Lovely graphics! I'm not entirely sure about how we stun the death, though. Is this like Simon game, or are we supposed to press the keys right after they are shown?

I find the three potions after a few try ! The death is stressfull (and after few hit pattern can be difficult) but i've finally cheat her playing with the level design. The game is simple, but well made, it's shame you miss the compo. The sprite of the death is big and hide your character they are some momement where i'jsut can't see my character and stay block in the decor element. Music and sound is good, and make the mood too. Well done ! (i suggest you can desactivate the humour categorie) 000.png

Dear Filipe,

I really like the graphics. They look really sweet. The beginning is also nice. The game is self explaining. I really like this.

Unfortunately it's very difficult, so I was not able to beat it after several tries.

But it was still fun. You did a great job!

With best regards Max

Nice work with the graphics. Unfortunately my memory is bad (hello old age ;)) and more than four combos got too much for me.

I got stuck in a corner make death a walktrough.

Thanks for all the feedback! I've made some changes based on them! I hope you enjoy it!

I really stink at the game but I think it is working as intended. The Death mechanic is pretty good but I couldn't figure out what the goal was outside of repeating deaths "Simon Says" game. Appears to be a good use of the theme and it looks really good too.

Fun little game, I managed to beat it on my sceond attempt ! Death moves very quickly and makes for a scary game, which works pretty well ! I liked the mini-game idea PS : since you did not use you own assets / music I did not rate the Graphisms / Audio categories.

Nice game. Took a minute to realize what objects would block movement, and which wouldn't. Was confused to find the altar as the first interactable location since interacting with it doesn't do anything without the potions I wasn't sure that the interact key was even working.

Got to the end. Interesting idea. A little frustrating but the easiness balances that out well.

This is great! A fun concept and the frantic gameplay fits perfectly with the story of the game and theme of the jam. One thing I would suggest is to allow the player to get their bearings before Death appears. Maybe let them get a key and open a door just to get a feel of how the game works. Congrats on the game, I enjoyed it!

Fun game, I enjoyed trying to out run death for as long as possible. I did find a bug where I got stuck on one wall in a room as I got further through the house, I ended up dying coz I would only rotate on the spot without moving. Aside from that I think is a super impressive entry.

im just loving how forgiving the game mechanic is. loved the idea really. good execution and beautiful visuals

maneggadverureman 2022-04-20 02:00

Great art! The mechanics made sense, and nothing was too far out of place. But the game was a bit too easy, and forgiving, for my run of the game at least.

Solidly Great Game!

A fun little game.

jani-brezavscek 2022-04-20 19:46

That was fun! I really liked the atmosphere and the idea that fits perfectly with the theme!

I'm too bad with this game, death is stunt for a so short time and is so fast, that I mainly pass the time struggling with my memory or bumping against the furniture, instead of searching the potions  This still is a good take of the theme, and arts are polished, I just would have more fun if I could beat it after reasonable number of tries (but unfortunatly I didn't) Good job anyway, balancing is always the last and more difficult thing to do in a jam
