxed:. The audio and visuals really add to the mood. The building was also really fun as you want to create a nice house but also get points. Really enjoyed it! :)

Whack-a-Soul by JavaSaurus 2023-10-02T10:53:34Z

pretty nice game that fits the theme well. I did get stuck after a while with out being able to press anything :( The music and sound effects fit the aesthetic well. After a few goes I decided to just build a large tower and got tp ~30 000 score

Piper by Kjip 2023-10-02T10:45:51Z

This game fits the theme really well, except it is basically the same as a very popular mobile game called flow. Although it is very similar its still nice and the puzzles were very fun.

Girder Panic by matt1will 2023-10-02T21:10:23Z

I've played a lot of spelunky, so the controls were intuitive enough for me (except that attack and jump are switched but oh well). I like the implementation of the mechanic, having certain enemies that increase the space is nice. I do wish there would be some more different enemy types, at the moment it was possible to stand on the same block and alternate between attacking left and right without much difficulty.

Quicksand by Deruitda 2023-10-02T21:22:19Z

Man that sand is quick! It reminds me a lot of 10 second ninja somehow. I like the concept of the game I would like to be able to see the level for a few seconds before starting to be able to create a plan. Other than that I'd also increase the item sizes a bit as it can be a bit fidgety. Overall I do like the idea a lot :).

Ascii commando by nullval 2023-10-02T21:17:36Z

I really like the aesthetic of the game. The gameplay is not the most thrilling, but if the intention is to be a more educational game it works well in showing how letters are encoded in ascii & has a fun little puzzle attached to it. :)

[] by FrodoB4884 2023-10-01T09:58:34Z

I saw the end :)

saw the end.png

CaveBots by quasilyte 2023-10-02T10:22:04Z

I really like the concept of this game, However, I think at the moment it is a bit hard to understand what I need to do to progress. On my first playthrough I constantly was out of energy and just having to wait feels pretty bad. On my second go I prioritized generators, which seemed to work better. I believe with all the different components there could be quite some depth in the game. I really liked the graphisc and the music was also nice. Overall very nice game for the jam. :)

Clearing space by Sevansevan 2023-10-02T10:07:19Z

I really liked this, it feels like the player has more freedom than a typical puzzle game and thus feels more like designing a solution than finding the only option. Great stuff :)

unBound by mz_eth 2023-10-02T10:35:53Z

Wow, really nice game! It fits the theme really well and the mechanic is very fun. It lends itself well to puzzle-like parts as well as platformer parts. I do wish the "human" movement was a bit less floaty as it made it hard to stay on the platforms sometimes. The art and was also quite atmospheric and even tough the music loop was short it was enjoyable. Good stuff!

LD56 — Tiny Creatures

Blobbies by tuism 2024-10-11T13:19:00Z

Fun quick game, and well polished

Space Ants X by AlexClay 2024-10-09T17:42:20Z

Quick satisfying game :)

Blood Crux by Dmitry Kaidash 2024-10-20T23:14:20Z

Pretty fun game, got to #18Screenshot 2024-10-21 011336.png

Laverino by Kirass 2024-10-09T13:48:30Z

Interesting concept, I find some of the controls a bit finicky. But for three days it was decent :)

LD41 — Combine 2 Incompatible Genres

Daunting Dungeon by Jiri_One 2018-04-24T20:03:23Z

@Q-ro @SeaHam @Memel06 @benskca @Lazlo319 @Carvster @noumenus @leorototo @gogo199432 @the-enigma @soylalluvia @lazlo319 @TIMOTHEUS-25 @battleZays @Jupiter-Hadley thanks for the comments :smile:

Daunting Dungeon by Jiri_One 2018-04-29T20:39:12Z

@Jiri-hysek thanks for the comment, I like the idea of obstacles may ipmlement them.

Daunting Dungeon by Jiri_One 2018-05-08T14:38:08Z

@fashionbatman thanks for playing, I just fixed the bug yesterday and might upload a new version today.

Snakeout by BoltKey 2018-04-23T16:24:54Z

nice game, I think music would make it more fun and some polished graphics would also help. But fun concept, highest score I got was around 70. I like that you can combine the power ups to make them stronger. I like that you can combine the power ups to make them strong

Soccer Battle Royale by ditzel 2018-04-23T17:32:46Z

Very fun game, would be super if it was multiplayer but that (I think) way too hard for a jam.

The Fish and the Furious by Relsqui 2018-04-25T14:23:13Z

nice game, played it with my sister and it was fun.

SSSS by PlusMinus 2018-04-27T13:16:02Z

Looks and plays wel, I believe that it would be better if I knew what I was doing, maybe a tutorial would make it easier for the player. Overall fun game.

KEYBOARD WARRIOR by croewens 2018-04-25T09:32:14Z

Nice game, and impressive work, however I think some sounds and music would make it a lot better (I didn't hear any).

The Magic Shotgun Coloring Book by BenPeterson 2018-04-23T17:15:27Z

Nice game, fun combinations!

LD59 — Signal

Signodia by Jiri_One 2026-04-21T09:36:38Z

@prunus-padis thanks for the feedback! The signal strength not working for coins is intentional, otherwise the balancing for the game would be even harder. (I tried to explain it in the description of the money receiver but I'll try to make it more clear for the post-jam version) I was unsure if buying blind would be fun as you get surprised, but after this feedback it will probably also be something I change for the post-jam version.

What's that signal? by Local Minimum 2026-04-26T07:47:13Z

Really cool artstyle and cool interpretation of the theme!

TRAPTOMB by fullmontis 2026-04-21T09:16:19Z

Very cool concept, the controls were a bit floaty and on the last level most of it could be skipped by going fast. The puzzles were pretty fun :)

Signal Epsilon by automatonvx 2026-04-26T07:37:16Z

Just finished the game, I really liked the atmosphere and the music! It felt like something out of blade runner. The game was quite simple and felt like most of the gameplay was walking long distances (but the emptiness does fit with the mood/music imo). I think the explanation text at the beginning could stay a bit longer as I barely had enough time to read it. I agree with Madbarron that finding the locks before the keys would be more fun.

Precious Spacimens by Prakkus 2026-05-08T06:33:56Z

Pretty neat little game, I liked the storytelling and the music/mood was good too. I'd like to see more consequences of choices, so maybe allow for only one option on some of the planets.

Switchboard Operator by CaptainSpoof 2026-04-23T14:01:30Z

Really cool game, the cables are a bit finicky, but it was cool seeing the story told in small snippets.

White noise by Nikiroz 2026-04-21T09:06:37Z

quite atmospheric and the audio is nice, it's a bit short though.

Dot Dash Mash by chybby 2026-04-26T07:56:29Z

Really cool concept! took a little while to figure out to do on the first level but once figured out its quite simple. The vertical row really makes for a fun puzzle game!

Finnicky Fourier Toy by nathmate 2026-04-21T08:08:53Z

Cool concept! I think there could be a bit more easy puzzles to get used to the mechanics

Signal King by Tetramollaxx 2026-04-21T09:00:44Z

Pretty cool game, I would prefer prefer upgrading throughout a run instead of between runs, but overall the gameplay was satisfying and fits the theme very well!
