Hilarious!
What a good game. Very impressive.
I like the immersion, just wished I could throw the bomb back out the window. Clean look was nice. Good work!
I really like it! This visual style, and the humor is really good. I would definitely buy such a game if it was variable in the endings. Super!
Fun game!
Good thing you had an autosave because I was so busy laughing about the "I had a family" that I actually missed the timer
I enjoyed it.
This was great. I enjoyed the different routes. A+ comedy right here!
Hilarious, funniest entry I've played lol. I really had fun here. The conversation was really funny. I also like that you allow for using knowledge you gain later earlier on. Very clever and well-done!
What a great adventure!
You made the most out of this hilarious story. The graphics are nice, the mini-games are splendid and the voice-over really made me chuckle all the way through! Well done!
So I started this thinking it would be kinda dull, but was extremely pleasantly surprised. Reminds me a lot of the Stanley Parable. The turning around for 6 seconds thing was really clever!
I tiny bit of feedback - I found the look sensitivity was really high, a slider would have been nice :)
Thanks for the game and congrats on submitting!
Dialog was on point! Also had it to play it again, just to see.. you know.. what happens:) Bonus points for the color theme!
Most humorous game I've seen so far. The colors and style and story all went very well together! Very nice job. I hope you got to enjoy your cup of coffee irl!
Oh my word, this was such a hilarious experience!
Pros:
- Excellent dialogue - Multiple 'quests' to do - Graphical fidelity really matches the game feeling - SFX on point - Humor out of the roof - Funny as hell
Cons:
- Someone already said that, but I wish there was an immediate ending where your throw the bomb out of the window with a casual dialogue like 'I don't need this shieeeet' and someone screaming outside.
That sort of games really defines the spirit of Ludum Dare. Excellent job!
damn what a great entry! Loved the voice acting especially and what a unique take on the theme, really impressed. Really good job, well done :v: :)
I had difficulty looking around easily even with sensitivity a minimum but I really enjoyed the voice acting, and the dry humor. Great work
Loved it lol, the humour was great. I like that you added a custom voice line if you try "the thing" before reaching the end.
Ha! Ridiculous and hilarious! I love you too!
I'm so glad I took a look at the source, realized that there's more, and ran this a second time. The volume is a bit low here, so I didn't quite hear the speech clearly, and just thought that pressing a button is all there is. Sometimes simple normalization isn't enough and you need to do [dynamic range compression](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dynamic_range_compression) to bring recordings to audible levels. CC can also help, but this is Compo so yeah.
Game is hilarious. Great work!
A super funny and very well made little jam game. I love the voice acting. The gameplay idea is simple and fun. Overall a really good compo game. Well done.
Really funny and well-polished game. I actually completed it several times to see what happens :D
Lol this was hilarious and great and fits the theme perfectly. My only regret is that I did not adjust the mouse sensitivity earlier, it gave me so much trouble at the start. Great voice acting!
This game is my winner. Very fun and keeps pressure till the end.
This is the best use of the theme I've seen so far, and the game is hilarious, the graphics are amazing. Great game, even better considering it's a compo submission! Well done!
omg another fellow bomb game!! great voice acting and riveting gameplay, though I do wonder why the protagonist couldn't have thrown the bomb back out the window
Really funny
It's funny and well done for the intended purpose! Voice acting was really sold it. Nice job!
Fun and funny! I appreciate the content there if you know the ending and go back to finish it early :P
Interesting game! The interpretation of the theme was very creative! I really like the graphics, and the sound (especially the voices) is fun. The gameplay is pretty solid. Good job.
Really funny game with great writing and nice amount of mechanics! I really appreciated the checkpoint system so you don't start all over again or that the solution was actually hidden from the start, but I most definitely enjoyed the SFX. Really awesome entry! :D
Like the critters. Funny voice acting. Graphics are clean. Only thing that could be added is some speed just a little, almoust didn’t finish it.
Super cool entry! Love the palette. Great idea and execution!
Probably the funniest entry I've played :D Really good atmosphere. Graphics are quite simple but everything's communicated very effectively. Had a little OCD trigger when I wasn't able to clean up all the glass as it was out of reach :D Humor is very effective and the plot is compelling enough to keep you interested throughout. Great work with dialogues and voice acting! It was at times a little hard to pick up what was being said, so clearer audio would have been nice. Quite often in jam games that rely on voice audio there's this issue of comprehensibility, especially considering that part of the LD audience does not speak english natively. So I guess special care should be taken to make things as easy to understand as possible (or adding subtitles!).
Game feels quite complete, so great job with scope and time management! Overall very simple game but it does what it needs to do. I think coming up with a simple but effective idea is probably the #1 skill for these jams, and you definitely nailed that! What could have been added was maybe some basic atmospheric background sounds for immersion, and maybe less monotone colors or more filler in the room (but I see how that might have also just been a style choice).
Great work @vykri!
Nice work! This is probably the most successful attempt at humor I have ever witnessed in a jam game. The critters were definitely a high point. I also quite like the visual style.
Funny and very compact, jam-sized entry. Voice acting is a nice touch in a jam, although subtitles would have been great on the side as the second character was hard to understand at times.
